Chapter 3461: Might Be Good
"Another one?" Rean was taken aback, trying to sense the system and the location of the path it mentioned. "Hum... it is quite far away."
*Zush!*
Roan also appeared outside, looking in the same direction. Then, he looked around, seeing that they were floating several thousands of kilometers above the ground. The Temporal Path entrance by their side was quite hard to see, and it didn’t even appear in their Divine Sense. No doubt, it was a result of the environmental conditions in this place. "Not too bad. There is no risk of anyone knowing it is here... most likely."
"So, what about the Abyssal Path?" Rean asked on the side.
Roan didn’t have the least bit of interest, though. "Ignore it. Don’t waste time, check the Werdlem Empire Network. See if the Heavens have a place where all the Dark Element is pushed to. If it does, we have no reason to go back to the Divine Snow World."
Rean nodded and quickly took out his CD. He wasn’t the only one. Rifindio and Zangeshu did the same in the Dimensional Realm. If they returned to the Divine Snow World, they wouldn’t have access to the Werdlem Empire Network for a while, either.
"Good, the Werdlem Network is available in this place," Rean commented and started his research. "We can’t do it for long. After all, the communication devices we are using were not supposed to exist in this place. If we are not careful, we might be found for that same reason."
Zangeshu and Rifindio heard Rean’s words just like Roan did, and they made sure not to leave any trace behind in their research.
After an hour of careful browsing, Rean couldn’t help but sigh. "There does seem to be a few places in the Heavens that accumulate Dark Element. Just like the Light Element in Lisan’s Underworld, the Dark Element here is pushed to those places because of the huge concentration of the Light Element. However..."
Rean then brought his CD close for Roan to see, which made Roan narrow his eyes. "Just that?"
There was a problem with the places where the Dark Element gathered in the Heavens. The Dark Element here wasn’t all gathered in a single place. Instead, it gathered in various places all around the Heavens. Naturally, the concentration of Dark Element in those places wasn’t anything worth mentioning. Roan could acquire it in the Divine Realm already since there it was balanced.
Rean also felt somewhat disappointed. "So what now? There is that Abyssal Path we can check, but it is quite far away. We don’t even know what exists there."
Roan pondered a bit. "Could that Abyssal Path actually be the Great Void Shifter Formation?"
Now they know that the Great Void Shifter uses the Abyssal Beasts’ Abyssal Paths to move things from one place to another, especially between Universes. Since the System detected an Abyssal Path, perhaps that path was the Great Void Shifter that was supposed to exist in the Heavens.
But then again, they were also told that the Great Void Shifters of the Heavens and Underworld were not working anymore. That wasn’t a problem for the twins’ group, though. With the Abyssal Soul’s innate ability, they didn’t need the Formation, only the Abyssal Path itself.
That way, they could use the network of Abyssal Paths of the Great Void Shifters to go to Kentucky’s Parent’s Universe... or so was the idea. Would it really work? They weren’t sure.
Rean thought about it for a moment. There was indeed a chance, but they were aware that there were various hidden Abyssal Paths all over this Universe and the various other Universes. The chance of that one being the Great Void Shifter was too small. "No, wait! We just need to search the Werdlem Network. There must be some mention of the Great Void Shifter since they were used during the conquering of this Universe."
Once again, Rean delved into the network, looking for the historical mentions of the shifter. He also used the system to find exactly where they were in the Heavens, which turned out to be pretty far away from the center. There is nothing wrong there since suddenly appearing at the center of the Heavens by using a random Temporal Path would have been too much of a coincidence.... or maybe not, considering that the Destiny Attraction always causes some near-impossible situations to happen.
"Sigh..." Rean shook his head in the end. "Forget it. I found the mentions of the Great Void Shifter of the Heavens. It is literally located on the opposite side of the Heavens, and just to get there like we are now would probably take thousands of years. This Abyssal Path here seems to be related to something else."
Roan didn’t need to hear it twice.
*Zush!*
He instantly disappeared, and his voice echoed in Rean’s mind. ’Then checking this Abyssal Path is a waste of time. Let’s go back to the Divine Snow Mountain Sect and use their escape plan to get out of the Divine Snow World.’
Rean nodded, but before that, he checked one more thing. "Let me see the information of the Underworld as well. Perhaps their Underworld is similar to Lisan’s, and all Light Element accumulates in a single point."
Rean took a while, but he eventually found out that the Underworld was just like the Heavens. Perhaps this was a trait of this Universe. The Light Element of the Underworld was also pushed away and accumulated. However, it didn’t accumulate in a single point, but various different points instead. It simply wasn’t worth trying it out. Nonetheless, Rean made sure to search the Great Void Shifter of the Underworld, saving its location in case they needed it in the future.
Rean took one last look around, feeling a little sad he wouldn’t be able to use all that Light Element. Finally, he turned to the Temporal Path and entered it. Heavens would have to wait.
*Zush!*
Several hours later, Rean came out back into the Divine Snow World. Right after, he entered the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm, gathering with everyone in there. "So, should we keep that device running?"
Celis nodded. "You could build a concealing formation around the temporal path and leave a lot of Divine Stones for the device. If we find ourselves in need of escaping the Divine Snow World for some reason in the future, we can use this path. The device will keep the Pseudo Temporal Path stable as long as it has Divine Energy to use."
Roan agreed with Celis. "He is right. Besides, Celis has a few more of them."
"That wasn’t really a problem," Rean shrugged. "I already analyzed the entire device, and my Qia left its source code open to my usual login. I know exactly how to build that device now if we need it in the future."
"Even better then," Kentucky added. "Let’s hide this place and return to the Divine Snow Mountain Sect. It isn’t all bad that we didn’t find what we wanted in the Heavens. At the very least, we might be able to find out what that Robot was about. And don’t say you aren’t curious because I definitely am."
Rean and the others looked at each other, agreeing with Kentucky. It might indeed be a good thing.
