Chapter 3430: For You Only
Above where the timer marked zero, the same elder from before appeared, followed by his two companions. "A total of 9325 participants managed to buy their Sect Passes and join the sect. As for the rest of you, I can only wish you better luck next time. Stay still, and you will all be teleported to the cities where you registered for the sect entrance test."
The entire field flashed with silver light, and in a matter of a second, the over seventy thousand participants who failed disappeared. There was a Teleport Formation built under the entire sect that could be controlled at will. There was even an entire sector of the sect where several Formations Masters worked on this one specific formation alone.
Seeing that all those who failed disappeared, the elder floating above everyone continued his speech. "Alright, we already have all your IDs registered in the sect as disciples, and the sect’s system will allocate you to your own rooms and sectors. If you have any questions, just go to the official website and use your ID to access the sect’s intranet. There is a section there dedicated solely to this kind of support, so make good use of it."
Following that, the elder waved his hand, and the haze that covered the new disciples’ vision of the rest of the sect disappeared. "I hope you won’t let us down. You are now free to go."
All the disciples began to fly away, curious to explore the sect of their dreams. Everyone wanted to be part of the Divine Snow Mountain. The twins’ group, however, didn’t leave their location. Instead, Rean went to the official website to check how everything worked.
"So, it works pretty much like any other sect. We can take missions, the sect has its own credit system, there are various halls dedicated to specific sub-jobs, etc... There are a few different things, though. For example, the Divine Snow Sect’s influence is enormous in the Divine Snow World. That said, you might be sent to other continents to carry out tasks that are more akin to diplomatic relations than missions," Rean explained.
"Is there any resource they provide that we can make use of?" Roan asked, ignoring the rest. They weren’t exactly here to be part of the sect, after all. They just needed the forest surrounding it.
"Well, the higher the level of the mission, the more Divine Stones you can acquire. To be honest, Roan and I don’t have a need for them. We can sell our weapons, pills, etc. That would provide us with more money than the missions themselves. But the missions do give Snow Mountain Credits, which can be used to trade for some rare items the sect has in its coffers."
"The diplomatic missions are the best ones in that regard, although they usually take a few months to several years to be concluded. At the same time, they are more dangerous. The Divine Snow Mountain obviously has the cream of the crop when it comes to talented and strong experts. Thus, these diplomatic missions often carry tasks related to helping with wars, battles, etc. The sect creates ties with other forces by helping them against their enemies. Of course, there are other things as well, but the main bulk is often related to it."
Roan looked at Zangeshu, Ridia, and Rifindio. "These three might be able to make good use of these missions. But for now, we will bring Ridia to the forest at the base of the mountain and find the location with the highest concentration of Earth and Wood Elements. She needs to cultivate."
"Zangeshu," Rean turned to his disciple. "Go ahead and take a look at the blacksmith and formations’ halls. If you find anything interesting, contact me on my CD."
"I’ll also take a look at the talisman hall." Since Zangehu also studied that, he wouldn’t lose that opportunity. It’s just that Rean didn’t have an interest in talismans.
Roan then checked his information, finding his room in the sect... which didn’t really exist. "Hum? No rooms for disciples?"
Zangeshu checked his own ID. "I do have a room in my name here."
Ridia did the same. "And so do I."
However, Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and Rifindio checked theirs, and there was nothing there. "That’s weird. Why don’t any of us have a room?"
"Because you have Pocket Dimensional Realms," someone suddenly answered, approaching the twins’ group from the side.
That was none other than the elder who was checking on Rean earlier, the same one Rean noticed to have used Divine Sense on him. "Oh... hello, senior. Can you explain?"
The elder nodded with a smile. "Yes. There is no Void Tempering Realm expert in the Divine Snow Mountain who doesn’t have his or her own Pocket Dimensional Realm. And let’s be honest, a Pocket Dimensional Realm is usually the place where you build everything the way you like. That said, it has been countless years since the sect eliminated the private rooms for new disciples at the Void Tempering Realm. Only those below this realm will gain a room to stay since they don’t have their Pocket Dimensional Realms yet."
Roan narrowed his eyes. "Even though Pocket Dimensional Realms are good, there are things we need to spend time outside to put into practice. What about those cases? Also, if we can only use our Pocket Dimensional Realms, what if someone decides to attack their entrance while we are inside?"
"Answering your first question, you can simply rent a space," the elder explained. "They are quite cheap and come with an array of features, like Energy Gathering Formations, Spatial Training Rooms, and other things. It’s just that the price over time might be a little too hard to pay. It’s up to you, though. As for attacking your Pocket Dimensional Realm, there is no need to worry. With the formations in place in our sect, no one will dare to try such a thing."
Roan nodded and didn’t ask anymore. Truth be told, he wouldn’t stay outside anyway. He would prefer to cultivate in the Dimensional Realm.
With that out of the way, Rean asked what bothered him the most. "So, elder... why are you here talking to us?"
"My interest is not on all of you," he spoke before pointing at Rean. "I came here for you only."
