Silver City, somewhere.

A latest issue of the Kingdom Mechanical University journal, through some secret channel, was delivered here.

A hand picked it up, reading it carefully: “Breakthrough in the mass-production process of liquid metal?”

The hands belong to a man in his forties, readjusting his glasses: “The authors are James and Morphy?”

He considered for a moment, then took the journal down to the basement.

There, a long, rectangular-shaped table stood majestically, a few figures scattered here and there.

“Nature is supreme!”

A few sweet female voices began.

“Nature is supreme!”

The middle-aged man repeated the slogan, then handed the journal to a woman with curly blonde hair sitting closest to him at the table: “This is the latest scientific research from Kingdom University. James has made a breakthrough in liquid metal research!”

“The advancement of technology, the development of civilization… It will only lead to destruction in the end. Humans should return to nature and the primitive.”

A woman at the top of the table spoke, forcefully pressing down on the journal: “James is already on our ‘elimination list’. Now… let’s expedite him! I received a prophecy that the invent of liquid metal will raise the height of civilization, leading us closer to ruin.”

“Yes, the twelfth prophet.”

The blonde woman answered respectfully: “What about the second author of the paper – Morphy?”

“He is a true genius, who delivered such result within half a year of his enrollment… He should also be on the elimination list. We can’t afford to give him the chance to harm humanity.”

The twelfth prophet spoke in an indescribable tone.

“Understood!”

The blonde woman agreed sweetly.

The middle-aged man stood solemnly by the side, breaking out into a cold sweat.

‘Maybe… I will hear the news of the young genius’s death soon? But this is for all of humanity, for the entire civilization.’

He knew very well the power of the Natural Society, and he was willingly fighting for its cause.

Those ancient ruins and the few words left by the prophets, they are the best evidence!

….

At the training ground.

Su Lu got into the cockpit, struck up to pilot a seven-meter high mecha.

“Generally speaking, we call mechanical armors over five meters tall ‘mechas’, and those under five meters are ‘Guyvers’… Mechas are suitable for large-scale wars, and Guyvers are good for small-scale battles… though not always.”

James’s voice came from the radio: “Now, you can try this ‘King Kong’… It is the standard mecha in the Kingdom Army, equipped with neural link, auxiliary systems, and a level III energy source…”

“Hmm…”

Su Lu groaned, feeling a prickling sensation start at the base of his spine and spread up his entire spine.

Meanwhile, with a move in his thoughts, the King Kong raised its right hand: “Is this the neural link technology? It feels good…”

“Although a neural link can allow a mecha pilot to make various intricate and complex movements, even disabled soldiers can do so, it has its disadvantages… When the mecha is injured, it will cause intense pain to the brain, especially the neural link key point at the back. Despite the numerous protections with alloy steel, if it’s damaged, it could cause permanent paralysis…”

James’s voice continued: “Especially for you, a Super Senser! You must be very careful about this.”

“I understand.”

Su Lu let his Inspiration spread across the entire mecha body, suddenly the illusion of having a second body.

Subsequently, he operated the King Kong to perform a series of complex movements.

“Perfect!”

On the outside, James watched this scene, his eyes sparkling: “It’s like having a second body, and touched function. With a little training, he can surpass most elite units… Now prepare for a combat test!”

“I’m ready!”

Su Lu was feeling the experience of operating a mecha.

“Hmm… The pressure in the cockpit is quite high. Without a Knight body, regular people probably wouldn’t be able to handle it.”

He operated the King Kong, picked up a war blade, and saw another ‘King Kong’ walk into the field.

“First, it’s a reaction test! Your opponent is Bilbo, Elite Soldier and retired military instructor! Don’t worry, I’ve reduced the power of the experimental ammunition in his gun, it won’t break the protective armor of the King Kong…”

James told Su Lu through the intercom.

“Begin!”

Su Lu gestured.

The other King Kong immediately raised his firearm.

In the operating cabin, Bilbo’s left eyes had a scar, now looking at Su Lu, coldness flashed across his face.

‘The order from Natural Society, I can’t refuses… Poor Morphy, your Misfortune began when you met me…’

‘However, I can’t just kill him outright, it would be better to make it look like an accident!’

Even though he decided to complete the task, Bilbo still had his own will: ‘In this way… my situation might get better, and I can continue to strive for the organization. As for Morphy? No one would pay attention to a genius who is dead or disabled.’

As an Elite Soldier, he raised his firearm and calmly pulled the trigger.

Boom boom boom!

Three experimental bullets were fired, and Su Lu deftly dodged them.

“Hmm… Not bad reaction, but such a pity…”

Bilbo’s face bore a smirk, he suddenly fired continuously.

Boom boom!

A sound louder than before came.

Listening to this sound, James’s face changed: “This isn’t an experimental bullet, it’s live ammunition? An accident? Bilbo, stop immediately!”

He looked horrified towards the testing field and noticed that Su Lu’s mecha barely managed to dodge the twin trajectories at first.

But at that moment, it seemed to lose its balance and fell to the ground.

“Now’s my chance!”

The sight of this Bilbo’s eyes lit up and he mercilessly continued pulling the trigger.

“No!”

James held his head in his hands.

But the next moment, he saw the now off-balance King Kong One assuming a strange posture, like becoming a ball, rolling to dodge the trajectory, closing the distance, and ramming its shoulder into King Kong Two.

Rumble!

The mecha Bilbo was operating fell, and the firearm in his hand flew high into the air.

Su Lu’s war blade sprang from his hand, prying up a piece of steel plate and stabbing it into a certain part.

“Ah!”

Bilbo screamed, and the whole King Kong Two, like a beheaded frog, twitched occasionally but could no longer make any movements.

Click!

The cabin door opened, and Su Lu came out with a dark face: “He tried to kill me, I was defending myself!”

“Yes, I know!”

James quickly rushed up, his expression solemn: “I will give you an explanation.”

He called over guards, opened the cabin door, and took the limp Bilbo out.

“Speak… Who told you to do it?”

James asked in a cold tone.

“Hehe… Nature is supreme!”

Bilbo seemed to have lost his ability to resist, only his eyes were fixed on James and Su Lu: “If anyone told me, it was the will of all humankind!”

“You are a member of the Natural Society. They’ve infiltrated so deeply?”

James’s face turned extremely ugly.
