The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Two large cocoons were left suspended in the air as the tribulation clouds dispersed, signaling that the tribulation was over.

The seventh form of the tribulation was clearly intended to split the two sisters. Though the chances of killing them were high, the main goal was to divide their destiny, bringing an end to the force they were soon to become.

Unfortunately for the tribulation, the Paragon had seen this from a mile away and knew what had to be done to prevent it. Klaus made sure they succeeded, and now, high in the air, the two ladies were undergoing their breakthrough.

“They have yet to form their soul bodies, but the aura coming from them is already this strong,” Pickle Berry said, staring at the cocoons.

“I guess my blood is much more powerful, huh?” Klaus said, and Pickle Berry could only nod. The idea of turning any beast or monster he resonated with into a divine beast was just too much to take in.

However, the results were already clear. Kathy and Nari were a testament to this. So, for all they could expect, the two ladies would also become divine beasts.

However, while their situation was unique, something else was at play here—and it wasn’t just Klaus’s blood.

Klaus, who seemed to be sensing something else coming from the cocoons, narrowed his gaze at them. It felt like the foreign presence he had sensed from Nari when she was undergoing her tribulation.

It was as if a much more powerful presence was entering the ladies—or had been awakened—and it was affecting them.

But since he couldn’t tell for sure, Klaus had to wait for the process to end. A day later, cracks appeared in the cocoons. They quickly spread, and before long, the shells shattered, releasing two heaven-defying beauties.

One was a whitish-blue-haired beauty, while the other was a dark-haired beauty.

Linx and Jinx had finally completed their breakthrough, stepping into the ranks of Void Stage experts.

However, while that was commendable, something else caught Klaus’s attention. Their appearance seemed almost unbelievable.

They looked completely human, which Klaus knew was thanks to his blood. This also meant they had a human form—and likely other forms as well.

Before focusing on that, his attention was drawn to the halo-like ring hovering behind the two sisters. With a glance, he knew they were divine weapons, something similar to his Lightning Source Diagram.

They each have the ring behind them. Linx’s is what, and Jinx’s was black.

Linx was clad in white armor that covered her body but left some alluring spots exposed.

The fact that Klaus noticed it was enough to show that it was serving its purpose.

She had a long sword sheathed on her back—both the sword and sheath were white. A half-mask covered the lower half of her face, stopping just beneath her nose.

This left her eyes exposed, allowing Klaus a clear view of her beautiful blue eyes. Her brows were also whitish-blue. She was breathtaking.

Jinx was no less stunning. While her sister carried a sword, she held a dark scythe that needed no introduction—it was clearly a soul weapon.

But that wasn’t all. Her armor matched her sister’s in design but was entirely black. More notably, five daggers were sheathed in various parts of her body.

She had one strapped to each leg, two at her waist, and one on her left arm. She gripped the scythe firmly, her deep black eyes gleaming under the dim moonlight.

“Ladies,” Klaus said, prompting them to fly toward him. As they moved, the ring-shaped halos behind them followed in sync.

“Congratulations on your breakthrough,” Klaus said once they landed on the ground.

“Thank you.” They both spoke

“None of this would have been possible without your help,” Linx replied, sounding more human now. They were once beasts—but now, they had become divine beasts, each with strength that could rival even a Level 2 Void Stage expert… even in their human form.

“I don’t have much time to waste, so why don’t we get down to it. Can you share your gains after your breakthrough?” Klaus asked.

Since they had now evolved, they needed to share their experiences and gains so Klaus could better understand his Star Monarch bloodline. This would also help him learn more about them.

He created seats out of ice, and they all sat down. Asha joined the twins, smiling with joy. Pickle Berry, however, leapt onto Klaus’s lap.

Linx chose to speak.

“First of all, we awakened a bloodline called [Primordial Yin-Yang Ant]. This bloodline allows us to take on human form, which is the form we are in now.

“It also grants us control over the powers of light and darkness. Beyond that, we awakened an innate body constitution that comes with the bloodline. It’s called the [Jade Yin-Yang Body].

“We still need to examine it more closely before we can determine exactly how it works. But from what we already understand, this body allows us to harness Yin and Yang energy more effectively.”

She paused for a moment, then continued.

“As for your blood—it was granted to us as a second form.”

The two sisters began to change. Their armor gained golden enhancements, similar to Nari’s. However, unlike her, they didn’t receive a new class.

Instead, their current abilities were amplified.

While in that form, all of their effects were enhanced threefold, and their duration increased to five hours instead of two.

“But while we didn’t get a new class,” Linx added, “we received something else… something we don’t fully understand yet.” She extended her hand, revealing a golden key resting in her palm.

“According to the information we received, this is called the ‘Key of Reincarnation’.”

‘I knew it,’ Klaus thought, his eyes locked on the key in Linx’s hand. He had suspected something like this when he sensed that unfamiliar presence during their breakthrough.

“What does it do?” Jinx asked, pulling out a similar key of her own.

“It’s very simple, actually,” Klaus replied. “Just press it to your forehead. However, don’t do it now. Let’s finish discussing everything first.”

They nodded in agreement and continued sharing everything they had earned after becoming Void Stage Divine Beasts.
