Terra Nova Online: Rise of The Strongest Player
Chapter 816: The Black SunChapter 816: The Black Sun
As Anos looked around and saw pure fear in the eyes of his people for the first time ever, he realized that his carefully crafted image of years was crumbling.
For all their lives, the demons had imagined the Black Dragon and the Demon King as these invincible figures—symbols of power beyond measure.
And now, watching one of them bleed had suddenly shattered that illusion.
The once-roaring demon audience sat in stunned silence, their wide eyes flicking between the wound on Drogo’s obsidian scales and the masked human standing defiantly below. Whispers rippled through the stands, uncertainty tainting their once-absolute confidence as Anos clenched his jaw.
This was not supposed to happen.
The plan had been simple: overwhelm the human with an undeniable show of power, crush him before his people, and reaffirm to the world that the Demon King’s supremacy was absolute.
But instead—
Leo had done the unthinkable.
He had reversed Anos’s strongest opening move and sent it back with twice the strength, giving it enough power to make even the mighty Black Dragon bleed.Worst of all—he had laughed while doing it.
A deep scowl settled over Anos’s face as he turned to glance at Drogo.
Plip.
Another drop of dragon’s blood splattered against the battlefield below as Anos exhaled sharply through his nose.
For the first time in decades, a thought slithered its way into his mind—a thought he had never entertained before.
‘Could we actually lose this fight?’
The thought lasted for a split second before Drogo’s words pulled him back to reality.
“I’m okay, old friend. This small wound is nothing to me. My body’s accelerated healing will close this wound before tomorrow morning. Just focus on the fight at hand for now.”
Drogo’s words snapped Anos out of his downward spiral, as ignoring the crowd and ignoring the million dark thoughts weighing heavily on his mind, Anos forced himself to focus.
He had to deal with Leo and win first.
Everything else could come after.

(Meanwhile, Leo)
Leo keenly observed the change in the Demon King’s facial expressions while laughing like a maniac.
Seeing Anos looking lost and shaken had been satisfying, but as the Demon King quickly regained his composure, Leo clicked his tongue in regret.
“The real fight’s about to begin, Dumpy. Be prepared,” Leo whispered, his voice calm but firm.
He knew by the look in the Demon King’s eyes that he wasn’t going to take the insults lying down anymore—that he was going to respond with a BANG!
And respond he did.
As the moment he regained his composure, Anos leaned slightly forward, whispering something into Drogo’s ear.
“I see…” the Black Dragon said after hearing Anos’s instructions, his golden eyes gleaming with understanding.
Then, without wasting another second, Drogo took off, flying vertically, as though he was aiming for space.
The Black Dragon’s sudden decision to climb through the sky caught Leo off-guard.
For a split second, he considered commanding Dumpy to give chase.
But unlike the Black Dragon, who could fly indefinitely, Dumpy could not.
Leo made a calculated choice—he wouldn’t chase.
Instead, he watched.
He observed as the Black Dragon and the Demon King climbed through the sky with terrifying speed, the dragon’s enormous wings tearing through the air like great obsidian blades.
That was when everything started to change.
At first, it was subtle.
A strange heaviness began to settle over the battlefield, creeping in like an unseen force.
The air grew thicker, the pressure heavier, as though something immense was pressing down on every living thing.
Then—
“What’s happening? Why can I suddenly not breathe properly?”
“Is it just me, or did our surroundings suddenly start turning dark?”
“My skin… it’s tingling… but I don’t know why?”
Unnatural phenomena gripped the arena the higher Drogo flew.
At first, nobody seemed to understand what was happening.
Then, as their gazes lifted, they saw it.
The massive black flames coiling around Drogo’s body, writhing like living shadows, pulsing with waves of raw, overwhelming mana.
He was preparing something.
Something catastrophic.
And since it was an attack that took significant time to prepare, he had left the battlefield—rising higher and higher, separating himself from Leo and Dumpy below, ensuring that they could not interfere.
“Cowards! Running away from an active battle by flying—how disgraceful!” Dumpy shouted, his insult aimed more at the Demon Crowd than his opponents, trying to rile them up just like Leo had.
But this time—his words fell flat.
No one was listening.
Every pair of eyes was locked onto the sky.
The Black flames engulfing Drogo seemed to consume sunlight, as if it were their natural enemy, causing the sky around him to start to die.
The once-brilliant blue above the battlefield dimmed, not as if a cloud had passed, but as though the very light itself was being consumed.
A vast shadow stretched outward from where Drogo hovered, expanding unnaturally across the heavens, like an inkblot spreading through water.
It didn’t block the sun.
It swallowed it whole.
The arena trembled.
“I can’t… I can’t move my legs properly…”
“My arms feel heavy—like something’s pushing me down—”
“What… what the hell is that thing forming up there?!”
The human spectators panicked.
And even the demons, who had been stunned into silence by Leo’s attack just moments ago, began to stir and speculate.
“I’m scared….”
“This attack feels a hundred times stronger than the one our King launched…”
“Is this the true power of the Black Dragon?”
They wondered, because now, there was no denying it.
Something cataclysmic was being born in the sky above.
BOOM.
At that moment, a pulse of pure mana erupted from Drogo’s body, sending a shockwave downward that rattled the arena walls. The air crackled with electricity as the black flames around him thickened, coalescing into a singular, spinning mass.
The sphere grew.
It twisted, pulsed, and devoured the space around it—sucking in the very light that tried to touch it.
It was no longer just a gathering of flames.
It was a celestial force.
A sun made of pure destruction.
A Black Sun.
A technique whispered about in ancient legends.
A Divine Move, labeled among the top three strongest attacks in the world of Terra Nova Online.
A technique so feared, even demons themselves dreaded seeing it unleashed.
A technique that delivered threefold ruin—through its crushing gravity, its all-consuming heat, and its absolute impact.
“He’s done for—the Human Emperor is done for!”
“The Black Sun is here! The move whispered in legends that can destroy entire cities!”
“Run! We must run! Or the sun shall consume us all—”
The Demon Counts spoke, panic evident in their voices, as they understood the significance of the attack brewing in the sky.
Unlike the common fools who only watched in awe, the Demon Nobles knew exactly what was coming, and they did not intend to stay back and see it descent.
