Chapter 1062 - 1062: An Enemy One Mustn’t Provoke [Part 1]

“I’ve heard many things about you and personally witnessed what you can do,” Ristella said in a teasing tone. “Yet it seems like I’ve still underestimated your boldness.”

The woman who worked behind the scenes of the Velmoria Kingdom glanced at her two nieces before shaking her head helplessly.

“I don’t know if you girls have been charmed by this Wanderer or not,” Ristella stated. “But I hope you do understand that you’re playing a very dangerous game here? The moment his identity is revealed, our entire faction will be labeled as his accomplices.

“No matter what explanation you say when this comes to light, it won’t change the fact that we will become the Dragonkin’s enemy.”

“Aunt, we’ve never been the Dragonkin’s allies from the start,” Princess Laventia argued.

“Even now, the Jinns retain the temporary alliance they formed with the Wanderers. You can ask any of the leaders in the different factions if they like Prince Aurelion and his authoritarian rule. I’m certain they will all say no.”

Ristella smiled faintly. “My dear niece, I don’t need to ask something I already know. But even if it’s the truth, so what? None of the Jinns will dare to oppose the Dragonkin with two Majin Princes and a Majin Princess backing them up.”

The beautiful woman then glanced at Zia, who was listening calmly to their discussion.

“I’ve heard that you’ve fought against a Majin Prince before, so you must know how powerful they really are,” Ristella stated. “We cannot afford to offend the Dragonkin right now.”

“I understand.” Thirteen nodded. “I really felt helpless when I fought against a Majin King in the past. It was so powerful, I had no choice but to beat it to death with a stick.”

The corner of Ristella’s lips twitched after hearing Zia’s reply.

“Child, we’re just talking about a Majin Prince. How could you jump to a Majin King?” Ristella asked in a teasing tone. “Also, you beat it to death with a stick? What kind of stick did you use? Can I purchase them in bulk? I’d like to beat a Majin King to death with a stick as well.”

Zia and Ristella exchanged knowing smiles with each other.

One was thinking that the older lady didn’t believe her, and the other was thinking that the young lady was just making things up.

“Okay, let me tell you the current situation of the continent right now. Then, you can decide whether the Velmoria Kingdom should ally with us fully or not.”

“Okay, please sit,” Ristella stated. “We don’t have to worry about the summons of the Dragonkins right now. This is more important. I will make my decision depending on what will give our race the highest chance of survival.”

Zia nodded and sat down, facing the third decision maker of the succubus race.

“Right now, I have two Majin Princes on my side. They recently crossed over this world through the mutated gates,” Thirteen explained, which made Ristella arch an eyebrow.

However, she didn’t say anything and simply listened to everything Zia had to say.

The young lady then told her about the evacuation of the Wanderers and the Naval base currently under construction far out into the sea.

The barrier of the Cygni Continent would prevent Jinns from leaving the continent, so the Wanderers were actually in a more advantageous position. With their location, they could attack and retreat at any time.

Lastly, the two Majin Princes’ armies were currently stationed inside and around Casimir City.

Although their forces were not as strong as the combined might of the Artemian and Dragonkin Armies, they were still a force to reckon with.

He didn’t mention Zapar’s powers since doing so would be a death flag.

Any ability that could affect women was taboo in the succubus race, so he only mentioned that they were there to gather information about the Dragonkin and sabotage whatever plans they had against the Wanderers.

“The darkest place is under the lamp,” Zia stated. “Since we are here within enemy territory, the Dragonkins wouldn’t have any idea what hit them, and we will hit them hard. It just so happens that the Artemians are also here.

“This makes our gamble very worthwhile. Of course, if you choose not to cooperate with us, then I will leave this place to not implicate you guys anymore. Lastly, I have one more thing to say.”

Zia gave Princess Laventia a sidelong glance before smirking.

“Princess Laventia and the Hero of the Wanderers, Roland, are now a couple,” Zia stated. “I hope you also add that to your consideration.”

Princess Xynalia was already aware of this, while Ristella only seemed mildly amused by this revelation.

“So you’re already a woman, huh?” Ristella glanced at her niece with a smile. “Was he good enough for a succubus?”

Princess Laventia’s face reddened as she glared hatefully at Zia, who had a smug look on her face.

“Well, let’s get back to the topic.” Ristella shifted her attention back to Zia as she crossed her arms over her chest. “Aside from us, which factions have a close relationship with you?”

“House Pavareth,” Thirteen answered without hesitation. “Princess Aracelle and I are now a couple.”

“”Huh?!””

The three succubus were shocked at this revelation, especially Princess Xynalia who never saw it coming.

“You and that arrogant princess are now a couple?!” Princess Xynalia asked. “How?!”

“I plucked her flowe—errr, feathers,” Zia replied. “I tortured her so much that in the end, she submitted to me. Princess Laventia, do you still remember what I did to Prince Zorren?”

“Of course.” Princess Laventia’s body uncontrollably shuddered after remembering that scene. “How can I forget?”

“Before I did that to Prince Zorren, Princess Aracelle was my first captive,” Zia explained.

“… I see.” Princess Laventia looked at the young lady with a complicated gaze.

The succubus princess had treated Princess Aracelle as her rival, so knowing she had suffered terribly in Zion’s hands made her feel conflicted.

Looking at Zia now, no one would think that she could even hurt a fly.

But beneath that facade was a merciless person who wouldn’t bat an eye before using any means necessary to make his enemies suffer and submit to his will.

“Aunt, believe me when I say that I would rather have the Dragonkin and Artemians as our enemy,” Princess Laventia stated. “Zion is a very dangerous person when provoked.”

Ristella didn’t reply. Instead, she snapped her fingers and several black chains bound Zia’s body, holding her in place.

“You’re scared of someone I can easily kill on a whim?” Ristella asked. “While he may be dangerous if he commands the Wanderers from the back, coming here in person was a mistake. In fact, I just need to kill him here, and half of our problems will be gone.

“We may even get the neutrality we wish for by offering his head to the Dragonkin and Artemians. His death will also be a blow to the Wanderers, easing the process of conquering this world.”

The older woman eyed the beautiful lady who had been trapped helplessly by her power. She could tell how fragile her body was. All it would take was a thought from her, and Zia would die right here, right now.
