Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 728 - 728: Lady Aelith's Warning [Bonus]

(Elven Kingdom: Sylveria – The Queen’s Palace.)

Queen Elenara was resting on her throne, waiting for good news from her warriors or her mother, who had gone to retrieve Kent.

She knew deep in her heart that what she was doing was wrong, but greed can blind even the wisest and the most innocent.

She was hungry for more power, so she chose to pursue Kent, and now she knew success was almost within her grasp.

However, an hour after she deployed her men, the door to her throne room burst open, and a pale Lady Aelith entered.

“Mother… what happened?” The queen panicked when she saw the look of shock on her mother’s face. She immediately approached her, but a glare from Lady Aelith made her halt in her steps.

“Mother… what—” She couldn’t understand where the hostility was coming from. However, Lady Aelith said nothing and sat in her chair for ten full minutes before she spoke.

“Listen well, you idiot. Under no circumstances should you ever, even in the slightest, antagonize that human freak. Don’t even think about going against him with the entire Elven army. You won’t succeed.

Even if he appears here right now and demands the throne, give it to him, for if you go against him, you will not only doom yourself but the whole Elven race.

The Hand can handle its own business. The human named Kent Madison is off-limits. Don’t go against him ever again. That is all I can tell you.”

With that, Lady Aelith vanished from the throne room, leaving a shocked queen unsure of how to take the warning she had just been given.

“What just happened?” she asked herself, looking at the spot where her mother had sat just a few seconds ago. “What happened so badly that someone like Mother would be scared to this degree?”

“I need to know more.”

“Somebody, summon Dailon here.” A few minutes later, the leader of the Elven unit she had sent to retrieve Kent appeared in the hall, looking even paler than Lady Aelith.

This alone deepened her frown.

“Talk,” the queen said. “Tell me what happened and don’t leave anything out.”

Dailon was scared, but he had to talk, so he did. “The human you sent us to retrieve is a monster, my queen. When we arrived, he was waiting for us outside. It was like he knew we were coming.

Of course, we didn’t expect much from him, so we underestimated him. But that was our mistake—not that it makes any difference—but he was much more dangerous than we thought.

He spoke just a few words, but everything he said entered our minds to the point that we wanted nothing but to slaughter each other… I said we because I wanted to kill my own men because, at that moment, that was all I could think of.”

The queen shuddered in her chair.

‘Mind control… he can mind control Peak Core Formation experts?’ the queen wondered, feeling her heartbeat rise.

Of course, she had yet to hear the worst, and Dailon also wasn’t going into detail, knowing that telling her about what he had discovered between his wife and one of his soldiers would be a waste of time.

“He knew things, secrets that we haven’t told anyone… He was able to say things we did, and, strangely, even helped us catch a spy of the Dark Elves among my men.

But aside from that, he was in our heads, manipulating us to the point where I am not sure we can function as a unit anymore.

He defeated us without even killing a single one of us.

However, the horror came when the Hand unit arrived. It was the most brutal and jaw-dropping massacre I have ever witnessed. He killed every last one of them using just his fist. When he was done, he was bathed in their blood.

Thinking about it even gives me chills. But he was one scary bastard whom I wouldn’t want to face ever again, even if that means I will lose my role as army general.

The last thing that happened was when it was discovered that Tiger Fang was actually Kenji, the Blade Whisperer.”

This time, Queen Elenara stood up from her seat briefly before sitting back down. Her hands were shaking—not from fear, but from anger.

She knew what Kenji did to her people, the number of people that died because of him, so hearing that Tiger Fang was the cause of it all was just too much.

“What happened to him?” she asked.

“That is the weird part, my queen. What happened to him was the most horrifying thing I have ever witnessed… and I have seen a lot of evil things.

I don’t know how the human did it, but he was able to get inside Kenji’s mind and ordered him to cut himself 10,000 times without screaming or crying. His order was absolute, one that made every last one of us, including the Half-Elves, understand one thing.

If Kenji were evil, then the human named Kent Madson is the creator of evil. I know I am not in the business of advising the queen, but from what I saw, I have one piece of advice for you, my queen.”

“Make peace with the Half-Elves because they have Kent Madison’s backing and a race from the Dead Region.”

The queen was left stunned, unsure of what to say or even how to react. All she had just heard sounded so bizarre to her, yet she knew without a shred of doubt that General Dailon wouldn’t lie to her.

This meant Kent Madson was dangerous, and hearing the Half-Elves were now in league with a new race, she knew things were about to change.

Of course, she had two roads paved for her… one where she let go of her animosity with the Half-Elves, and the other where she continued, which, from what she had heard from General Dailon, would not end well for her.

“You can go, Dailon… Rest for now, and when you recover, come back. I have some questions for you.”

General Dailon nodded and left.

The queen remained in her chair for a few minutes before she also left. Things had just become much more dire now… if she didn’t act quickly, the flood would swallow her and everything she held dear.
