Chapter 2695: Relative (2)
Before the Liang Clan head could recover, Qingqing, who had been silently observing the situation, unleashed her Wind Blades, a flurry of razor-sharp wind currents that sliced through the air with deadly precision. The wind blades struck the Liang Clan head’s limbs, severing them cleanly from his body.
“Argh!”
The Liang Clan head let out a bloodcurdling scream, his voice filled with agony and despair. He writhed on the ground, his eyes filled with terror.
Yun Lintian watched the scene unfold indifferently. He had no intention of killing them at the moment.
“You… Who are you?” Elder Nie struggled to speak. He had never seen such a powerful person before. One had to know that he was already at the peak of the High God Realm. It would be impossible for even a God Ascension Realm cultivator to cripple him in one punch, even if it was a sneak attack.
Yun Lintian didn’t respond. He calmly reached out to grab Elder Nie’s head and invaded his mind, reading his memories.
He quickly learned that the Profound Mystery Sect was indeed behind the demise of the Bai Clan. Their goal was to subdue the White Tiger and refine the White Tiger God’s bloodline.
The Liang Clan was the main collaborator, having provided information and assistance to the Profound Mystery Sect in exchange for a share of the spoils. There were also other major clans involved.
Yun Lintian’s eyes turned colder as he absorbed this information. Without hesitation, Yun Lintian twisted Elder Nie’s head, ending his life swiftly and mercilessly. He then turned his attention to the Liang Clan head, who was still writhing on the ground, his eyes filled with terror.
“You… you monster!” the Liang Clan head gasped, his voice hoarse and trembling. “You will pay for this! The Profound Mystery Sect will not let you go!”
Yun Lintian chuckled coldly. “The Profound Mystery Sect?” he said, his voice laced with disdain. “They are nothing to me. I will crush them all, just as I crushed you.”
He paused for a moment, his eyes gleaming with a predatory light. “But for now, you will live. I will let you see how I destroy your entire clan.”
Yun Lintian waved his hand, and the Liang Clan head’s severed limbs reattached themselves to his body. The man’s eyes widened in disbelief as he felt his limbs regenerating, his wounds healing.
“You… what are you going to do?” he stammered, his voice filled with awe and fear.
Yun Lintian ignored him and turned his attention back to the White Tiger cub, who was still huddled against the wall, its eyes wide with fear. He approached the cub, his expression gentle, his aura calming.
“Don’t be afraid, little one,” he said, his voice soft and reassuring. “We won’t hurt you. We’re here to help you.”
The cub looked at Yun Lintian with uncertainty, its eyes searching his face for any sign of deceit. But it could sense the sincerity in his voice, the genuine warmth in his eyes. It slowly relaxed, its trembling subsiding.
At the same time, it could actually sense the White Tiger God bloodline in Yun Lintian’s body. This was actually her kin!
Linlin, seeing that the cub was calming down, approached her, her form shifting and changing as she revealed her true identity. Her small, feline body expanded, her fur grew longer and thicker, her eyes glowed with a fierce, golden light.
She transformed into the majestic White Tiger God, her aura radiating power and authority, her presence filling the chamber with a sense of ancient wisdom and untamed strength.
The cub’s eyes widened in awe as it gazed upon Linlin’s transformed form.
On the side, the Liang Clan head looked at Linlin in disbelief. “You are… the White Tiger God?”
Qingqing rolled her eyes annoyingly and waved her hand to shut the Liang Clan head’s mouth.
Linlin smiled gently, her eyes filled with a motherly warmth.
“Hello, little one,” she said, her voice soft and soothing. “My name is Linlin. I am a White Tiger God, just like you.”
The cub’s eyes sparkled with excitement as it recognized its kin. It let out a soft chirp, its tail wagging happily.
Linlin nuzzled the cub gently, her fur brushing against its soft coat. “Don’t worry, little one. You’re safe now. We’re here to protect you.”
The cub snuggled closer to Linlin, its fear and anxiety melting away.
Linlin, her gaze still fixed on the cub, turned her head slightly towards Yun Lintian. Her eyes, filled with a primal intensity, conveyed a silent question.
“Big Brother Yun,” she said, her voice resonating with a regal authority, “may I destroy the Liang Clan with my own hands?”
Yun Lintian, understanding the depth of her emotions, nodded calmly. “Do as you wish. They deserve nothing less.”
The Liang Clan head, his eyes wide with terror, struggled to speak, his body trembling uncontrollably. He understood the meaning of Linlin’s words, the impending annihilation of his clan. He tried to scream, to beg for mercy, but Qingqing’s spell held his voice captive.
Yun Lintian deactivated his Cloud Domain, allowing the sounds of the cave to reach the outside world once more. He picked up the White Tiger cub, holding her gently in his arms.
“Let’s go,” he said, his voice calm.
They exited the hidden chamber, leaving behind the lifeless body of Elder Nie. As they made their way through the cave, Yun Lintian eliminated the remaining guards, their deaths swift and silent.
They emerged from the cave onto the mountain’s peak, overlooking the Liang Clan manor. The sun was setting, casting long shadows across the city below.
The Liang Clan manor, once a symbol of power and prosperity, now stood as a testament to their greed and treachery.
Yun Lintian lifted the Liang Clan head into the air, giving him a good position to look over the entire Liang Clan manor.
Buzz—
Linlin, her form radiating a divine aura, leaped into the air, her majestic white fur gleaming in the fading light. She transformed into her full White Tiger God form, her presence dominating the sky. Her aura, a blend of power and wrath, enveloped the entire Liang Clan manor, sending shivers down the spines of those who witnessed her.
Crrraccckkkk!
The Liang Clan head, his eyes filled with horror, watched as Linlin’s power surged, her aura crackling with lightning. He knew what was coming, the inevitable destruction of his clan.
Linlin raised her paws, her eyes blazing with celestial fury. She summoned a barrage of thunderbolts, the likes of which had never been seen before.
