Erlang Shen suddenly thought of something and spoke up. "I understand now."

Yu Huang looked at him and nodded. "That's right. Our master later told us to build the Heavenly Pillars for the Trial Ground. In fact, he had merged the object with the pillar and connected it to the Heavenly Court. I was the one who knew about it."

"Why would he do that?" Erlang Shen furrowed his brow.

Yu Huang hesitated for a moment, his expression a mix of reluctance and resignation. He knew there was no other choice.

Erlang Shen, too, was shocked. "His control over energy is unparalleled. It's as if the core itself is willingly submitting to him."

As Yun Lintian continued to refine the core, he could feel the connection between Ren Yuan and the Heavenly Court weakening.

Ren Yuan had been the inheritor of the God of Heaven's legacy, and as such, he had a deep connection to the Heavenly Court. But now, that connection was being severed, replaced by Yun Lintian's own.

With a final surge of energy, Yun Lintian completed the refinement process. The core's light dimmed slightly, and the Heavenly Court's energy stabilized. The connection between Ren Yuan and the Heavenly Court had been completely cut off, and the realm now belonged to Yun Lintian.

Yun Lintian opened his eyes, his golden gaze sweeping over the hall. "It's done," he said simply. "The Heavenly Court is now under my control."

Yu Huang and the others were speechless. They had just witnessed something that should have been impossible. Yun Lintian had refined the Heavenly Court's core in a matter of minutes, something that even the God of Heaven had taken centuries to achieve.

Erlang Shen was the first to break the silence. "Yun Lintian, your power is truly beyond comprehension. But what will you do now?"

Yun Lintian looked at everyone and said calmly, "The reason I spared all of you is that I don't want to cause unnecessary chaos in the Nine Heavens Realm. At the same time, I want all of you to protect the Nine Heavens Realm during this period. Can you do it?"

"Yes!" The Heavenly Guards responded in unison. They didn't expect to have a chance to walk

on the path of light again.

Yun Lintian nodded and said, "I will send my people over later."
