Part of her was hoping he would deny it but even she knew that would be him lying.

“I met her before I did you and we have something going on as you must have guessed,” Kyle said and for some reason, Jane wasn’t as upset as she thought she would be.

Why? Because he met her before he did her which meant that Kyle had chosen her over someone so beautiful which only served to boost her self-esteem.

“However, you have nothing to worry about,” Kyle said, pausing as he looked him right in the eyes.

“A-Are you still sleeping with her?” Jane asked, clutching the short gown she had on.

“Yes, I am,” Kyle responded without hesitation.

“O-Oh, I see,” Jane responded, attempting to avert her gaze but Kyle redirected her face to his.

He knew it was up to her to stay or leave but deep down, he knew leaving would be best for her but what would happen to the feelings he had for her?

“Maybe this is me being selfish but you’re the only woman in my heart. I don’t just want your body, I want your mind and soul,” Kyle tried his best to reassure.

“But this isn’t up to me, it is up to you to choose if you wish to stay or not,” Kyle gave her the power to choose.

“W-Why do you still sleep with her when you have me?” Jane asked.

Kyle knew this was a delicate topic and owed her honesty at the end of the day.

He had feelings for Jane and she remained the one person he wanted to keep but if the truth meant he lost her. He would be glad he told her nonetheless.

“There are things I wish to do but I cannot do them with you because I respect you too much. This is why,” Kyle responded.

This didn’t excuse his behaviour considering Jane thought they were getting closer to a relationship.

“T-Things like…?” Jane asked and Kyle knew Jane wasn’t about that life and the last thing he would want is her forcing herself to fit that.

That was why multiple women existed. If one couldn’t fulfil his need, others could.

And if Kyle wasn’t able to satisfy their need, he would understand if they chose others to satisfy it.

However, Kyle satisfied every need they had. Not a lot of men could handle the financial burden that came with multiple women.

“I want you to think it over. If this is something you can or can’t handle. I would like you all to get along,” Kyle said. Before Jane could respond.

Kyle placed a finger across her lips to stop her from speaking because he didn’t want an answer right now.

No, he wanted her to think about it and left the house soon after to undertake the task given to him by that strange man but not before checking on Jasmine.

“I would hope so with the day I have planned,” Kyle chuckled.

“You and I both…” Jones responded, already sighing.

“I never said you looked good,” Kyle responded and this caused Jones to laugh out loud.

They were getting along but this was partly because Kyle didn’t hold him to it.

Kyle understood the situation best but this was the least of his problems.
