“What nonsense are you spouting?” Ye Liu questioned and in response to his offended tone, Yu Dong was even more offended. She dropped her head and looked at the mer looking more than affronted.
She said, “I am speaking nonsense? You are the one who is speaking nonsense! I just asked whether the mer was pretty because I could not understand why so many women would willingly hand over grains to him.”
The situation was not as good as it was in the past. What were these women doing handing grains to a mer who sold his body? Was he that good-looking or skilled in bed that these women were willing to die in his bed?

No sooner did she finish speaking, than the mers all turned to look at her and stopped her at once. They all were glaring at her as if they would skin her alive if she left the house.
How could they not stop her? That mer was so sticky and greedy. If Yu Dong were to go and handle this matter, that mer would definitely try to enchant their wife with his sly tricks.

Ye Liu and Chen Mi did not say anything when they heard their wife’s words. One of them took the silver carp to gut it while the other one took the bucket of small fish to pickle them.
