Chapter 3452: Ridia’s Decision
’Any trackers?’ Roan asked Sister Orb as soon as the stone appeared in the Dimensional Realm.
[None that I can identify, at least,] which Sister Orb answered. With that, the stone was left in a corner and forgotten for the time being.
Amaranca left the sect a few minutes later, having received a call from Lotan, just like Rean said she would. She just smiled, not very concerned. Since Lotan didn’t make any requests regarding the secret, it was obvious Rean had a way to keep Lotan silent. For her, that was all the elf race needed.
Back in the twins’ residence, Roan returned to the Dimensional Realm. Rean and Kentucky followed, and they started to cultivate again. Whether the Destiny Attraction would bring another bomb to them soon or not, they didn’t know. But one thing was certain, they truly felt like they avoided making things complicated this time with the elves’ case.
For the years that followed, nothing much happened. The preparations for the sect to move continued in the shadows, only those who had signed the contract allowed to know anything. On the outside, the sect continued its work without any changes.
Rean, Roan, Rifindio, Kentucky, Ridia, and Zangeshu. Their cultivation improved nonstop, although the twins and Kentucky were still the slowest ones. Even Zangeshu easily surpassed them.
Roan had predicted Ridia would take another twenty years to reach the Elemental Space Realm, and he got it almost correct. She got there after 24 years. Ridia could have cultivated faster, but because Ridia became quite a big deal in the sect for those of Earth and Wood Element Affinity, she was given a lot more tasks. It was especially so since she was a Direct Disciple of a Core Elder.
Nonetheless, Ridia turned out to be the first member of their group to reach that realm in this Universe... while the twins were still stuck in the Peak Stage of the Sky Void Tempering Realm. They took 45 years to go from the Initial Stage to the Late stage, so it made sense they only went up a single stage in these 24 extra years. Not only that, but they had just reached this stage a few years ago and would take much longer to attempt a breakthrough into the Space-Bending Realm. Or that was what would happen if they continued at this speed.
However, the twins’ group had no intention of continuing to cultivate like that. After all, they had completed the system’s quest. They helped Ridia reach the Elemental Space Realm. Not only that, but Kentucky and Roan also taught her a lot about combat, survival, and things like that. Let’s not even mention the things she learned from her master in the sect.
---
"Are you ready?" Roan asked with a serious expression. At the moment, their entire group was gathered in Rean’s residence.
They all looked at Ridia, who understood the weight of that question. "Yes. Father is waiting for me, and it was because he trusted your word that I managed to grow this much in such a short time. Above all, just the idea of becoming the representative of a continent and receiving its blessing is not something I could ever ignore."
Back then, the twins heard from Gian how each continent had a representative, and that representative received that continent’s blessing. As long as they had it, they were pretty much invincible in that place, not to mention the various other benefits of cultivation and development.
Rean raised his hand. "Ridia, it is true that we agreed to send you back to Gian after you reached the Elemental Space Realm. However, it is also your own decision to really go or stay. You spent most of your time here in the Divine Snow Mountain Sect, and you barely have any memories from the Qlonvi Continent. Do you really wish to go back? Are you sure this wish of yours is not because of that branch Gian gave you when you were a kid? He said it himself. That branch would be a great help to your development, but it would also guarantee you would come back one day. I do find it a little suspicious."
Roan glanced at Rean. They had to send her back since they also gave their word back then. Yet, he couldn’t force himself to ignore the girl. He played a big role in her development, after all. That’s why he didn’t say anything.
Yet, Ridia seemed resolute. "I want to go back. Regardless if this decision of mine is due to the branch’s effect, I don’t think I’m on the losing end. Even the Divine Snow Mountain Forest isn’t as good as receiving the blessing of a continent."
"Well, that’s true," Rean smiled in response. The girl had become quite ambitious. Nothing wrong with that, of course. She could grow stronger faster if she truly received the blessing. It’s just that she would need to participate in the trial for that. The trial was something Gian had to put in place to decide who would be the next Qlonvi Continent Representative. (Chapter 3326)
Roan got up and began to make his way out. "She has obviously reached her decision, so it is up to us to go deliver her to Qlonvi Continent. Let’s not waste time here. Let’s go."
Everyone else nodded. Of course, there wasn’t really a need for them all to go together. Instead, they sent Rifindio, Ridia, and Zangeshu into the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. In fact, Rean went back inside as well, leaving only Roan and Kentucky outside.
"So you will be the one traveling back with me? I thought it would be Rean as always," Kentucky commented.
Roan shook his head. "He said he had a few ideas he had to test with Zangeshu about those Divine Sense Runes of his. Since it will take a while to reach Qlonvi, I decided to let him work."
"I see..." Kentucky didn’t mind. At least he didn’t need to go back to cultivate for a while. "Then let’s go to the Teleportation Center."
