Inside the Orian Guild, the presentation was going as normal. There were those placed on the first ground floor looking at things going on, enjoying their peaceful day.
For them, this was a rest day. It wasn't as if their presence was needed, but they were more so there just to make sure things went smoothly with the event.
On the second floor, there were those that were just waiting peacefully, even yawning as it was going on a little longer than they expected.
"I wonder when this will end?" One of the Orian Guild members said.
"Fear the Unseen," a voice whispered in the right side of his ear.
The Guild member quickly turned his head, but a dark palm filled with magic already latched right onto his face, destroying every part of it.
"For we are always near," the Dark Guild member said as he pulled his hand away, looking at the dead mage that was now on the floor.
"ARGHHHH!" screams were heard coming from the other side, and immediately, Azbeth along with the rest of the crowd looked up.
They could see on the second floor, a large number of people dressed in dark robes had entered the scene and were fighting head-on, taking out most of the Orian Guild members by surprise and in a single blow.
One of the men was standing on the second floor, holding onto his arm. He had been hit just by the side but managed to avoid a deathly blow."Fireball!" The man shouted, shooting out the attack.
At the same time, the man in a robe waved both hands in the air.
"Dark Void!" Dark magic swirled, and as it hit the fireball, it was breaking it apart into nothing but particles, and right after he was done, he placed his hand forward.
"Dark Pulse!" A beam of energy shot out and broke right through the barrier of the mage, hitting the man in the chest. He slowly walked backward as his back hit the guard rail.
"What type of magic... breaks through a barrier that easily?" were the last man's words as his body toppled over, and he fell crashing onto the first floor.
"What's going on!" The parents and students were startled as they quickly stood up in their seats and started to huddle together.
"Is it some type of attack? We have to call the police quickly!"
"Right, they're attacking the guild members one after the other."
"But who could do such a thing, and aren't the Orian Guild meant to be one of the strongest?"
Azbeth was watching the situation as he saw the doors blast open, and immediately, large amounts of mages in hoods had burst inside.
The Orian Guild were quick to act as well, as they fired back at those attacking them.
"Give support to the mages on the ground; the ones on the second floor are done for!" Azbeth ordered, his hand swinging out.
"Magic swordsmen, you stay with me; we will move as a unit!" Azbeth ordered.
Azbeth moved forward, pushing from his feet, using his Wind magic to shoot him from the stage and onto the ground. He swung his sword of lightning down and struck the dark pulse about to hit one of his men.
With his other hand out, he fired fireball after fireball towards the men in robes. They had huddled up and started to form their Dark magic together, creating a large barrier of sorts. "This is... I didn't believe it, but seeing it up close like this. This is Dark magic?" Azbeth realized. "How can there be so many users who have learned forbidden magic, and they have even gathered together?"
The combined Dark magic shield faded down, and then they cast their spells back at Azbeth. His men by his side swiftly moved in front with their swords lit up, hitting the attack, while Azbeth thrust his sword forward.
"Quick Strike!" The lightning zapped out of the tip of his sword and had impaled right through one of the Dark Mages. It connected to two close to him, and immediately three of them fell to the floor.
"This is not good; we are going to have to help out as quickly as possible," Azbeth thought. "The mages, they were all attacked by surprise and have no idea how to deal with Dark Magic!"
The general public were in a panic as they were witnessing a large amount of mages die before their eyes, and the tactics that were deployed had made them sick to their stomach.
A few of the mages were firing Dark magic down the hallways, where the other mages that were in the rest of the building were meant to enter from.
In the first place, there were far too few, and it was because they almost all had already been eliminated beforehand.
When some mages made it close, there were other Dark Mages waiting on the side of the door, ready to trap and attack them from the other side.
Immediately, some started to use casting magic to display what was happening to the outside world. They had taken out their magical devices to continue filming and had attempted to call the police, but who knew how long it would take until they got there.
Azbeth and his two sword mages by his side were the only ones that seemingly were making a difference, as they continued to slash through Dark Mages bit by bit, with support from the stage until...
The mages on stage felt something stab them right from behind. When they looked down, it looked almost like a dark tentacle had exited out from their stomachs as it pulled back. All of them fell to the floor.
"Azbeth!" a voice shouted out.
Azbeth stopped with his two warriors and turned to the stage.
"You should look around; the situation, it's clearly done and over with!" The man on the stage was none other than Harvey, who had a large, physical dark shadow hovering over his
back.
It looked like a creature out of a nightmare was behind him on that stage, but what was even worse was the fact that when Azbeth looked around, only he and the two by his side were now
alive.
"Why do this? Who are you guys!" Azbeth shouted.
Harvey was inwardly smiling and stared at the people who were filming him, who were
broadcasting his every word.
"I thought you would never ask; we are the Dark Guild!" Harvey claimed.
Wind, fire, and lightning were three elements that Azbeth was good at, and for him, it was the perfect combination to go with his magic swordsmanship.
