Chapter 3659 - The Divine Devan Race and the Virtue Pantheon

As soon as Mu Tianyuan passed down his order, the Taboo Ocean completely loosened and began expanding. It had ceased its constriction of the Soulfiend.

“Good, now you understand pain. You specters are nothing but brainless brutes. Against my orderlies, you’re no more than pigs or dogs. If you don’t leave now, you’ll die!” Mu Tianyuan mockingly sneered.

“What... did... you... say?!” Zi Zhen suddenly lowered her hands from her head, revealing her fiendish visage. On the eye on her forehead, two pupils had turned from purple to the black of the abyss.

A torrent of deathly energy leaked out from her body, and her body made crackling sounds as her astrons underwent a massive transformation. Her gaze became even more menacing.

Jin Xiao, who had recovered and retreated to a safe distance, loudly shouted, “Goddess! He said you’re ugly! A tigress! I just heard it!”

Mu Tianyuan was stunned. Did I break their brains? What even is that nonsense? He glanced around and noticed that, during the brawl, some of the orderlies had actually been killed by the aurumites and his rage soared further. “Show no mercy! Exterminate these beasts!”

Then he abruptly felt an overwhelming sense of danger from behind. He spun around sharply, and a cold chill crept through his heart for some reason.

“All those words... you said them, didn’t you?” The hoarse voice of the specter echoed around Mu Tianyuan.

“So what if I did, you ugly freak?” Mu Tianyuan let out a cold chuckle. To him, the round, gourd-shaped physique of the orderlies was the shape of perfection itself. By comparison, Zi Zhen’s body of scales and spikes was the polar opposite, grotesque and barbaric.

“Hm?” Mu Tianyuan noticed that four of the specter’s pupils had turned black.

He didn’t realize that it was the greatest number of ninehall eyes Zi Zhen had ever opened. Initially, her sole purpose had been to save someone. But now, when her terrifyingly ferocious gaze locked on to him, her intentions boiled down to a pure murderous desire.

“What’s going on?” He felt an immense threat to his life. From the corner of his eye, he saw Di Tang and Jin Xiao gleefully watching from a distance. Then the two shamelessly fled the scene to slaughter other orderlies! His sense of dread deepened.

“Just a bluff!” he growled, swiftly reacting. His single eye split into nine swirling vortexes that flew out and manifested as nine hellish eyes hanging in the air around Zi Zhen. Mu Tianyuan poured soul energy into the eyes, which abruptly opened in response. The purple soul storms within transformed into a million purple dragons that rushed at her!

Each dragon was unavoidable and inescapable, and they all carried soul-annihilating power!

The orderlies’s combat strategy against specters was simple: strike first, and kill the enemy in that one blow!

Mu Tianyuan sneered, “No matter how strong you are, you can’t escape our absolute domination of the soul!”

One dragon after another bombarded Zi Zhen’s head!

“Haha—what!” Mu Tianyuan’s laughter froze and his body stiffened, his expression turning grim. He witnessed the dragons being devoured by the abyssal darkness of Zi Zhen’s four pupils. She merely furrowed her brows and no longer cried out in pain or displayed signs of weakness.

Despite the countless dragons assailing her, her savage, bloodthirsty glare made Mu Tianyuan’s heart skip a beat.

Sure enough, Zi Zhen’s fury exploded. She waded into the storm of dragons, directly smashing through the nine eyes’ soul assaults. Not even Di Tang would have survived passing through those void eyes, but Zi Zhen broke through them in an instant!

A massive purple figure, nearly the same size as Mu Tianyuan, appeared before him in a flash. Before he could scream, a claw pierced through his rotund body while her spear-like tail stabbed through his eye and emerged from the back of his skull! Simultaneously, tens of thousands of barb-covered steel-like strands of hair drove into him.

Zi Zhen finished it off by opening her bloody maw and tearing a chunk of flesh from him.

Only then did Mu Tianyuan unleash a bloodcurdling scream.
