ATTICUS’S ODYSSEY: REINCARNATED INTO A PLAYGROUND

Chapter 1086 - 1086: Gifted Monster [Ko-Fi Bonus Chapter]

But Avalon was in the middle of a breakthrough. Transporting him now could disrupt the resonance and shatter the process.

Which meant…

‘I have to move the mansion.’

Without hesitation, Atticus shot upward, breaking through the reinforced roof in a blur and appearing high above the mansion.

His aura flared outward, wrapping around the entire Ravenstein estate.

With a thought, the space responded to his call. The space molecules shifted and obeyed.

The entire mansion blipped out of existence and reappeared high above, floating just behind him, suspended in the sky like a drifting fortress.

BOOM—!

Just then, a massive pillar of fire burst from the underground chamber, piercing the sky in a blazing inferno that split the clouds. The shockwave followed it, rippling across the air.

A flicker of lightning cracked beside Atticus, and in the next second, Magnus appeared.

“What’s happening?” he asked sharply, his expression filled with confusion.

But Atticus didn’t answer right away.

He only smiled, his eyes fixed on the sky, where a figure floated within the storm of fire, his aura blazing like the sun.

Then, he said calmly…

“Your son is entering the Paragon rank.”

Magnus’s eyes narrowed sharply, then widened.

He turned his gaze toward the sky, and with a single probe of his perception, he saw it.

‘How?…’

His eyes trembled, struggling to process what he was witnessing. There was no doubt. This wasn’t an illusion or trick.

It was Avalon.

And that, that was a breakthrough into the Paragon rank.

Magnus was shocked. Beyond shocked. He could not think of what to say.

He just couldn’t fathom how this was possible.

Avalon was only just over sixty. In all of Eldoralth, it was a well-known truth that Paragon was a rank reached only after immense time and training, usually after a century of grueling effort. Even that assumed the individual had the talent to begin with.

Only Atticus had ever shattered that limit, entering into the Paragon rank in his teens, defying logic and reshaping the beliefs of the people of Eldoralth.

That was the monster the world had come to know.

But now?

Now someone else was doing it. Someone Magnus knew well. Someone who shared his blood.

His son.

Suddenly, multiple streaks of light burst through the sky, each cutting across the air.

The other Paragons of humanity had arrived.

In the current state of tension across the human domain, even the smallest fluctuation of power was enough to draw their attention. But this, a breakthrough of this scale, this was practically a beacon too loud to ignore.

“Magnus! What’s happening?”

Thorne was the first to arrive, considering the fact that he was just a domain away. The others appeared moments later, their expressions already dark. Were they getting attacked?

But Magnus didn’t speak at once. He simply looked up at the storm of fire. His eyes were calm now, and he uttered a single word.

“Paragon.”

The others turned swiftly to the origin of the phenomenon, and as they extended their senses, probing deeper…

Their eyes shot open, trembling with disbelief.

“How is this possible…” Thorne muttered, barely able to form the words. He echoed the thoughts of every paragon present.

But even as the others stared at the miracle unfolding in the sky, Magnus was no longer looking at Avalon.

His gaze had shifted.

To Atticus.

Atticus, who hovered calmly with the same easy smile on his face. When he felt Magnus’s stare, he turned and met it, and smiled wider.

Magnus’s lips curved slightly, as he exhaled lightly before shaking his head.

‘Of course.’

He understood now. Deep down, he knew.

Atticus had something to do with this.

The one who performed the impossible like it was routine. The one who made miracles look mundane.

The monster humanity had been gifted.

The blaze of fire above them reached a crescendo, painting the sky in hues of orange and red as the inferno danced wildly.

By now, the other Ravensteins had gathered around the spectacle, their faces turned upward in disbelief. Even Anastasia and the Three Stars, who had been in the Ravenstein control room, had appeared at the scene.

The moment Atticus felt Anastasia’s presence, he reached out with a thought, and she vanished from the ground and reappeared beside him in the sky.

Anastasia turned sharply and threw Atticus a look filled with questions, but Atticus simply lifted a finger and pointed upward, motioning for her to remain calm.

And so they all waited.

Time passed slowly as the firestorm began to die down, folding inward.

And then, from within the fading flames, the figure was finally revealed.

His body radiated an intense golden light, brimming with energy. His white hair now flickered like living fire, glowing, animated.

He hovered mid-air, glowing so brightly he looked like a second sun cast against the blue sky.

And from his very being poured an aura that every single person present recognized without needing words.

An aura of supremacy. Of completion.

The unmistakable presence of a Paragon.

Avalon Ravenstein.

Every eye locked on him, stunned beyond measure.

Mouths parted. Minds froze.

And yet Avalon… he only grinned.

He moved.

It wasn’t teleportation. It wasn’t flight. It was fire. Flickering. Instant.

One moment he was in the sky. The next, he stood before Atticus.

Even Anastasia, Lyanna, Sirius, and Nathan, hovering nearby, instinctively shifted back from the searing heat that clung to him like a mantle. It was not oppressive. But it demanded respect.

Only Atticus remained still.

Avalon reached out and placed both arms on Atticus’s shoulders, his eyes locking onto his son’s with nothing but affection… and gratitude.

Then, without hesitation, he pulled Atticus into a tight hug.

“Thank you, son.”

His voice was low and filled with heartfelt emotion.

Atticus didn’t respond immediately. He didn’t need to.

He simply closed his eyes and let the moment settle, hugging Avalon back.

Still, his mind never stopped working.

War was coming to the human domain, it was inevitable. And this time, Atticus was hell-bent on making sure that he annihilated every single one of his enemies.

As soon as the Aegis Shield vanishes, he will shake the whole of Eldoralth.
