Lin Fan didn’t waste any time in telling her what they found.

While listening, Haku couldn’t help knitting her brows.

Though from time to time, she couldn’t help looking at Rokuko as if she was worried that she would have some kind of reaction to this. The descriptions of the beasts were quite disgusting after all.

Only what Haku didn’t know was that Rokuko had already seen these experiments before.

Rokuko had been there when Lin Fan had raided the research labs on the cultivation continent, so it was only natural that she had seen the things that he brought back from those labs.

That included the experiments that had some gruesome details.

She might have been a bit affected the first few times, but she had gotten used to it. So it wasn’t as if she would be affected by just a simple description of these things.

But Haku didn’t know this and had been worried about her.

Once she saw that Rokuko was fine, that was when she turned her attention back to what Lin Fan had described.

She didn’t rush to give her opinion on this matter and instead started asking questions.

“How many exactly did you see?”

“Who was it from the Kalos Empire that you saw?”

“Do you know any of the researchers that were there?”

Instead of the normal Haku that Lin Fan knew, this was a Haku that had the full majesty of the empress of the Laver Empire. This was someone who was clearly anything but normal.

So Lin Fan answered the questions as best as he could.

Once it seemed like Haku was satisfied with the answers that she received, she suddenly fell silent.

There was this look of thought that was on her face as if she was figuring out what to do next, so there wasn’t a single person that said a word while they waited to see what Haku would come up with.

After a long silence, Haku finally looked back up and she looked at Lin Fan to ask, “What are you planning to do?”

She didn’t say what she thought about this and directly asked Lin Fan what he thought about this.

Lin Fan didn’t say anything either as he looked right at her, almost as if he was trying to see through her.

Seeing this, Haku just calmly said, “I want to know what you’re thinking so I know how I want to do this. I have my ideas, but if you’re not thinking the same thing, then I’ll change them.”

Lin Fan was very surprised to hear this.

After all, in a sense, this was acknowledgement from Haku.

She was someone that looked down on Lin Fan and didn’t like him because of his relationship with Rokuko. But even with this prejudice, it wasn’t as if she couldn’t see the information that he had.

He knew far more than she did about the organization that was behind the research facility, so it would be better to work with him on this matter. And if he didn’t want to do anything, then it would be more troublesome for her to take down this organization.

That was why Haku wanted to know what Lin Fan was thinking.

However, seeing the look on his face was a bit annoying for her.

“Don’t think that I care about what you think. If it wasn’t for the information that you had, then I wouldn’t care about you at all.” Haku made sure to say this out loud so that it was an established fact.

Lin Fan simply gave a calm nod in return without saying anything.

However, the look on his face was as if he was thinking about something as he looked back at Haku.

After another long silence, Lin Fan finally said, “I’ve already come up with my decision a long time ago, it’s just that there’s something that I’m worried about since it involves you.”

Haku slightly knitted her brows when she heard this as if she was displeased that Lin Fan was saying this about her. However, she didn’t explode as she could see the way that Rokuko was looking at her.

Instead, she calmly asked, “What is it?”

Lin Fan paused for another moment before saying, “I’m not going to hold back any longer. I’m thinking about going all out to destroy the Kalos Empire. I was afraid previously that if the Kalos Empire was destroyed, the Laver Empire or the other empires would just swoop in and take control. If that happened, then it would be even more dangerous if you were to invade the cultivation continent.”

“You’re not thinking that now?” Haku asked with a teasing smile.

Lin Fan looked at Rokuko before turning back to say, “I think that I have a way of dealing with it if it does come to this. Not to mention I’ve seen things in the Laver Empire that give me confidence to do this.”

“Tch.” Haku clicked her tongue when she heard this, but she didn’t say anything in response to this.

Instead, she changed the topic by saying, “Aren’t you thinking too highly of yourself? The Kalos Empire is one that has existed for a long time, do you really think that it’s something that easy to destroy?”

Lin Fan wasn’t insulted by this as he calmly shook his head to say, “I know that this is the case, but I’ve been able to see quite a few weaknesses in the Kalos Empire in the time that I’ve been here. I’ve already figured out quite a few ways to cause trouble for them as long as I use the power of the Laver Empire and I’m sure that you’ll cooperate since you want to deal with them as well.”

Haku narrowed her eyes to look at Lin Fan, but she didn’t argue this. Instead, she just said, “Even if you do this, do you think that this would be enough to take down the Kalos Empire? It’s something that even I haven’t been able to deal with all this time.”

Lin Fan calmly shook his head again before saying, “I know, but there are people that are smarter than me.”

Rokuko responded this time by revealing a smile, but then she looked at Lin Fan with a worried look. It seemed that she was worried that he would say something that he shouldn’t say.

However, since Lin Fan had already made up his mind, he knew that he couldn’t keep this hidden any longer.

“I’ll be bringing some people over to help us take care of this matter.”

“Bringing people over? What do you mean by that?” Haku was confused by these words.

After all, as far as she knew, Lin Fan shouldn’t have anything that he had hidden from him. She knew that the only thing that he had were the things in the second dungeon that Rokuko made.

So the people that he was talking about were the people that she should have already met.

But since Lin Fan had made his decision, he was going to reveal it.

“I can bring my people over from the cultivation continent.”

Haku’s eyes immediately opened wide in disbelief when she heard this before she narrowed her eyes to look at him as if she was trying to figure out if he was being serious or not.

Seeing Lin Fan look right back at her with a calm look on his face, she knew that he was being serious about this.

But the fact that he was serious made it really hard for her to believe it.

After all, she had never heard of something like this.

Even when Haku brought Lin Fan and Rokuko over to the magic continent, it was something that had been accomplished with great effort. Even for someone of her level, it definitely wasn’t something that could be done that easily.

Though she did prepare a way to send them back just in case because she was worried that Rokuko would be angry with her for trapping them here.

However, Lin Fan had never asked for this even though they had been on this magic continent for a while now.

It was only now that Haku realized why he never complained.

He had solved the problem on his own, so he didn’t actually need her help.

That was why he had accepted the circumstances as they were and took the land for the dungeon. It was all so he would have a place to hide all of this from her…

There was a part of Haku that was angry at Lin Fan that he had done something like this, but there was also a part of Haku that was impressed by the fact that he could do something like this.

After all, it was something that even she couldn’t do that easily.

However, it wasn’t the time to think about this.

After another long moment of silence, Haku said, “Fine, bring your people and let’s see what they can do about this.”

Lin Fan was a bit surprised that Haku would leave matters like this that easily, but he also could understand why she did that.

It was simply because this wasn’t the time to talk about this.

There were more important things to take care of.

She was still the empress of the Laver Empire, so she had to care about her people. Even if it was all because she needed them to provide her with DP.

Though a part of Lin Fan could tell that this wasn’t the reason why she cared about these people.

She had ruled over them for a long time now.

It was only natural that she would feel this way.

With that, it was settled that they would be destroying the Kalos Empire.
