WHAT? SYSTEM WANTS ME TO STEAL MILFS TO BECOME STRONGER!

Chapter 212 - 212: Arriving At The Capital, New Sub Quests

Receiving no response, Weishang snorted coldly, “You dare ignore me? Perhaps I need to pluck more of those filthy feathers to remind you of your place.”

The white wings trembled more violently, but still didn’t part.

He retrieved a palm-sized black jade talisman from his Space Ring and activated it with a flick of his finger.

Instantly, the formations carved into the wooden floor flared to life, emitting a dark green light that crawled up the prisoner’s wings like venomous snakes!

“AGGHHHHHH!!”

A terrified cry of pain escaped from behind the wings as they involuntarily shuddered and partially spread, revealing glimpses of long silver hair matted with dried blood.

Crack! Crunch!

Sounds of bone breaking echoed throughout the dim room as the prisoner writhed in agony.

The wings spasmed unnaturally, revealing more of the silver-haired figure beneath.

Through the gaps between the feathers, one could glimpse a feminine face contorted in pain, tears streaming down pale cheeks.

However, the wings still refused to fully part, clinging desperately to whatever remained of the prisoner’s dignity.

Blood dripped from where the formations’ energy burned into the feathers, sizzling as it hit the stone floor below.

After a moment, Scholar Zhu spoke, “Your Highness, it’s life force is quickly weakening. If we push too far, I’m afraid…”

Weishang immediately stopped, his face darkening with frustration. If this thing died because of his torture, then it would be too late to use it for his plans.

“This Fourth Rank Soul Lock Talisman can barely control it anymore,” Weishang observed with a frown, tucking the black jade talisman back into his sleeve, “Its resistance grows stronger each day.”

Yet his eyes shone with excitement; the more he watched, the more he desired to make this creature’s power as his own!

At this moment the winged creature’s breathing was ragged. The wings trembled continuously, small feathers drifting to the stone floor like snowflakes!

Weishang walked closer to the energy bars, saying coldly, “Such a shame. If only it would cooperate, I would not need to damage such a valuable treasure unnecessarily.”

“Don’t worry, Your Highness. I have already sent someone to buy a Sixth-grade Talisman from the Black Market,” Scholar Zhu spoke.

He nodded, and took out few high rank healing pills, throwing them through the energy bars. The small jade-green pills clinked against the wooden floor, rolling toward the prisoner.

“Eat these. I need you alive and somewhat healthy for what’s coming,” Weishang spoke ruthlessly, his lips curling into a cruel smile.

The wings parted slightly, revealing a thin, dirty hand that trembled as it reached for the pills.

Weishang then turned away from the cell and began to climb back up the stone steps.

Scholar Zhu’s eyes glinted for a breath, before he quickly followed the Crown Prince up the stairs.

“I’m surprised that with Elder Zhu’s personality, you asked me to stop!” Weishang asked as they returned to the main deck.

“Haha, even though that thing injured me during its capture, how can I ruin Your Highness’s future?” Scholar Zhu responded in a respectful tone.

Weishang smiled in satisfaction, “You’re one of the few I can truly trust, Elder Zhu.”

“I don’t deserve such praise,” Then Elder Zhu suddenly asked, “Your Highness, are you sure you want to fully entrust this task to this guy? He is the reason why Her Majesty killed the Fifth Prince.”

At this moment Weishang reached his own room and stopped, “Of course not. I have also made contacts with other Empires’ top talent.”

“But what if they spread word of our plan to their respective Empires?” Elder Zhu asked.

“They wouldn’t dare now that I leaked my identity as a Disciple of the Supreme Sect. Now they want to win my favor at any cost,” Weishang replied with a smile.

Elder Zhu nodded thoughtfully. He bowed as the Crown Prince entered his chambers.

As he turned around, Elder Zhu’s lips curled into a disdainful smile, ‘Hmph! I still don’t understand why Lord wants to use this little prince.’

In the days to follow, Lucian spent most of his time on refining the Demon Emperor’s weapon, and meditating in his room for most of the day.

There were five Soul Nurturing Pills in the bottle that Crown Prince had gifted him.

It took Lucian nearly half a day to refine one pill.

However the nourishment his soul received could barely be noticed.

Because each time he consumed one of the pills, he felt his Gluttonous Innate Fate activate, devouring nearly 90 percent of the pill’s energy as if it were treating the foreign essence as poison!

So in the end, only 10 percent reached his Infant Soul – not nearly enough to make a significant difference in its growth.

He smiled coldly, but on the outside, he appeared completely normal.

By the third day of their journey, he had consumed four Soul Nurturing Pills. He saved one pill for the Empress to examine. He was curious if there was more to the story or if Weishang had simply given him some low-quality pills in the hopes that he would not notice.

Also the Demon Emperor’s weapon had been refined more than halfway!

The ethereal body had mostly transformed, responding to his Nascent Soul stage Spiritual Energy.

Furthermore, two new Sub Quests appeared on his Status Panel,

On the tenth day of their journey, Lucian stood at the bow of the Royal Ship, watching the landscape change beneath them.

They had left the mountainous regions behind and were now passing over vast grasslands.

Occasionally, Lucian would spot small mortal villages nestled between small hills.

In the distance, he could see a vast ancient city like some primordial beast ready to awaken from its slumber.

At the north side of the city was a vast river flowing towards south. The river was nearly two miles wide from one side to the other.

Right now there were no boats or ships on the water because yesterday’s heavy rain made the river surge fiercely.

Based on Azure Sword Sect’s information, this was actually only a small branch of a larger river that began from the vast sea, splitting the continent into Eastern and Western Territories.

“Impressive, isn’t it?” Crown Prince Weishang’s voice came from the side, “The Dragon’s Tail has nourished our Capital for nearly five thousand years.”

Soon both of them began to share pleasantries as the Flying Treasure neared the vast capital. Lucian behaved as if he had never read the description of the second Sub Quest.

The closer they got, the more Lucian realized just how vast the Royal City truly was!

It was nearly twice the size of the mortal island he had transmigrated in!

The city was bustling with activities below. Strangely, Lucian noticed that, aside from the Royal Guards, there were no other Cultivators flying above the city.

Soon the Flying Treasure slowed as it approached the vast Imperial Palace, a majestic structure that towered over the city like a mountain!

At this moment, Iris appeared in the sky, suspended in mid-air before the Royal Ship.

Her long hair danced in the wind, and she wore a flowing blue robe embroidered with golden threads that formed patterns of moons and stars, giving her an ethereal appearance.

Weishang nodded at Iris and turned to face him, saying, “Sect Master, you should meet Royal Sister now. We will have another dinner soon.”

Looking at Iris, Lucian smiled gently.

He first gave Weishang a fist salute and then flew out of the Energy shield with a single step.

When he finally reached Iris, she spoke indifferently, “Follow me…”

She was about to fly towards her personal palace when suddenly, without caring, he directly pulled her into his embrace!

His arms encircled her slender waist, and he inhaled the intoxicating scent that emanated from her sexy body.

Her beautiful face immediately turned red and she tried to push away, eyes looking nervously at the Royal Ship where her brother and his guards undoubtedly watched.

“W-what’re you doing? So many eyes are upon us!” She spoke urgently.

Yet she didn’t push him away, her curveceous body softening against his despite her “protests”.

“Haha, Sect Master is indeed wild and unrestrained!” Crown Prince Weishang’s voice echoed from the Royal Ship, carrying a hint of amusement that didn’t quite reach his eyes.

Iris’s face burned even hotter. Her fingers clutched at Lucian’s robes.

The servants and guards watching from below had already begun to whisper among themselves!

“Let’s go to your palace,” Lucian whispered against her ear, his warm breath sending a shiver down her spine, “I’ve missed you.”

Iris could only helplessly point in the direction of her Palace as Lucian swept her up, cradling her against his chest.
