"And I'm guessing they used neither of them?" Lin Mu inquired. "The third alchemist then."

"Indeed. He's an independent Grand Alchemist and is a Transcendent Immortal too… a very strong one," Daoist Chu said with a hint of reverence. "He's survived four entire Transcendent Tribulations and has been alive for over a hundred thousand years!"

"What!?" Lin Mu was shocked. "Even with the additional lifespans from the Transcendent Tribulations, he shouldn't be able to live that long, right?"

"You're forgetting he's a Grand Alchemist. Who knows how many longevity pills, fruits, and herbs he's consumed," Daoist Chu chuckled. "He's called the Long-Lived Pill King for this reason," he revealed.

"Okay…" Meng Bai said in a disappointed tone.

"Best not learn too much about things that are beyond your reach," Monk Hushu said. "It will only hamper your own path," he advised.

"Alright," Meng Bai accepted.

"Focus on the now, look down," Lin Mu said, pointing below. "We're almost there."

In the time it had taken them to converse, they had already reached the edge of the city and could see its beautiful infrastructure.

"Whoa…" Seeing it up close, Meng Bai was enthralled once more, and Lin Mu's trick at distraction had worked great.

"Let's land outside the city, Shrubby," Lin Mu said, sensing the arrays that prevented flight here, unlike the Ram Orchard City.
