62 CALL ME MASTER
Bai Chen didn’t want to die. He didn’t want to die, and that was why he used the opportunity to start a new life in this world. He didn’t want to die, and that was why he decided to continue on missions even though he knew that they weren’t easy for him.
He didn’t want to die, but Zhu Ge could easily ask if he wanted to be killed at the Beast Hunting Event. Who wanted to be killed? Bai Chen only wanted to complete his mission, and that was why he agreed to participate in the event.
“What do you know about the event?” Bai Chen finally found his voice as he asked the man in red a question.
Zhu Ge could tell that the event was dangerous, and he guessed that the man knew more about it than he did.
“Everyone in the human empire knows about the event,” the taller man replied. “This event is held every year, and it is always the hottest topic during the event. I know a lot about it.”
The event was between humans and werewolves, and maybe even the commoners knew about it. Bai Chen was busy searching for more information about the royal family in Dong Lang, and he didn’t have time to think about the Beast Hunting Event.
He actually didn’t know where he could find more information about the event. He thought that he could find some information in Wenxue Pavilion since there were many books in the pavilion, but he wasn’t sure if it would be enough if he just read a few books to prepare for the event.
Books could give him some knowledge, but he needed more than just knowing if he wanted to survive the event. He had to prepare physically, and maybe he should learn to fight too.
Perhaps he would need someone to help him prepare for the event, and since Zhu Ge had just told him that he knew a lot about the event, he might be able to seek help from the man.
.....
“You know a lot about the event? Then, can you tell me more about it?” Bai Chen didn’t find it strange for him to ask the taller man that question.
The real Bai Chen in this world had never participated in the event, so it wouldn’t look suspicious if he seemed clueless about the matter of the event. Therefore, he could casually ask Zhu Ge a question.
“Mhm,” the man nodded his head in response to the question. “I can tell you everything I know about the event, but there will be a price for it, Your Highness.”
A dirty whore would always be a dirty whore, and Bai Chen should have expected that a prostitute would charge him a fee. He could also guess what kind of payment the man wanted from him, and that was why he stared at the taller man flatly.
“Forget it,” Bai Chen spoke grimly. “You don’t need to tell me anything, and I’ll just ask Ma Qiao about it. I’m sure he knows a lot about the event too.”
Getting ready to leave the man in red, Bai Chen couldn’t move any further because his wrist was suddenly caught by a hand. Even if he didn’t turn his head to check on the person who just grabbed his wrist, he knew that it was Zhu Ge who did it.
“I was only joking,” the taller man tried to explain. “I’ll tell you everything I know, and you don’t have to pay me. I’ll do it for free.”
Hearing the word ‘free,’ Bai Chen was finally willing to turn to Zhu Ge. “Why did you suddenly change your mind? Don’t you want me to pay with my body?” He asked the raven-haired man.
That was predictable. From the start, Zhu Ge was attracted to his body, and he knew that the man’s mind was still dirty until now. He did transmigrate and become a gay Werewolf Prince now, but he wouldn’t sell his body to another man so easily.
“I’m not like that!” Zhu Ge denied the accusation, and Bai Chen openly rolled his eyes. Seeing how the Prince couldn’t believe his words, Zhu Ge continued, “If you wish to participate in the event, then you must train yourself under a master, and I believe Ma Qiao will not be able to do that.”
Frowning in confusion, Bai Chen asked again, “So, you want to say that you will be my master? You want me to call you master?”
If Zhu Ge wasn’t aiming for his body, then Bai Chen could only think that the man wanted something else that was also nasty. Calling someone ‘master’? It sounded like they were role-playing, and the image that popped into Bai Chen’s head was that of BDSM.
And maybe his guess was right because Zhu Ge suddenly smirked at him. “It’s not bad to call me master, right? I also have my own master, and I can make you my disciple if you want,” he replied proudly.
Hearing Zhu Ge’s proud reply, Bai Chen’s heart fell. He was a Prince in his new life, but a prostitute wanted to take him as his disciple, and he even had to acknowledge the slut as his master.
It was more than just a disgrace, and it reminded him of what happened in his past life.
[“You dare to look at me like that? I’ve already given you food, and I’ve also prepared a place for you to sleep, but you still dare to look at me like that?”
A hard yank on his hair, and his head automatically jerked back from the tug. Tears started to build up in his eyes, but he forced himself not to cry because he knew his tears would not be able to change his fate.
All he could do was bite his lower lip to hold back his sobs, and his lips even started to bleed from what he did.
Unfortunately, the person who was still holding onto his hair didn’t seem to care about that, and that person even shouted in his face once again, “Now bark and call me master, or I’ll slice your body and roast it as I did to my other dogs!”]
In this strange world, not only did the people in the empire disrespect him, but even a prostitute looked down on him. He realized how difficult Bai Chen’s real life was, and that was no different from his past life. Both he and the real Bai Chen in this world only received insults from others.
Bai Chen felt a sting in his heart, but he closed his eyes for a moment before pulling his hand away from Zhu Ge’s grip. “I don’t want to talk about it anymore, and you’d better leave now because I want to take a quiet bath,” he said as he finally managed to walk away from the taller man.
Zhu Ge was a bit dumbfounded, but then he tried to chase after the brunette prince. “Your Highness! I’m only joking, okay? I won’t force you to call me master, so don’t be mad at me!”
Zhu Ge walked right behind him as he tried to explain, but Bai Chen pretended to be deaf as he didn’t say anything in response to the man. He ignored the other man as he entered the bathroom, and after the bathroom door closed, Bai Chen couldn’t hold back his tears anymore. He started sobbing.
