Villain Ch 1041. Turn On The Imperial March!

Gerry was laughing, clearly enjoying Allen’s reaction. He leaned in closer, dropping his voice to a conspiratorial whisper, though the mischief was still plastered all over his face. “C’mon, man. She needs to know about this,” he said, his eyes gleaming with amusement. “You need to announce to her that you’ve got seven girls who are better than her. Plurals!

She better regret it.”

Allen groaned internally, rubbing his face with his hand as if that could somehow hide him from the situation. “I know, but not with the loud announcement, okay?” he muttered, glancing around the gym. A few people had glanced their way, but it seemed most had returned to their workouts. Still, the last thing Allen wanted was to create a spectacle. “This is way too cringey.

I feel like a monkey in a circus,” he added, shaking his head.

“But this is one of the best ways to tell her!” Gerry insisted, his voice barely containing his excitement. “You know how she is. She’s always going around, talking to people, asking about you, spreading whatever little bit of gossip she can find. She’s going to hear about it sooner or later.” He paused for dramatic effect, a sly smile creeping onto his lips. “I prefer soon.”

Allen cringed again. There was no denying that Sophia had a way of worming herself into conversations around the gym. She had this annoying habit of making sure she knew every little thing happening in his life. He could see her subtly interrogating the other gym-goers, trying to keep tabs on him. So, yes, Gerry had a point—she was going to find out about the seven girlfriends eventually.

But Gerry’s methods? Allen wasn’t sure he could handle that level of boldness.

“I don’t know, man,” Allen said, his voice a mix of frustration and hesitation. “Making an announcement like that feels… wrong. And super cringe.”

Gerry threw his head back and laughed again, clearly loving every minute of this. “Oh, come on, Allen. Think about it. We’re not just talking about telling her—you’re making a statement. You’re letting her know that she missed out. Big time.” He leaned in again, his grin wide and devious.

“We have to make her bite the dust, bro. You’ve got the perfect revenge story right here, and you’re just gonna let it slide?”

Allen knew Gerry was right—he had his promise to the girls and himself about it before. Still… the idea of making such a public spectacle of it felt… tacky. And despite his devilish persona in-game, Allen had never been the kind of guy to flaunt anything like this in real life.

“Look, I promised the girls and myself I’d handle things here, take over the gym, make things better,” Allen began, thinking through his words carefully. “But this kind of public thing just isn’t me. It feels like rubbing it in, and that’s not what I’m about.”

Gerry looked at him for a second, tilting his head thoughtfully. Then, a sly smile curved his lips once more, and Allen could practically see the gears turning in his friend’s head. “You say it’s not you, but look at what you’ve got going for you, man. You’re literally living a life that most guys dream about. You’ve got a real harem there, and you’re acting like it’s no big deal.

Meanwhile, Sophia is out there probably still thinking she had the upper hand.”

Allen winced. It was true—Sophia had always been the type to assume she was the one in control, the one who had the final say in things, even after they broke up. There was a part of him, a small but persistent part, that wanted to show her just how wrong she had been. But did it have to be like this?

Gerry interrupted his thoughts with a dramatic flourish of his hand. “Join me, man,” he said, his voice dropping into a deep, theatrical tone. “Join me… to the dark side.”

Allen couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity, despite himself. Gerry was quoting one of the most famous movie villains, and somehow, it fit the ridiculousness perfectly. Still, he shook his head. “You’re really milking this, huh?”

“Of course,” Gerry said with a wink. “Because you need to embrace it. You’ve got power. Real power. And this isn’t about just flaunting what you have—it’s about setting things right. You deserve to let her know that you’re thriving.”

Allen sighed, crossing his arms as he mulled it over. He understood where Gerry was coming from. There was something deeply satisfying about the idea of letting Sophia know she hadn’t won, that her manipulations and gossip hadn’t defined his life.

But the thought of making a public spectacle of it, of standing in front of the gym and announcing his relationship status like some kind of victory speech? It felt too much, too theatrical. Allen wasn’t that guy. Or, at least, he didn’t want to be that guy.

Still, there was a part of him that wanted to bite back, to show Sophia—hell, to show everyone—that he was thriving in ways no one would’ve expected. Especially her. And Gerry, as irritatingly persistent as he was, had a point. The news was going to spread eventually. Why not take control of the narrative?

“Fine,” Allen finally said, his voice steady but laced with reluctance. “I’ll join you to the dark side.” The words felt strange coming out of his mouth, but there they were. He saw the grin spread across Gerry’s face, smug satisfaction lighting up his features.

“You won’t regret this, bro,” Gerry said, clapping Allen on the back like he’d just made some monumental decision. “We’re about to make history.”

“I already regret it,” Allen muttered under his breath, but Gerry either didn’t hear him or chose to ignore it. He could feel the embarrassment creeping up his neck, the heat rising as he prepared to do something completely outside his comfort zone. He hated being the center of attention, but if there was any moment to embrace it, this was probably it.
