VILLAIN MMORPG: ALMIGHTY DEVIL EMPEROR AND HIS SEVEN DEMONIC WIVES
Chapter 1024 - 1024: HickeysVillain Ch 1024. Hickeys
“Anyway,” Emma continued, folding her arms across her chest in a mock display of sternness, “lunch is ready for all of you. So get dressed and come downstairs quickly before the food gets cold. Kai’s been working hard, and I don’t want it going to waste because you all decided to have some extended morning afterparty.” She turned on her heel, giving Allen one last exasperated look over her shoulder.
“And make sure you don’t forget to put on a shirt this time,” she added with a roll of her eyes before disappearing down the hallway.
Allen watched her go, a small smirk playing on his lips. He knew she was playing the part of the annoyed little sister, but there was something endearing about the way she fussed over him and the girls. She cared, even if her way of showing it involved setting off smoke alarms and scolding him like a child.
He turned back to the room, finding all the girls staring at him with a mixture of amusement and sly grins. “Well,” he said, clapping his hands together. “You heard the lady. Lunch is served. Let’s get moving.”
The girls exchanged knowing glances, clearly still reveling in the playful teasing they’d been giving him all morning.
Shea leaned back against the wall, a smirk tugging at her lips. “Are you sure you want to go downstairs for lunch, Allen?” she asked, her tone dripping with mock concern. “I mean, are your knees okay? You came so much last night… We wouldn’t want you collapsing halfway down the stairs.”
Allen rolled his eyes, but he couldn’t help the small smile that formed on his lips. “I’m fine,” he replied, waving off her concern with a flick of his wrist. “My muscles are a bit sore, sure, but I can still walk and stand up without any help.”
Vivian chimed in, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “Fine, just tell us if you need a hand to hold on to—or, you know, if you need one of us to help you walk,” she said, her voice a playful purr.
Jane giggled, reaching out to gently poke his side. “Or maybe we should just carry you down. You know, like a king being carried by his loyal subjects.”
Allen laughed, shaking his head at their antics. “I think I’ll manage,” he said, his tone light. “But I appreciate the offer.”
The girls began to move around the room, getting themselves ready. They pulled on their robes and gathered their scattered clothes from the floor.A few of them exchanged quiet laughs and whispers, clearly enjoying the lingering scent of the night’s activities that still clung to the room.
Zoe, her nose crinkling slightly, turned to Allen with a teasing grin. “We probably should freshen up a bit before heading downstairs,” she suggested, running a hand through her tousled hair. “We all kind of reek of you, you know.”
Allen raised an eyebrow, feigning offense. “Hey, my smell isn’t that bad,” he protested with a chuckle. “In fact, I’d say it’s rather pleasant.”
Bella laughed, rolling her eyes. “Oh, we’re not saying it’s bad, Allen,” she teased, her voice light and teasing. “But it’s definitely… distinctive. And right now, it reeks of sex. We can’t exactly go downstairs smelling like a bedroom after a wild night, can we?”
Allen smirked, his gaze sweeping over the girls with amusement. “I don’t know,” he mused, rubbing his chin as if deep in thought. “Might make for an interesting lunch conversation.”
Larissa giggled as she adjusted her robe, tightening the belt around her waist. “Yeah, maybe we should walk in, sit down, and see how long it takes for someone to comment,” she said, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
Vivian shook her head, a grin spreading across her face. “Please, they’d know in an instant,” she replied, a playful lilt to her voice. “Kai would probably have a heart attack.”
Allen chuckled, imagining the scene. Kai was always so composed and professional; it would indeed be a sight to see him caught off guard. But he also knew they couldn’t push it too far. His father might be out playing golf, but there were still plenty of staff around who wouldn’t appreciate them flaunting their antics from the night before.
“Alright, alright,” Allen conceded, raising his hands in a mock surrender. “Maybe a quick freshen-up isn’t a bad idea. We don’t want to scandalize the entire mansion.”
Shea stood up and stretched, her robe falling open slightly before she adjusted it. “We could take turns in the bathroom,” she suggested, glancing around the room. “Or maybe we could just use the guest bathrooms down the hall.”
Alice nodded. “Good idea. They will see how messy we are even before lunch,” she said with a sarcastic laugh. “Let’s all go in together; it’ll be faster.”
The girls agreed, moving toward the bathroom in a cluster. Allen watched as they disappeared into the bathroom, giggling like a bunch of teenagers sneaking into the locker room after hours.
He turned back to the mirror in his room, catching another glimpse of himself. His reflection stared back at him, his hair was tousled in all directions, his face still flushed from the remnants of sleep, and a satisfied, almost boyish smile lingered on his lips. He looked happy—happier than he had felt in a long time. But as he looked closer, he noticed something else.
A smattering of red marks along his neck and shoulders trailed down his chest.
Hickeys. Lots of them.
“Ugh… that’s why Emma said I need to cover up,” Allen muttered under his breath, his fingers tracing over the marks. He could almost hear Emma’s voice in his head. Not that he regretted it, of course. But still, he needed to be more mindful—especially with his sister lurking around.
He’d need to figure out how to cover these up before heading downstairs. Maybe a high-collared shirt or a scarf would do the trick, but that felt a bit too obvious. Overdressing would definitely raise some eyebrows, especially since it was just a casual lunch. On the other hand, a simple t-shirt would expose the hickeys all too clearly.
He needed something in between—something that wouldn’t draw attention but would still provide enough coverage to hide the marks.
