VILLAIN MMORPG: ALMIGHTY DEVIL EMPEROR AND HIS SEVEN DEMONIC WIVES
Chapter 1021 - 1021: You Don’t Always Have to be The Strong OneVillain Ch 1021. You Don’t Always Have to be The Strong One
Allen reached out, taking Jane’s hand in his, then Larissa’s, until he was holding each of theirs. “I don’t know what I did to deserve all of you,” he said quietly, his voice filled with a mix of gratitude and wonder. “But I’m glad you’re here.”
Jane squeezed his hand, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. “You don’t have to do anything to deserve love, Allen,” she said softly. “Just being you is enough.”
Zoe nodded in agreement, her smile gentle and reassuring. “We’re with you because we want to be. Because we care about you. Not just as a leader, but as a person. As someone we love.”
Allen had always thought love was something he had to earn, something he had to fight for. But they were showing him that love could be simple, unconditional, and freely given. That it was okay to be vulnerable, to let his guard down, to trust.
He took a deep breath, feeling a sense of peace settle over him. “Thank you,” he said, his voice steady now. “For everything. For helping me see that it’s okay to let go. That it’s okay to… just be… me.”
Vivian leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to his forehead. “We’re always here for you,” she whispered, her lips lingering against his skin. “You don’t have to pretend with us. You don’t have to be anything other than who you are.”
Larissa nodded, her fingers gently brushing through his hair. “You’re more than enough,” she said. “And we’re here to remind you of that every day, for as long as you need.” She knew Allen would need this due to his trauma and trust issues.
Allen’s eyes fluttered closed at their words. His heart filled with a mix of emotions he could hardly name. For so long, he had carried his own expectations, of always needing to be the one who was one step ahead, the one who had it all together. But now, in this intimate moment, he realized that he didn’t have to carry that burden alone. That he didn’t always have to be the strong one.
He opened his eyes, looking around at each of them, his gaze softening with affection. “I don’t know what the future holds,” he admitted, his voice low but firm. “But I do know that I want all of you in it. Just like this.”
The girls smiled. They knew how hard it was for him to say those words, to open himself up so completely. And yet, they also knew that this was a turning point that they had all been hoping for.
Alice leaned down, her lips brushing against his. “We wouldn’t have it any other way,” she murmured, her voice filled with warmth. “We’re with you. Now and always.”
Bella poured a glass of water from the pitcher on the bedside table and handed it to Allen. “So trust us, okay?”
Allen took a sip. He managed a small, grateful smile. “I’m starting to,” he admitted. He placed the glass back on the table beside the bed, his gaze drifting back to the women who surrounded him.
Jane smirked, leaning closer to him. “You know, you look cute when you’re all vulnerable like this,” she teased, her fingers brushing lightly against his arm. “Maybe we should keep you this way more often.”
Allen chuckled, a light, easy laugh that came from somewhere deep within him. “Is that so?” he replied, raising an eyebrow. “I thought you liked me better when I was in control.”
Vivian grinned, shifting closer to press her lips to his cheek. “We like all sides of you,” she murmured, her breath warm against his skin. “But it’s nice to see the softer side every now and then.”
Larissa laughed softly, her hand trailing down his skin in a gentle caress. “I bet you never thought you’d be surrounded by seven women who just want to pamper you, huh?” she teased.
Allen smiled, shaking his head slightly. “Not in my wildest dreams,” he admitted, his tone light but sincere.
Zoe leaned in, a playful glint in her eyes. “Maybe we should make this a regular thing,” she suggested. “You know, just to remind you that you don’t always have to be the tough guy.”
Allen rolled his eyes, but there was a smile on his lips. “Oh, I see how it is,” he said, his voice teasing. “You’re all just trying to make me soft.”
Alice giggled, her fingers gently tracing patterns on his shoulder. “Maybe a little,” she confessed with a grin. “But only because we care about you.”
Shea smirked, leaning over him. “Don’t worry. We’ll still let you be the boss most of the time,” she teased. “But every now and then, we’re going to remind you that it’s okay to relax.”
Bella gently nudged him with her shoulder. “So, are you going to let us take care of you more often, or do we have to fight you for it every time?” she asked, her tone light but earnest.
Allen sighed dramatically, but his eyes were sparkling with amusement. “Fine, fine,” he relented. “You win. I’ll let you pamper me… occasionally.”
The girls cheered softly. They teased him a bit more. He could feel the genuine affection, the love that flowed so freely between them.
Then, one by one, they leaned in closer, wrapping their arms around him, their bodies pressed against his in a comforting embrace. The warmth and the steady rhythm of their breathing lulled him into a calmness that he hadn’t felt in a long time.
Allen’s eyes grew heavy, and he felt a deep sense of peace settling over him. He looked around at the women surrounding him, their eyes drifting closed, their expressions soft and content. He could feel the steady beat of his own heart, the slow, even breaths of those around him.
‘If this is a dream,’ he thought, a small, contented smile on his lips, ‘I hope I never wake up.’
His eyelids fluttered shut. The last thing he felt was Jane’s hand’s gentle squeeze in his, Vivian’s breath against his cheek, and the soft, comforting Larissa’s head resting on his shoulder.
And then, Allen drifted off into a deep, restful sleep…
