The Sims: I Open the Immortal Path for All Beings

Chapter 1383 - Chapter 1383 Chapters 1330-1331 Life Simulation—Cruel World_2

Chapter 1383: Chapters 1330-1331 Life Simulation–Cruel World_2 Chapter 1383: Chapters 1330-1331 Life Simulation–Cruel World_2 Because the current Realm was the most suitable one, once a breakthrough to the Divine Fire Realm occurred, it would be somewhat too conspicuous, especially considering Pei Xuanjing’s circumstances at the time.

If Cultivating the Spirit was stepping onto the path of cultivation, and Communicating with God was perceiving the world and using a part of Divine Abilities, then igniting the Divine fire was truly transcending the ordinary and possessing most characteristics of Gods.

This Realm had already been known as: Demigod.

Those living beings who ignited the Divine fire, their combat power was already sufficient to contend with Gods. What distinguished them from Gods was the lack of a condensed Divinity suitable for finding a Divine Position.

And, those Demigod Strong who ignited the Divine fire were actually quite rare even in this era where humans and Gods lived together. Most or even every one of the Demigod Strong who had ignited the Divine fire already qualified to ascend to a Divine Position. They would garner the attention of the Gods, and each had a clear provenance.

Even within those kingdoms, such powerful beings stood at the pinnacle, wielded authority, could establish their own families, found their own tribes, or become rulers of their territories.

If Pei Xuanjing were to enter this world with such a status, it would be rather abrupt. Although it wouldn’t necessarily bring disaster, it would easily attract the attention of many powerful forces, becoming the center of attention, especially since he was of the human race.

This was not the situation Pei Xuanjing hoped to see. Regardless of how he would act next, Pei Xuanjing’s personality tended more towards keeping a low profile so as to do certain things before having sufficient strength to face everything.

Pei Xuanjing was also born innately within this world. However, he was of the human race, and he fashioned his own identity as the sole survivor of a tribe he encountered that had been accidentally annihilated.

Such annihilated tribes were numerous in this world and did not amount to much. There were many legendary strong who rose from insignificance. Although they might not have the chance to ascend to a Divine Position, they had still created quite a name for themselves. Therefore, Pei Xuanjing’s background was nothing extraordinary.

However, one point of inconsistency was that Pei Xuanjing’s race was human.

In this world, Gods resided above all, born with innate powerful strengths. Then All Tribes coexisted, but the human race was only an insignificant branch, chiefly because up to now, only Demigods at the Divine Fire Realm existed within the human race, with no true Gods holding Divine Positions to govern them.

Those who forged legends, many of them were descendants of All Tribes; although from weaker tribal backgrounds, strong individuals had appeared among their ancestors and could be called Divine descendants, it was only because of lineage and bloodline evolution.

Although Pei Xuanjing scoffed at the notion that a strong bloodline alone could shape a strong individual, it was undeniable in this world that Divine descendants, carrying the bloodlines of Gods, naturally held advantages in cultivation over ordinary beings.

For ordinary beings, entering the path of cultivation was exceedingly hard, yet Divine descendants, because of their bloodline, could naturally connect with the world, cultivating the Laws within their ancestral bloodline and wielding formidable power.

In the present age where humans and Gods coexisted, what was referred to as ‘people’ did not mean the human race, but instead, the ‘human’ amongst the three realms–heaven, earth, and human–broadly applying to all beings of All Tribes who have not yet entered the Deity Realm.

Among All Tribes, it was generally divided into two categories. One was made up of races with Godly ancestors, inheriting the power of Gods, possessing vast potential. Even if their bloodline was diluted in later generations, they still had the opportunity for a Bloodline Revert Ancestry, and they were known as the God Clan.

The other was races like the humans. Despite their vast numbers, they lacked strong individuals to lead them; all their cultivation was due to personal effort, unable to be passed on to successors, nor able to prosper the race. These races were known as the Mortal Clan.

Of course, amongst countless races, such a crude division into God Clan and Mortal Clan was simply a blunt method of categorization. Within it, the God Clan was split further into Imperial Clan, King’s Clan, and ordinary God Clan based on the strength of their Godly ancestors; and the Mortal Clan also had its own upper and lower divisions.

Regardless of how these internal divisions existed within God Clan and Mortal Clan, it was undeniable that God Clan and Mortal Clan were not of the same kind. Most of the world’s strong originated from within the God Clan, while the emergence of a strong individual from the ordinary Mortal Clan was a beacon of hope, potentially leading their race to leap forward.

Those top God Clans might not care, but for the ordinary members of the God Clans, especially those who were already hovering on the edge between the God Clan and Mortal Clan, the emergence of a mortal with the potential to ascend was an immense threat to them.

The division of interests between heaven and earth is unchanging; whenever a member of the Mortal Clan shows promise of ascension, their rise inevitably impacts the interests of the existing God Clan.

It is not just race but also amongst the Gods themselves. Unless a God is so powerful that they do not fear any threats, the ascension of later Gods, particularly when the Divinity Laws they condense are the same, inevitably leads to conflict over Authority.

In this respect, the struggles for Laws Authority among the Gods of this world are somewhat similar to what is currently being developed in the new world by the Heavenly Court of the Divine Land World; the conflicts between the Great Emperors and the Great Ancient Emperors are just like this, with no possibility of easing on either side.

Even the conflicts between the Gods can be more intense and cruel than those between the Great Emperors and the Great Ancient Emperors. After all, if these great rulers descend from their Realm, admitting defeat still leaves them with a chance to survive.

Once a divine war breaks out between Gods, there is no possibility of compromise between them. The Laws and Divinity are the very foundations upon which Gods stand; losing them means their destruction, and the victor can strengthen themselves by plundering the defeated’s Divinity Laws.

Although there is a Divine Court in this world, after all, it is not the Heavenly Court. If we say that the Heavenly Court of the Divine Land World that Pei Xuanjing and his companions have opened up is a powerful institution capable of suppressing conflicts among all strong beings,

then the Divine Court is more like a union, a community of shared interests formed by the union of the stronger beings among all Gods. They can unite against outsiders, but if conflicts arise internally, even the Divine Court cannot suppress them.

The death of a God is not just their own demise; it signifies the decline of their entire race, the fall from God Clan to Mortal Clan, or even extinction by their adversaries.

With the vigilance of those ordinary God Clan members, once they encounter something that might threaten their existence, they won’t hesitate to bully the weaker, disregarding any morality or compassion.

Therefore, when Pei Xuanjing appeared in this world as a member of the human race, his emergence as a Demigod who had ignited the Divine fire could indeed gather more of his race, but it also brought with it countless threats.

Admittedly, Pei Xuanjing himself did not care about the existence of these threats, but he could not afford to be indifferent to the life and death of these people of the human race.

Even though this is a strange world, one experienced in a life simulation, it may not be real, and there is no guarantee that these people and Pei Xuanjing have the same origin.

However, the reason Pei Xuanjing has reached his position today and received the recognition and respect of many strong beings from the Divine Land World, is not just because his own strength is formidable, but also because he has his own moral principles and bottom lines.

Pei Xuanjing can be exceedingly cruel when facing enemies, even if those enemies are also from the human race; if they threaten his interests, he would ruthlessly suppress them.

But if his emergence did not bring any benefits to them, but instead drew deadly threats, that would not be in line with Pei Xuanjing’s modus operandi or his principles.

After all, they are neither disciples of the Shenxiao Sect nor individuals from the human race of the Divine Land World. Pei Xuanjing brought them benefits and they received compensation, so it would be understandable for them to face these dangers when Pei Xuanjing is in peril.

The human race of this world, they are not; at least, for now, they have no ties to Pei Xuanjing, and he is not willing to act in such a manner.

This is not Pei Xuanjing’s way!
