Chapter 1587: Realm Blade
Primordial Chaos missed the opportunity to stop Rowan from reaching the seventh-dimensional level with a single well-placed strike.
Rowan’s ability to detect the Primordial and strike at the perfect moment was not a fluke. In the short moments he had fought Bahamut and observed the movements of Primordial beings, his talent as an unprecedented warrior whose comprehension was unmatched had begun to rapidly decipher the patterns in the flow of battle.
Higher-dimensional beings treated space and time as mere backdrops to their glory, and their movements exceeded the concept of speed and direction. Fighting them required a potent understanding of wielding the higher-dimensional perceptions beyond all known limits.
He had not yet perfected this process; it would take him a long time and multiple battles to achieve such a thing, but Rowan was already on the path, and Primordial Chaos was the first of many to taste his blade.
With what he was capable of, this would be the weakest strike he would ever make. Every successive blow that came from Rowan would always be more decisive than the last.
Rowan had to hide the full range of his talents for a long time. He was like a beggar with the treasure of an entire empire, and he needed to be careful how much he showed, or else he would be robbed of his inheritance.
It was hard to hold back and suffer countless abuses, and with his endurance, Rowan would have been willing to hold back until he had reached the ninth dimensional level, but then Seed killed his maid and murdered his people, torturing billions and making sure that their soul origin perished alongside them.
A line was crossed inside the Land of Miracles that could no longer be backed out.
The time for subtlety was over, and Rowan was determined to no longer hold back. If Primordial Chaos had been aware of Rowan’s mindset, he would have immediately attacked and not wasted any time in trying to negotiate a more favorable position.
Already used to their omnipotence and omniscience, Primordial Chaos and Bahamut could not help but look down on Rowan at the beginning, and he had made them regret that action.
He had his Fate in hand, and his destiny was not far from him.
There was a time when Rowan was patient and willing to turn the other cheek, but that time has passed.
On the day he knew and perfected his destiny, that would be when he became a ninth-dimensional being, and all of Creation, all of Reality, would tremble at his name.
The unique Origin of Fate entered his Origin Land via his dimensional flesh. For an instant, Rowan’s consciousness seemed to freeze, but that was because the sheer amount of information filling it had reached an unprecedented level. The transformation of his flesh went into overdrive.
He unconsciously drew his dimensional soul from his Destroyer to aid him in this moment, and his mind, led by instincts beyond his understanding, began to assess the portions of his strength that he had always been keeping under wraps. It was time to merge and improve.
A part of him knew that a great battle and a profound slaughter was about to take place, and he was readying for it.
In his Primordial Record were various Titles, Plane Shaper, Reality Shaper, Chaos Breaker, Primordial Titan, Realm Forger, Dread Habinger, First Born, Supreme Ancient Collosi, and Warden. There were countless lesser Titles that he had earned, but they were too weak to be merged with his dimensional flesh, and these were the ones who had come out of the multitude as Titles strong enough to grace his name.
In this Reality, it was unknown if there was any immortal who could hold a single Title of this level, because unlike any other immortal, Rowan’s chosen Titles could evolve, increasing their powers and the weight they carried. Even if he wanted, he could not give a single one of his titles to a normal immortal, or they would be crushed to nothing.
Each of his Titles had a power that would turn any immortal if they could hold their weight to the height of Supreme, and even if Primordial Chaos was a fool, seeing the size of Rowan’s soul, he must be aware of the sort of potential he held.
He knew of the potential of Rowan’s previous soul, and although it was great, it was nothing compared to that of a Primordial.
Rowan had the opportunity to see the size of a Primordial’s soul inside Doom Star when he took over the chains that bound the power of time to that Realm, and he saw that the souls of Primordials were nearly infinite in size.
He could not say that his soul was equal to that of a Primordial, but he was still a lower-dimensional being and nearly matched them in certain aspects. It did not take a genius to know that if he grew stronger, so too would his soul, and its capacity would increase as well.
It was this potential that Primordial Chaos saw that astonished the Primordial.
Accompanying his Titles were his unique Aspects, Berserker, his first Aspect that had grown to Tier 7 despite not being actively cultivated by him, and had also been the foundation of building his Reflections.
Lament of Celestials, which was at Tier 5 for so long, the peak of the mortal universal level, and a single step from ascending into the higher dimensions.
With more of the First Flames on hand, there was hope for him to ascend this Flame to a higher level, and with the purification powers that it held, Rowan would make sure that this would happen. The Lost Flame would be getting its much-needed upgrade.
Then there was the Tier 8 Light Devourer Aspect, even Andar that cultivated this power in his soul had barely reached Tier 5 in his understanding of the power of the Light Devourer, and Rowan had deliberately not cultivated this Aspect beyond Tier 8 in order for its influence not to distort Andar’s future understanding of it.
His last two Aspects were at Tier 9: Realm Weaver and Time Wanderer. Rowan only pursued two derivatives from these aspects: the Lost Flames from the Lament of Celestials and the Realm Blade, which was born from Realm Weaver and Time Wanderer.
He would love to obtain more skills from his Aspects, but Rowan believed there was no need for that when he could integrate all the powers from these Aspects into a single skill.
Rowan wanted to keep the Lost Flames pure from the touch of other Aspects, so he was left only with the Realm Blade, and he had already achieved preliminary success with integrating the power of two Aspects into a single skill.
There would be a day when Realm Blade would assimilate all the powers of his Aspects, and Rowan would not stop at this point. Instead, he would begin to assimilate the power of his Titles into Realm Blade, and when that happened, this Era would change.
Seed once showed Rowan a vision of the past, the dawn of the Supreme Era and the End of the Primordial Era.
He had shown Rowan a great blade wielded by the powers of all the Primordials. With the power of this blade, they had ended a Major Era and birthed a new one.
In the creation of his Realm Blade, that vision was never far from his memory.
