Abyss, Wolfie, Sir Totti, and Jaguar stood before Klaus, looking at him with reverent expressions — well, Abyss doesn’t really have an expression, considering his face is made of metal.
Sir Totti also has metallic eyes, so his expression is much more complex than the soft ones shown by Wolfie (Radiant Hound) and Jaguar, Klaus’s personal guard.
He knew Jaguar and his Paragon guards, that are on their way to him, would clash one of these days, considering she had replaced them with Jaguar. But Klaus didn’t want to let such a monstrous person like Jaguar remain idle and do nothing.
He wanted him to follow him on all the dangerous missions he would be going on once he returned to Earth. So he wants him by his side.
Nyxthar and Veylor were still in seclusion; even Fury and Nirvana were still cultivating, considering the Lava pool still had the power to raise their cultivation bases.
“I know you all are happy with your gains,” Klaus said, and the Beast army nodded. Even Abyss’ mechanized head moved.
“Very well. Then we have to get to work.” Klaus pointed in a certain direction. “Abyss, I know how resourceful you are, so why don’t you drill 100 feet deep there?”
Abyss nodded, almost happy, as he moved and started drilling deeper into the ground.
Klaus picked that location because a week ago, when he and Lunara were exploring Mars, looking for more space crystals, he came upon something that, after a careful and detailed examination, he knew must be very valuable, so he wanted to explore it more.
Thankfully, he now has Abyss, who is more than enough to excavate the land and get to what was hidden beneath.
After five hours, Abyss flew out of the hole he was digging, holding a head-sized dark crystal. “Master, it seems there is a space crystal hidden down there. I only dug 60 feet before I came upon this crystal.
But there is something else.” Abyss produced yet another crystal. “This one is a star dust crystal, perfect for metal cultivators to create elemental weapons. Just a single drop is enough to create powerful metal-type weapons.
I couldn’t do much analysis, but I have a feeling that if we dig more in that direction, we will find more of this.”
Klaus nodded, already expecting the outcome with the space stones and the star dust crystal. He never expected to find something like that on this lonely planet.
The star dust crystal came from a star.
It comes into existence in two ways. When a star dies, the dust from it condenses into crystals and falls into the cosmos. Most find their way to some planets, while others drift indefinitely in space.
The second happens due to mutation. The dust from the stars sometimes merges with asteroids, forming star dust crystals. However, this mutation is not always pure, so the outcome is not always ideal.
However, that doesn’t mean the mutation makes it any less valuable.
Just a piece of Star Dust Crystal will sell very well in the universe, so getting even a chunk on this planet means Klaus will have an easier time when he enters the universe to grow his strength.
‘This is good. Not only will I have a treasure to sell when I get out there, but I will also have the means to grow my strength in the process.’
“Keep digging in the direction of the Stardust crystal. Sir Totti, use your metal affinity to excavate the space Crystal. Jaguar, you and Wolfie should help him as best as you can.”
Just like that, Klaus’s beast army started proving themselves useful. And because of their Void stage cultivation, they were easily working their way deep underground.
“It looks like you will be going back to Earth a rich man,” Lunara said, walking across the planet’s red surface, holding his hand.
“That is the plan. Though I already have the means to protect myself and those I care about, having more backup plans will do.
Plus, I have already earned enough here to create some of the most powerful weapons Earth has ever seen. If possible, I want to have more to create even more.”
Lunara smiled, hearing his words. Though Klaus always told her not to worry about him most of the time, she couldn’t bring herself to stop wondering just what goes on in his head.
It was like the way Klaus thought was different from everyone else.
Most people would be arrogant if they had his strength, while some would be content with what Klaus has now. However, despite being the strongest being on Earth, Klaus still wanted to keep growing.
He had even opened up to her the last time and said he would be visiting the other planets. From what he had observed on Mars, he knew these planets would have something to offer, so he wanted to go there next.
However, he also didn’t have much time left, so his next plan was to break through to the Ascendant stage, by which time his soul bodies would form.
This way, he could leave his soul bodies on this planet to cultivate while his main body did other things.
He had a feeling that the moment his soul bodies awakened, he would understand the true use of the doors inside his soul sea. However, he casually told Lunara he had everything in order for now.
She knew the journey would be dangerous, considering the perilous nature of these planets even before the apocalypse. Who knows what will become of him when he steps there?
Three days passed in the blink of an eye, and before Klaus knew it, his beast army had extracted several tons of minerals, with still more to excavate.
Thankfully, two days later, Veylor came out of seclusion, having reached the peak of the Void stage. He joined the beast army, and a week later, every last mineral had been dug out.
Klaus hungrily stored everything away, leaving only a few for Abyss, who wanted the space crystals to create ammunition.
“So, where are we going next?” Veylor asked after they were done with the task given to them.
“We have to visit the moon next and retrieve the next Doom Guard while handling the beasts there. Some will be friendly, others will be hostile, so prepare for some battles.
Others will join us there,” Klaus responded. His friends were already en route to the moon, and the moment they got there, his team would also move from Mars.
A few hours later, he put all his Beast Army and Veylor in the cube and vanished back to the Moon with Lunara using the harem connection.
The awakened warriors of Earth were about to show their strength.
