As soon as they approached the clinic, they immediately attracted everyone’s attention.

Especially Qian Dazhuang, with his burly frame and a face full of coarse features, looked like a menacing thug at first glance. His presence alone sent the clinic’s staff into a panic, and they hurried inside to find Xi Weizhi.

“Excuse me, sir. Please wait! If you wish to see the doctor, you’ll need to take a number and wait your turn!”

Chen Xiao quickly spoke up, “We’re not here for a consultation. We’re looking for the owner of this clinic, Dr. Xi Yue. Miracle Healer Xi.”

“But Dr. Xi left three days ago and hasn’t returned yet! What business do you have with him?”

Chen Xiao replied gently, though his tone betrayed his urgency. “Could we at least take a look at one of Dr. Xi’s medical cases? Anyone will do.”

“What nonsense is this?!” The young staff’s face immediately darkened. “You must be spies sent by the Chen’s Clinic, right? Since you can’t steal it outright, now you’re trying underhanded tricks! Get out of here, now!”

“Who are you calling a spy?” Qian Dazhuang roared at the young staff, his face contorted with anger. Then, in a rush, he tried to push his way inside, shouting, “Xi Yue! Xi Yue! Are you in there? Come out, please! It’s me, Dazhuang!”

He was desperate to confirm whether Xi Yue was still alive.

No matter how many times he told himself that Xi Yue couldn’t possibly have died so easily, the image of that barren mountaintop—where the earth had cracked and the sky had fallen—still haunted their minds like a nightmare.

At that moment, so close yet so far from Xi Yue, he was on the brink of losing all rationality, consumed only by an impulsive, desperate longing.

The young staff tried to block his way, but Qian Dazhuang shoved him aside with a single forceful move.

Just as Qian Dazhuang’s massive frame was about to charge into the clinic, Jin Zeyu’s face turned pale. He shouted urgently, “Watch out!”

But it was already too late. In the small room, a flash of red light erupted, and a chilling aura spread uncontrollably.

A murderous intent, cold and relentless, spread through the entire clinic, as if it was about to tear everything around it to shreds.

With a deafening crash, Qian Dazhuang was sent flying, smashing through the clinic’s main door. He didn’t hit the ground, instead slamming hard into the Chen’s Clinic’s door.

The impact was so intense that even the sign hanging above the door was knocked loose, crashing down and kicking up a cloud of dust.

Qian Dazhuang spat out a mouthful of blood and passed out.

Inside the clinic, a young man in red slowly approached. His face was hidden behind a mask, concealing both his features and his expression.

However, his mesmerizing eyes were visible, gleaming with a faint, eerie smile that sent a chill down the spine of anyone who met his gaze.

Even the young staff from Sumeru Clinic and the newly arrived Anling Yuan couldn’t help but flinch in fear, their eyes filled with dread as they stared at the young man in red.

Xi Weizhi’s gaze slowly swept over the frozen figures of Jin Zeyu and the others. His long, slender fingers, pale and smooth, with defined knuckles, casually brushed aside the strands of dark hair that fell over his face. Every movement seemed to exude a careless, languid charm that was both alluring and unsettling.

However, when Jin Zeyu looked at the person in front of him, he could only feel his legs trembling uncontrollably.

Even when facing a mentor from the Heavenly Medical Valley’s inner sect, or a cultivator in the Tribulation Stage, he had never felt such fear. Fear so overwhelming that not a shred of resistance could even begin to stir within him.

“Dammit, how dare you destroy the sign of Chen’s Clinic! Do you really think the Chen Family is that easy to bully?”
