The dragon's harem

Chapter 1344 - 1344: Creation

Arad soon arrived in the throne room and found Kali and Isabelle waiting for him inside. The moment he took a step inside, his eyes opened wide, and his back flashed with a faint spark of magic. It only took him a fraction of a second to identify Isabelle as an abomination- He was ready to attack.

The only reason Arad didn’t blow the whole throne room away the moment he walked inside was because Kali was there. She could’ve already finished the abomination off if she wanted.

“I see…” Isabelle’s face changed. Her eyes opened just a tiny bit wider, her hair twitched, and her arms shifted. After a second of silence, she burst laughing maniacally, as if something had snapped inside her head.

“I see! The news was true after all, all of that madness, to think it was a reality, not just a passing illusion of a long-forgotten saga.”

Isabelle jumped from her chair, and her body flew toward Arad as if she wasn’t a human. Her legs didn’t move, her hair didn’t shift with the wind, and her smile remained as still as stones. Just seeing her move like that made Arad jump back a few steps, all of his senses screaming that this thing was dangerous, far more harrowing than any horror he had faced before.

Isabelle was a half-halfling and half-angel. She barely reached Arad’s knee in height. Seeing him jump away from her looked like someone fleeing from a cockroach, and it was indeed the same.

Her wings simply opened up. They didn’t even more or flap once, but her body magically shifted its trajectory toward Arad, and she landed on his chest, standing sideways on his large torso.

Arad tried to smack her down, but she easily blocked his fist with her umbrella, the grin on her face never shifting an inch. “What’s this? What happened to him? Kali, you’ve neglected him, didn’t you?”

Kali sighed, “He isn’t going all out, and neither are you. So stop fooling around before somebody gets hurt.”

“Kali! What is this abomination’s deal?”

Kali jumped from her chair, “She is an abomination now, yes, but she wasn’t like this before. She is a fragment of creation. She might be extremely weakened now, but I don’t need to tell her what she could do.”

Arad took a deep breath and used a void step to get away from creation, but she immediately flew at him like a nail to a magnet. Shaking her seemed almost impossible until Arad finally noticed a clue. The common theme among all of the monsters of the world.

His body shifted, and from his side, a void creature, a woman with burning pink eyes- emerged and grabbed Isabelle by the hair, stopping her.

“What do we have here?” The smile on Isabelle’s face grew wider until it reached her eyes, quickly revealing her unnatural, abominable side as the proportions of her facial features shifted beyond human limits. Her eyes looked bigger than normal, her mouth was wider and her nose longer, and even her ears somewhere twisted back and became sharper.

“A fateless wretch, touched by the fates.” She tried to punch Doma but instead was bound to the ground with a curse. “ARAD! The hell is this thing? It’s ripping the fabric of reality, creating a new one that suits her goals.”

“Kali said she is a fragment of Creation.” He then looked at Kali, “What is her deal?”

“Don’t worry, she is just checking you out. Her powers might be tricky, but they are nowhere near her peak or what she should be able to achieve. She isn’t dangerous even if she wants to.” Kali flew toward them, and Doma released Isabelle.

“Once again, I’m Isabelle. You can say that Creation is the opposite of Destruction. I can make things instead of breaking them.” She stood but in an inhumane way. Her body levitated, and her joints twisted in strange ways.

“The only power I got left is the drawing board.” She waved her hands and turned sideways, showing Arad that while her body looked normal from the front, she was as flat as paper from the side to the point she disappeared.

“Drawing Board allows me to shift myself and the space around me back from the third dimension to the second and the first, making it easier to draw, visualize, and conceptualize a reality that doesn’t exist.

She grabbed herself by the hair and pulled her head upward, stretching her whole body. Then, by making her umbrella float around like a pen, she redrew her body to look taller. It only took her ten seconds to finish the drawing, and soon, her 2-dimensional figure inflated back to the third dimension.

Isabelle looked around, inspected her new look, in which she was as tall as Doma, and then smiled, “Could’ve made my chest a bit smaller. Now it’s weighing me down.” She shifted back for a second, made it a bit smaller, and then turned back.

“The hell was that?” Arad could notice a wave of strange divine magic flowing around Isabelle, but he couldn’t understand anything of what she was doing.

“Creation, the whole universe, is my canvas.” Isabelle smiled and sat back on her chair, putting one leg on another, “Destruction over there is the eraser. The fates are the script holders, and Yog is AO’s knowledge, severed from his brain so he can enjoy the show without spoiling it for himself.”

Arad pulled a chair and sat down. It was all too much to take at once. First, Creation, the primordial portfolio they were looking for, was here in the half-angel kingdom- well, a part of her, at least. Her powers are as strange as Kali’s Destruction, but they might be more complicated in practice.

But, what worried Arad more now was the fact she was an abomination. Did that primordial portfolio fall into the wrong hands? Why isn’t Kali doing anything about it? He had a lot of questions, and the one who could answer them, Kali, was here with him.

“First, she is an abomination. Is that okay? Can we just let her go?”
