Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 2024: Yes, yes, I missed you as well.

“Tell me what happened.”

Nux spoke, his voice calm since he didn’t wish to overwhelm Faustina, who was affected by Aeliana’s gaze.

He hugged her tightly and constantly patted her back. The woman only calmed down after a few minutes, and then, after taking a deep breath, she began,

“The Anomaly was gone for thousands of years.”

And that was all Nux needed to understand what happened; he, however, let Faustina continue.

“Since the Anomaly hadn’t appeared for such a long time, the Universe no longer needed a Hero. According to Azriel, the Universe felt threatened.”

“Threatened?”

Nux frowned.

“Of Lord Azriel?”

“Yes.”

Faustina nodded.

“It seemed like the Universe didn’t wish to end up like Yrniel and be dependent on Azriel. However, with the Anomaly roaming wild and destroying it from inside, it had no other choice.

It prepared and connected itself to Azriel; however, after a while, the Anomaly completely disappeared.

It was a good thing, and for the first few centuries, the Universe seemed happy; however, Azriel’s progress was too quick.

Within just a few centuries, he had already reached the Semi Saint Stage, and because he was pretty much doing this for the third time, his Foundation was much, much stronger than any known being in the entire Universe.

The rate at which he was growing, reaching Infinity was only a matter of time, maybe about 2000 years; heck, Azriel even mentioned how he could reach a level beyond Infinity, a level where every being in the Universe could only bow to him,

A level where he could overpower all other Infinities with a mere gaze and… threaten the Universe itself.”

“But he shouldn’t be able to do that, the Universe made sure of that.”

Nux frowned.

“Yes.”

Faustina nodded.

“The Universe formed an interdependent relationship with Azriel so that he would not turn against it, just like Yrniel did.”

Nux nodded at those words; he knew about it.

“But…”

Faustina began.

“Why be dependent on someone when there was no need to?”

Nux narrowed his eyes.

“The Anomaly was gone, the Supreme Worlds were never strong enough to threaten it because they would never be able to work together, the only threat to the Universe was…”

“The Universe’s Child.”

Nux completed his mother’s sentence.

“Indeed.”

Faustina nodded.

“So it started slowing down Azriel’s progress, to a degree where even after thousands of years had passed, more than enough time for Azriel to reach Infinity Stage, he had only managed to reach the Saint Stage and is nowhere close to breaking through.

His body had also started aging, it seems that the Universe was planning on getting rid of him through natural causes by not allowing him to grow any further.”

Nux’s expression turned cold when he heard those words.

“That thing sure is selfish.”

He commented with a smile that did not look like a smile at all.

Just thinking what would have happened if he had been a little late made him tremble in fear; now he didn’t particularly care about his Father-in-law too much, but Aeliana…

He promised he would never let her get hurt again. If her father lost his life, she would have been devastated.

Nux clenched his fists, he closed his eyes and sensed Aeliana’s raging emotions. The woman wanted to meet her father as soon as possible; the only reason she wasn’t causing chaos all over the place was because Shadow was holding her down using her power and influence over Nux’s Universe.

Yes, even Vyriana, who had become a Transcendent, was not a match for the Vampire who seemed to have lost herself.

Nux even wanted to calm her down; however, he knew nothing he said would work here. There was only one way to calm her down,

And that was exactly what he was planning to do.

‘Girls, I need your help.’

He called out and in an instant, Amaya, Felberta, Astaria, and Vyriana appeared beside him, nodding at him.

They were prepared.

Nux nodded back, he glanced at Faustina and,

“I will be back soon, Mother.”

He spoke as he waved his hand, and he and his wives disappeared, appearing in a nearby Middle-Level world.

“Can I go all out?”

Astaria questioned, somewhat excited.

“Sure.”

Nux nodded, and the Swordswoman’s grin widened.

She turned towards the rest of her sisters and,

“The four of them are mine, do not interfere.”

She spoke in a solemn tone as she sensed four Transcendents in the World.

“Whatever.”

Vyriana shrugged. Even though she wanted to test her strength, she would do it later and let her disciple-cum-sparring partner have a go.

Amaya and Felberta nodded as well, both of them were patient women; yes, even Amaya.

With a wide grin on her face, Astaria disappeared and appeared in front of the first Transcendent.

He looked like a human, but his body was woven from living vines, bark, moss, and crystal-like sap. His skin shimmered with green, brown, gold, or deep autumn red. His eyes glowed faintly like embers trapped inside leaves. He wore a crown of thorns on his head.

He had an intimidating Aura around him, and the moment he saw Astaria appear in front of him out of nowhere,

“Who are you?”

He questioned, alarmed.

“You will need your buddies, call them.”

The woman grinned like a maniac as she grabbed her sword.

“You are too arrogant for a huma—”

The being tried to put her down; however, before he could even complete his words, Astaria moved her sword, a wave of energy rushed towards him, an energy that wouldn’t even scratch the vines on his body…

Or that is what he believed.

But…

Slice

His entire arm was chopped off in an instant, the entire process was so smooth that it felt like cutting butter.

“AAAGGGGGGHHHH!!!!”

He screamed in pain; Astaria, on the other hand, just placed her sword back on the ground and,

“Last chance, call your allies.”

She spoke, the wide grin on her face still hadn’t disappeared.

Yes, the Swordswoman was finally strong enough to help Nux and become the nightmare she was meant to be.

The battle between her and the three Transcendents lasted an entire minute before she got bored and sliced them all.

She grabbed their severed heads and brought them to Nux. She even knelt in front of him like a warrior offering heads to her King in exchange for rewards, something that made Nux laugh out loud.

He picked her up and sealed her lips,

Then, he stepped forward and with the possible hindrance now gone, he released his pressure, prepared to devour the World.

And just as he did,

THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER

RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE

The Universe reacted, to which Nux just laughed.

“Yes, yes, I missed you as well.”

The Anomaly was back.
