SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS

Chapter 747 - 747: The War Is Coming!

The news of the impending demon invasion spread like wildfire across the Nine Realms. Every major city, every hidden village, every magical sect heard whispers of the monstrous army that threatened to consume their lands.

The enchanted glass orbs flickered in every household, broadcasting the dire situation. Reports poured in detailing the demonic forces, their sheer numbers, and the horrifying strength of the new Demon Lord, Phillip.

At first, there was fear. The common folk trembled in their homes, uncertain of their fate. But then, something shifted. The fear turned into anger, and anger turned into a burning desire to protect their homeland. Across all realms, slogans erupted:

“Protect our home!”

“Glory to the motherland!”

“All stand with the Dragon Lord!”

The people, ignited by passion, began to mobilize. Thousands of wizards, warriors, and cultivators voluntarily marched to enlist in the army.

Nobles and wealthy merchants who once remained neutral now opened their treasuries, sending their private forces and funding the war effort. Business magnates who had once stayed out of politics were now providing supplies, magical weapons, and armor.

In the capital of the Seventh Realm, the military camp outside the grand palace was swelling in size by the hour. Huge banners displaying the crest of the Sworn Wizards fluttered in the wind as newly appointed generals marshaled their forces.

Madam Clark stood tall on the overseeing balcony, her piercing eyes scanning the thousands of newly gathered warriors. The sheer magnitude of the task before her was overwhelming. Feeding, housing, and equipping such a vast army required coordination beyond anything she had done before. Yet, she did not falter.

She turned to her chief strategist, General Anjan. “We need a structured system. Assign each realm its own division and designate experienced commanders. Get the new recruits trained immediately. We do not have the luxury of time.”

Anjan bowed deeply. “Understood, Madam Supreme. We have already appointed field commanders for each major division. The Seventh Realm’s division will be led by Commander Ragnar directly. The Ninth Realm’s wizards are under the charge of Elder Tang Zi and Jamba Zi. The Sixth Realm has assigned their most seasoned warriors. Every realm is preparing.”

Madam Clark nodded in approval. “And the logistics? Food, weapons, shelter?”

A quartermaster stepped forward. “We are stockpiling supplies. The major trading families have pledged their resources. We should have enough to sustain the army for the initial campaign.”

“Good.” Madam Clark exhaled. “We cannot afford mistakes. This is not just a battle—it is a war for survival.”

As she spoke, another division of battle-ready warriors entered the training fields. From aerial beasts to land battalions, the army was forming faster than anyone had anticipated. For the first time in history, the realms were truly united against a common enemy.

Spirit World…

In the deep confines of the Mystic Void Palace, the Space God sat within his closed chamber, his fingers tracing glowing symbols in the air. Before him, a shadowy figure kneeled, delivering his report.

“The armies of the Nine Realms are mobilizing fast,” the spy whispered. “Madam Clark herself is overseeing the preparations. The entire population is rallying behind the Dragon Lord.”

The Space God raised a brow. “And their numbers?”

“We estimate they will barely reach twenty million at best. They are gathering what forces they can, but there is no indication of any offensive strategy. Their actions seem purely defensive. Their plan might be to fortify the realms and resist the demon invasion.”

The Space God exhaled in relief. “Then they do not know… They still believe they can defend the realms?” He let out a small chuckle. “Pathetic. Phillip’s army alone dwarfs their combined strength threefold.”

The spy hesitated before speaking. “Shall I continue gathering intelligence?”

The Space God pondered for a moment before nodding. “Yes. Watch closely. Make sure that is all they intend. If their only plan is defense, then they are already doomed.”

Demon castle…

Deep within the Demon Castle, in the Obsidian Fortress, Phillip lounged upon his throne, a twisted grin on his face. Before him, his trusted generals kneeled in submission, their ghastly forms shrouded in dark energy. The chamber pulsed with infernal flames, casting eerie shadows across the polished black stone.

A dark mist coiled in the air as the Space God’s projection flickered into view.

“Ah, the almighty Space God,” Phillip drawled, swirling a goblet of black wine in his hand. “What urgent matter brings you to my domain?”

“The 9 realms mortals are preparing an army,” the Space God informed him. “They rally under the banner of the Dragon Lord. But their numbers are insignificant.”

Phillip scoffed. “Insignificant, indeed. They can barely muster ten million? Against my sixty-nine million?” He burst into laughter, his voice echoing through the halls. “What fools! They truly believe they can resist us?”

The generals around him chuckled darkly, their jagged teeth glinting in the firelight.

“I suspected they would resist, but I never imagined such blind optimism.” Phillip smirked. “They are but insects beneath my heel.”

The Space God’s voice remained calm. “Nonetheless, information is power. We should not underestimate them completely. A desperate enemy can be unpredictable.”

Phillip tapped his fingers against his throne. “Then let us humor them. Send our best shape-shifting spies into their ranks. I want to know everything—who leads them, what their battle formations are, where their weaknesses lie.”

“As you command.”

The Space God’s projection faded, leaving Phillip to relish the situation.

“The mortals still have hope… amusing.” He sipped his dark wine, a wicked gleam in his eye. “Let us show them what true despair feels like.”

His generals roared in approval, their laughter mingling with the crackling infernal flames.

As the armies of the Nine Realms mobilized with unwavering resolve, their enemy watched in amusement, plotting their inevitable downfall. Though the people rallied under the banner of the Dragon Lord, they were unaware of the true darkness that loomed ahead. The war was coming. The realms would burn. And at the heart of it all, Kent stood as their only-hope.

But was hope enough against an overwhelming tide of destruction? Can mortals stand against demons?
