Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts
Chapter 1025: Gravity vs CurseChapter 1025: Gravity vs Curse
“What? Do you think I don’t know they’re not from this continent?”
Garam certainly didn’t expect Evelyn to know this information. In fact, he believed that all the people on this continent thought they were the center of the world and they were the only ones alive in this world.
“I give you one last chance. Tell me everything you know about them and I will grant you a swift death.” Evelyn squinted her eyes.
Garam’s face darkened. “You’re overestimating yourself, Evelyn Lavender. You might be talented, but the current you is still not strong enough to defeat me. You appear too quick for your own good.
“As an elder, I will show you the true strength. Of course, the fee for this lesson will be your life. Besides, it looks like even that unique summoner is here… I wonder what will happen if both of you become an alien… I’m looking forward to it.”
Garam and Evelyn waved their hands at the same time. “Attack!”
All six familiars charged forward, releasing their own energy. The world felt like it was shaking as 14 creatures with 10,000,000 ena clashed in this area.
If each of them was like a hero in the divine beasts’ eyes, it meant there were 14 heroes fighting against each other, every single one capable of mass destruction.
Even Evelyn knew they had to leave as far as possible.
Evelyn pulled her hand back, put two fingers up, and waved it as though she were holding a sword.
The wave of energy containing the gravity element flew toward Garam. The latter raised his hand and extended his hand with the black ena, trying to catch it and crush it.
However, right before he could grab the energy, the wave suddenly appeared on the back of the black hand.
“!!!” Garam was startled and tried to jump away, but it was too late. The gravity contained in that energy wave exploded.
Garam felt like the air itself was breaking apart. His body was hit by an invisible house enough to make him think a house was crashing into him with a max speed of a horse.
Garam coughed up blood as his body was launched so far that he bounced several times and crashed into so many trees.
“!!!” His familiars looked worried, but Garam was able to stand back up quickly. He gritted his teeth. He glared forward as though he were staring at Evelyn in the distance.
‘Is that… space element? She teleported her own attack by using the space element, which allowed it to bypass my power and hit me?’
Garam, for the first time, understood the power of two elements. More importantly, it looked like the power of the two elements complemented each other.
Garam stomped the ground as a magic circle appeared underneath his foot.
Noticing this fluctuation of ena, Evelyn hurriedly teleported to Garam, but Garam actually jumped away as if trying to get away from his own power, trapping Evelyn inside.
“Haa!” Garam lifted up his finger, activating the magic circle.
Evelyn stomped the ground with her gravity, trying to break the ground as well as the magic circle, but it was one step too late.
The black magic circle shone and formed a half-sphere that isolated Evelyn from the world before exploding and turning into a tall pillar rising to the sky.
Evelyn suddenly emerged from that pillar, which shocked Garam.
‘What? She’s able to escape from that? No, wait…’ Garam noticed the black energy around her leg. ‘It looks like she is using her leg to withstand that power. But her leg will be weakened for some time…’
After noticing her condition, Garam stood firm in his position and struck Evelyn with his scepter. The scepter unleashed another wave of black energy that would be bad if it touched Evelyn’s body.
Evelyn, on the other hand, had gotten used to this trick. She waved her hand, utilizing her micro control to neutralize that power.
‘Tsk. How is she even neutralizing my power?’ Garam was infuriated. This was the first time he found a power like Evelyn’s, which put him at a disadvantage.
Evelyn stepped deep and punched forward, combining the martial arts she had mastered along with the gravity and space in her hand. She called it Distortion Fist.
The moment she punched forward, it felt like the world itself was bent in an unpredictable way.
Garam’s vision felt like it was getting distorted at first until the distortion was so powerful that the world itself started to crack.
“Kh…” Garam gritted his teeth. Even with his power, he didn’t think he could withstand this power. “Gah!”
The distortion caused a massive burst, first distorting the area behind him before ripping it apart. The trees snapped, the earth was scraped, and the boulders shattered.
While enduring the distortion, Garam activated another magic circle underneath her feet.
“!!!” Evelyn didn’t have enough time to even dispel the curse energy on her leg, let alone handle this powerful magic.
Several magic circles formed from that black magic circle surrounding Evelyn.
“Great Curse Seventh Formation. Depraved Life!” Garam waved his hand.
The magic circle was activated, unleashing a powerful energy. From that strike, all lives were taken away. The ground turned dry and started to crack, the trees withered, and the rocks crumbled into pieces.
The power of the curse was so strong that even Evelyn had a hard time withstanding it.
Garam bit his thumb and let a drop of black blood fall to the ground. Numerous patterns then spread around it. “Haunt the Deep.”
The patterns then returned to a single point and formed a ball before releasing a black beam toward Evelyn, not giving her any chance to return the favor or dispel the curse energy.
Evelyn grabbed the air and ripped it apart as if tearing a paper. The Power of the Depraved Life was ripped in two as the black beam split in two directions, following the space.
Then Evelyn pointed her hand forward and clutched it.
“!!!” Garam felt like his body was being crushed by an invisible hand. He hurriedly released his energy to corrode that force, but this was nothing but a method to buy enough time for Evelyn to remove the curse energy from her body.
By the time he broke free, there was no more trace of curse energy in her body. In fact, Evelyn had snapped her fingers. A pink wave flew in all directions as everything suddenly lost its color, leaving behind only white and black.
“This is… Domain!” Garam’s body shook.
