Strongest Warlock - Wizard World Irregular
Chapter 1090: Clash Of Titans [Part 2]"I see. So there’s someone here who can see me," the Otherwolder, Saxon, who resembled an Octopus, said in amusement.
"I didn’t just see you," Psoglav sneered. "I smelled something fishy and knew that a big fish had come to play."
"I’m not a fish, but sure, I’ll play along with you," Saxon sneered back. "Let’s see if you can still be confident after what happens next."
The Progenitor spread its tentacles wide over its head and began chanting.
A faint spark appeared a few meters above its head, and it soon transformed into a hand-sized portal.
This portal was directly connected to Saxon’s world, allowing him to summon reinforcements directly from his home world.
But before it could even gain momentum and increase its size, it was hit by dozens of magical projectiles shot out by the Magic Cannons of Atlantis.
"Fool. Even if you target this portal, you will not be able to stop it," Saxon said in contempt.
"Who said I’m trying to stop it?" Psoglav asked as more magic cannons attacked the portal. "I’m just killing those who are on the opposite side of your portal. Let’s see if they can cross over to this world first before they cross over to the afterlife.
Saxon finally realized what Psoglav was doing and immediately erected a barrier to prevent the bombardment from killing his brethren on the other side of the portal. However, the barrier he erected didn’t last long, and the Sea God’s Trident shattered it, forcing Saxon to momentarily stop whatever it was doing in order to evade the sneak attack from behind.
"Not under my watch." Sebastian snorted as he controlled the Sea God’s Trident like a part of his body.
"You mean OUR Watch," Ethan’s Other Half, who had merged with Ethan’s clone, said as he appeared and attacked the Progenitor at the same time as Sebastian.
’Damn it!’ The Progenitor, who was being suppressed by the laws of Midgard, wasn’t able to unleash his full powers.
This was also why he decided to open a portal to connect this world and his homeworld. As long as his backup forces could help him buy time, he could infiltrate Atlantis and capture Ethan.
Unfortunately, Saxon underestimated the Defenders and thought that they would not be able to do anything after Leviathan and Nuckelavee left to fight on the front lines.
Faced with two opponents, it decided to go all out and increased its size, transforming into a giant octopus.
"So, you want to fight using true forms, huh?" Sebastian sneered. "Challenge accepted!"
If this battle happened a few days ago, the chances of Sebastian holding out while fighting against a Progenitor were slim at best.
But after Ethan’s Origin Magic Crystal and Bloodline powers were unlocked, Sebastian also received an upgrade to his overall strength, giving him the powers to fight against a Progenitor as long as they were fighting in the sea.
A giant eight-headed Hydra emerged where the Sea God’s Trident was hovering earlier.
It then let out a deafening roar before lunging at the giant Octopus, who had come to capture his current Master, Ethan.
The two giants clashed, sending waves of water expanding outwards.
Ethan’s Other Half was about to join the battle when he sensed another powerful being had appeared on the battlefield.
This time, a Winged Serpent that was thirty meters long, rushed toward Atlantis, prompting Ethan’s Other Half to intercept it first.
It was a Peak Colossi, which could move unhindered almost anywhere.
Unfortunately for it, Midgard wasn’t "anywhere," and there were powerful beings who could smack it to oblivion, including Ethan’s Other Half, who didn’t wish for the young man to be disturbed while he was fighting for the sake of the future.
Just like Sebastian, Ethan’s Other Half had already transformed into his true form, which was a handsome man with a python coiled around his body.
"Where do you think you’re going, Punk?!" Ethan’s Other Half grabbed the tail of his Python and lashed it toward the Winged Serpent like a whip.
The python increased its size until it was as big as the Winged Serpent, which had the strength of a Pseudo-Progenitor.
The two Peak Colossi clashed, sending shock waves flying with every blow they exchanged with each other.
Psoglav, who was now the Commander of Atlantis, gave his order to steer the city away from the battle of the two Behemoths.
Illumina’s Father, King Betram, ordered his army to surround Atlantis and defend it with everything they had.
He knew that, if two powerful beings had already broken through the hole in the sky, it was only a matter of time before more appeared, and they would certainly prioritize targeting Atlantis.
The Armies from the other planes of existence were being decimated by Leviathan and Nuckelavee, intimidating the new arrivals and making them very wary of fighting against them.
Psoglav, who understood that more powerful beings would appear soon, positioned Atlantis between the surface of the sea and its deepest region.
Since the sea served as a natural barrier against those who couldn’t swim toward them, the Demon Dog would be a fool to lose this kind of advantage.
Countless members of the Ocean Races had also positioned themselves in defensive positions around the city, just like King Betram’s Army, ready to fight against those who wished to attack it.
Just as everyone thought that everything was still under control, a ray of light pierced through the surface of the water, and headed straight to Atlantis.
Everything happened so fast that hundreds from the Ocean Races were instantly vaporized by the attack that collided with the barrier protecting Atlantis.
Although the ray of light was strong, the barrier was fortunately stronger, preventing it from even leaving a scratch.
King Betram, who was lucky enough to not get hit by the attack, couldn’t help but shudder when he realized that a tenth of his Army had been annihilated by that single attack.
"Even Turtles who hide inside their shells can still be killed. What makes all of you think that you can escape with your lives?"
A creature with four faces and four wings, hovered above the sea, emanating the power of a Progenitor.
The ray of light came from this being, which made the members of the Ocean Races feel fearful.
"Yadah, Yadah, Yadah," Psoglav replied, cleaning his ear with his finger. "Are you done talking?"
"You’re not even a turtle, so what makes you think that you can’t be killed?" the Minotaur standing beside Psoglav, who went by the name, Erchitu, commented.
"I see fools who are not afraid of death," the four-faced, four-winged creature, who went by the name, Rullion, stated. "Worry not, I will be sending you to the afterlife soon."
Psoglav and Erchitu glanced at each other before laughing out loud.
The other Monsters who had come to help Leviathan also laughed, making the four faces of Rullion wonder if these lowly creatures had gone crazy.
"Sorry to disappoint you, but we are indeed not afraid of Death," Psoglav replied. "After all, we are on the same team as him."
Rullion thought that the Demonic Dog was just buying time for Leviathan and the crazed Abomination, Nuckelavee, to come to their rescue. Discover hidden content at
Knowing that it couldn’t afford to delay, it unleashed another Ray of Light at Atlantis, forcing King Betram and the other members of the Ocean Races to swim away due to how devastating Rullion’s attack was.
But just like what happened earlier, the Barrier of Atlantis remained strong, making Rullion’s four faces contort in anger.
