RE-AWAKENING: I ASCEND WITH A LEGENDARY CLASS
Chapter 344 - 344: Prism Resonant LumeirInside a palace, a goat-headed man bowed towards a man who sat cross-legged on a magical mattress of mythical rank, an artifact.
“Lord Gurran, an adventurer from another world, a peak Epic-rank individual arrived and gave us a challenge. He already defeated all of our strongest Epic-rank adventurers.”
The goat-man swallowed after speaking, looking at the reaction first before continuing.
The man had black fur with a crimson sheen and a head that resembled that of a panther, but humanoid.
Having paused enough and getting no reaction, the goat sighed in relief. ‘It seems I’m not getting thrown out.’
“He said he would take on Legendary-rank powerhouses as well, and…one was already defeated just as easily and then one more.”
“He…also defeated..um, Lord Turesha.”
Lord Gurran finally opened his eyes as they gleamed with a dark gold and crimson radiance.
As he stood up, a faint gust of darkness drifted as he vanished.
Meanwhile, at the center of the city, Almond sat on his Spirit King Throne, a prototype of an artifact he wanted to create but was incomplete for now.
In front of him, a powerful Legendary-rank floated, bleeding from multiple wounds and exhausted.
He was a human, and he had a Mythical-rank Fire elemental mastery. Lord Zebelier, one of the strongest in this world.
The translucence dome surrounding them vanished as the result of their Arena Fight had been decided.
The natives watching below were frustrated, while the people from other worlds watched in amusement, some even taunting others.
“Damn it! Lord Zebelier also lost! How come nothing is hitting him?!”
“He has space powers, but there should be a limit. Lord Zebelier is stronger than Lord Halvin. His flame can break Lord Halvin’s spatial defense, but this person…”
“Only Lord Gurran can defeat him now!”
“Sir Gesto went to get Lord Gurran. He will come.”
“Heh, it seems there aren’t many powerful people in your world.”
“This person is young and Epic-rank, yet you all can’t defeat him.”
“What did you say?! Fucker, accept my challenge and the wager is my life! If you lose, you forfeit your life!”
“Woah woah, calm your tits, man. I am not accepting such a challenge.”
“Pussy.”
“Yeah, you rejecting that challenge says enough about your world. If this guy was in your world, he would’ve smashed your top powerhouses as well.”
“True, this guy is strange. How come his skills are so powerful?!”
“It’s like all of his skills are Legendary-rank and Mythical-rank, like what the fuck is wrong with him?”
Above, Almond glanced at the human he just defeated and faintly smiled, “Come on, bring out the strongest of yours already. Lord Gurran, is it?”
Lord Halvin gritted his teeth as his fiery, long red hair burned brighter.
However, a hint of dread drifted in his eyes along with a feeling.
‘Lord Gurran might lose to him.’
“Lord Gurran is coming here! He left his palace!”
Almond already sensed a strong presence coming, but soon, disappointment flashed in his eyes as his eyes flickered with the power of All-Seeing Eyes.
‘Well, I’ve achieved my main goal of completely exploring the Epic-rank mastery of my Prism Resonant Lumeir. After defeating him, I’ll return.’
Prism Resonant Lumeir was powerful. Aside from the usual Lumeir’s powers that were a mix of Light and Wind’s attributes, this variant had a strangely empowering-type, synthetic effect that could resonate with other energies and bring out unique results.
It worked supremely well with his Sand of Vibrant Waves, and his first product of using these two variant elements together was creating Prismatic Resonance Shards.
A crude product, but it bolstered his defense and offense to a new level by resonating with the enemy’s energies and disrupting them while boosting projectile attacks with extra power.
Almond knew that Vibration and Resonance, the two main conceptual powers endowed within these two variants, were going to immensely help him solidify the style that he had started envisioning after getting this new Lumeir.
He was going to improve a lot in his Arcane Constitution once he returned and accessed his full mental power to progress and create it.
But for now, he had to focus on the present to clear the Grimworld’s Tutorial.
Shortly, a stream of darkness arrived and stopped ten meters across Almond before shaping into Lord Gurran, an individual with semi-bulky, lean muscles and eight feet of height, wearing a warrior’s leather outfit.
‘His Bloodline is strongest so far, at Mythical-rank. The boost it gives him after he uses his Blood Essence must be good. I guess I should enjoy this last fight for five minutes rather than ending it fast.’
Almond smiled and said, “Give me your best shot.”
Five minutes later, Almond waved his hand at the people below while smiling, completely unscathed, while Lord Gurran fell onto the ground as the Arena Fight’s field dispersed.
“Bye-bye, fellow adventurers!”
…
Returning back to his castle, Lily was training with Emma and Natalia.
Emma used a flying dagger and a bow, using her myriad of poisons and projectiles to nail down Lily, using skills of her specialized class, which had attributes of Wind as well as advanced element—Mist.
Her poisons were deadly, and Lily only had a threat from her in case she failed to resist and block.
Natalia supported in buffs as well as attacking with all of her instruments ringing.
However, Lily simply dodged and nullified all of their attacks, overpowering both of them while the duo tried their best.
She was a ghost and a demon with four guardians—the Dreadspire Elements, which she could bring out of nowhere anytime and scare them to death, not to mention her deadly Weapon Art that made it difficult.
“Come on, girl! Enough is enough. I’m done! We just woke up and had breakfast, and you dragged us here!”
Emma had a stern and focused face, not heeding Natalia and attacking Lily with all her might.
“It seems that you three are having fun, haha.”
Hearing his voice, Emma involuntarily trembled while Natalia clenched her head.
“No! Go away, demon! I don’t want to hear your voice again! Aaaaaaaaa!” Natalia rolled on the ground while shouting as yesterday’s hell flashed in her mind with Almond’s voice ringing in their heads about what worse thing he was going to do during boss fights while giving them barely a second to react.
He would suddenly freeze their right hand or suddenly teleport and redirect the boss monster’s attack aimed at a person to a different person with his spatial powers.
It was absolute hell!
“Greetings, captain,” Emma turned to Almond and stiffly cupped her fist.
“Haha, it seems that you two are energetic. We are going to the Labyrinth again after the top powerhouses are done building the facility. It’ll be a big party this time.”
“Noo!” Natalia’s widened, horrified.
“I…I will fight!” Emma clenched her fist.
‘Her will is stronger. Good.’
“It looks like others woke up as well and are freshening up,” Almond said as he scanned the castle.
“You all have slept for over twelve hours, so that’s plenty of rest,” Lily said as she emerged beside Almond from his shadow before smiling at Emma and Natalia. “We will continue training, but for now, Almond and I will spar a bit.”
“What do you say, darling?” Lily grinned, sending an Arena Fight challenge to him.
Almond laughed, “Just what I wanted.”
