Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 817: You Can Call Me KentChapter 817: You Can Call Me Kent
“Looks like the trash has finally arrived,” one disciple said, looking at the flying ship that had just arrived.
It was no secret within the sect that the world in which the sect existed had produced fewer than twenty capable cultivators.
The few they managed to gather, some died, others ascended, but none managed to get recruited into the Crimson Cult.
Other worlds had produced hundreds, and because of that, Sonox was regarded as a trash world by the different worlds out there and even within the Alliance.
So watching them arrive was like the most ridiculous thing to happen in this year’s entrance exams at the Supreme Immortal Sect.
“Seriously, why do they even come? The last time they came, I was told only five out of a hundred passed the exams. They are just wasting slots at this point.”
“Just look at them. They appear like they haven’t seen a floating city before.”
“Can you blame them? They are in a world that doesn’t even know it is part of an alliance. They haven’t been anywhere aside from their homes, so this is a new experience for them.”
Just like that, the ridicule in the air started to spread all over, and by the time Kent and his pals landed on the ground, everyone had something bad to say about them.
Meanwhile, Elder Lance was called to follow the three elders who came to pick them up at the edge of the humming void.
They took him straight to the inner section where Elder Jian was currently held. They both had some questions to answer.
Kent strolled, scanning everyone.
Of course, most were average, while some had some spine in them. But a few caught his interest.
When he saw the Big Three, as people started calling the three younger siblings of three of the five seed candidates for the interplanetary competition, his brow rose slightly.
“They are impressive.”
Kent knew danger when he saw one, and he knew the three were dangerous. However, they weren’t on the level of Uncle Drake, whom he wasn’t sure he could defeat.
But these three, he was sure, he could handle them.
When he found a place and stood with the disciples from Sonox, everyone now focused their gaze on them as if trying to intimidate them.
Naturally, that worked. A few turned pale, having this many eyes on them.
However, those who trained under Uncle Drake stood their ground, looking calmly at them.
This caught their attention, making a few take a step back.
They sensed it—something was wrong, and that something could be sensed from 24 individuals. Naturally, these twenty-four were the ones who reached the 4th floor, and 23 out of them trained under Uncle Drake for a few days.
One of the things he put them through was how to function under pressure. So, he used 20 percent of his aura to train them, and that was enough to keep them composed under the gaze of everyone.
“Tch.”
Princess Elowen chuckled when she saw some backing away, knowing they might just be seeking their doom if they made the wrong move.
Kent, on the other hand, was locked in a fierce gaze with the Widow Empress, who now held a frown on her face.
Kent smirked. “Let me guess. You are someone who enjoys playing mind games, and one way to do that is by staring into your eyes.
Too bad my mind is bigger than yours; so, if you want to have fun, find someone your own size.
This big daddy won’t be playing with you today. I have bigger fish to fry.”
Suddenly, all the staring and scrutinizing at the dsicples from Sonox stopped when Kent spoke. Tracing the direction of his eyes, they saw he was staring at the Widow Empress.
This caused people to widen their eyes in surprise. They knew staring at that young lady was akin to giving her the key to enter your mind.
And once she gets inside your mind, stopping her becomes impossible.
Her power comes in three forms.
The first is her eyes. Those with weaker minds will find their minds taken over by her just by staring into her eyes. She had used it to kill many, and for that, not many dared to stare at her.
The second is her threads. They are a way to one’s soul. The moment her threads latch onto one’s soul through physical contact, that will be the end for them.
People say she uses those threads to control both human and beast puppets, but that is yet to be confirmed.
The last, of course, is her daggers. They are an extension of her hands, and whenever she moves, death follows.
Such a person is not one to be told to look for those of her size to play with. That is just asking for trouble.
However, while trouble was expected, it never came after Kent spoke. Nyss Wu, or as most call her, the Widow Empress, stood there for a few minutes before a smile appeared on her face.
“What is your name?” she asked.
“You can call me Kent.”
Nyss moved, and the next second, she was standing beside Kent, her hand clasped in his. Kent felt threads seeping into his soul. However, instead of resisting, he allowed her to do what she wanted.
He knew the three he sensed to be powerful would try to look down on him, which was something he wouldn’t be thrilled about. So if this chance would provide him the means to handle one of them, then who was he to reject it?
Nyss blinked a few times when she sensed that no matter how much she tried, her threads never found anything to latch onto within Kent’s soul.
It felt like she was extending her threads into a deep void where nothing but bottomless darkness awaited.
This made her break into a cold sweat.
She calmed down and removed her hand.
However, Kent smirked, knowing she was faking the calm. He sensed it; she was scared of him, and that was what he wanted.
But he underestimated Nyss Wu’s friendliness.
“Big brother Kent is too strong,” she said to the shock of everyone. They expected some fighting, but what they got was just too…
…shocking.
“Don’t call me big brother, I am just 21 years old.”
Eyes widened, and gasps spread out.
Nyss narrowed her gaze at Kent. “You are kidding, right? You, a 21-year-old, have already reached the core formation stage?”
Kent saw it again.
This time, he saw that her world was crumbling, and it wasn’t just her. The two others who came with the carriage also held that look in their eyes.
They couldn’t wrap their minds around it.
All three of them reached the core formation stage when they were 40 years old, and even Nyss went ahead and reached the peak faster than both of them.
But hearing someone reach the same stage that made them prodigies within 21 years was unheard of.
This discovery wounded them, and doubt crept into their hearts.
Kent smiled, knowing his work was already done. The target is the Pill Princess, not the small fries. They don’t hold much weight against him.

[Core Region – Supreme Immortal Cave – Supreme Elder Enzi]
In the Celestial Conclave Alliance, there are ten individuals outside the Crimson Cult who are recognized as the top ten strongest.
The sect leader of the Celestial Gate Sect holds the top rank. The sect leader of the Primal Beast Sect is second but often swaps positions with the sect master of the Supreme Immortal Sect every thousand years.
It has been four years since the last swap.
However, the fourth position has been held by the Mistress of Mirrors, Lady Enzi, as she preferred to be called.
She is the Supreme Elder of the Core section/region in the sect. She has been in seclusion for the past 200 years. However, a few minutes ago, she sensed something that made her come out of seclusion.
“What was that? Did I just sense a Cold Flame?”
