Val came out with the look of someone worthy of the title, the Moon Goddess.

Her appearance had greatly improved, and though she hadn’t become completely different, her looks had improved significantly.

She was slender and perfect, accentuated by her hips. Her white hair flowed down her back, and her striking, bright blue eyes seemed to glow with an inner light. Looking into them felt like looking into the moonlight.

She wore a deep navy-blue cloak and garment adorned with gold celestial embroidery and star patterns. The fabric looked rich and textured, flowing naturally as it draped over her shoulders.

Looking at her clothes, it was clear that they were her battle armor, considering it was rich in millions of formations connected directly to the moon.

It would take someone very powerful, wielding a powerful weapon, to destroy it.

Her face was smooth and delicate with a porcelain-like complexion. She had high cheekbones, a straight and elegant nose, and soft lips.

Intricate, glowing, star-like patterns decorated her forehead and cheeks. However, they vanished when she landed on the ground along with her sword.

This time, Vexthra didn’t recognize the sword, meaning the Supreme Celestial wouldn’t be crying bitter tears. Not that Vexthra minded seeing one more item taken from that bastard she hated deep within her soul.

Like the rest of her sisters after their awakening, Val went in for a kiss from her man before pulling away.

“How do you feel?” Kent asked.

“I feel fine… more than fine even. I feel great. I feel like I am connected to the moon, that it will obey my command anytime, any day.” She smiled happily.

“Also, I have awakened 30% of my bloodline and gained a unique ability called Moon Goddess Ascension.

When used, I will temporarily become the Moon Goddess and be able to use her abilities for ten minutes.

The time is limited, but I can be likened to a goddess in those ten minutes.”

“…This… isn’t it too overpowered even for someone with a true name?” Zaila’s Primordial Spirit said, looking shocked. But it wasn’t only she who was shocked; the ladies couldn’t help but feel the same.

“Is there a cooldown time?” Kent asked.

“Yes. One lunar cycle, so a month,” Val responded.

“Just a month. Then, can you use it now for us to see?” Kent asked, and Val promptly nodded. She most definitely wanted to see how much she had grown and what powers resided within her.

So she tapped into the Moon Goddess Ascension ability.

Suddenly, she was enveloped by a radiant light that came from the moon. When it cleared, a more elegant form of Val appeared.

She held a staff in her hand that had a half-crescent shape at the head. Her hair flowed down her back, touching the very floor she stood on.

The energy coming from her was, without a doubt, divine energy. However, Vexthra, who was also a goddess, smiled and extended her divine energy, wrapping it around her.

Val was immediately restricted as if she weren’t a goddess.

“You, without a doubt, are a goddess in this form. However, because your bloodline power is still limited, you cannot harness the true power of the Moon Goddess divinity.

If I were to measure your current state, I would see that you can hold back a Spirit Lord and perhaps kill one, depending on your abilities.

However, when your bloodline has fully awakened and your cultivation base rises as far as a Spirit Lord, you could face a God Ascension stage god and walk away smiling.

But if you step into the rank of even a Root Immortal, then even I, a True God, am not sure I would be able to handle you.”

Vexthra let her go, but her sisters couldn’t help but be shocked by what Vexthra said.

“Sister Val is awesome. I knew you were special.” Unity, as usual, had to hype the rude saintess who had become the Moon Goddess.

Val moved and kissed Kent, keeping the kiss until her form returned to her mortal state. “In a month, I will take my goddess form again so we can have some fun time in bed.”

“I look forward to that.” Kent, shameless as ever, responded to the invitation. His wives just rolled their eyes.

“To think the rude saintess who couldn’t even last an hour with me during combat now has the power of a god running through her. I have to say, Val, you’ve come a long way,” Selene said with a smile.

She and Val were once friends, until it turned into a rivalry, which ultimately turned into sharing the same man. They battled many times, and at every turn, Selene won all the battles, but Val never backed down.

She kept trying until she came one last time to try, but she met Kent instead of Selene. Now, they are sisters. However, the rivalry never died down.

“Selene, why don’t we spar after this?” Val said.

“You will lose, and since you can’t use your goddess powers, I doubt you can last a minute with me.” Naturally, Selene was already radiating battle qi.

It’s all linked to her true name.

“We both have the power of the moon running through us, which means you will lose. Plus, you are a Level 7 Root Ascension, and I am Level 9… I think I can handle you,” Val boasted, but Selene just smiled.

Kent also laughed and pulled Val by the waist into his arms. “She is telling the truth, my love. You will lose. While you depend on your bloodline, she depends on both her bloodline and sword.

Her sword is made of celestial energy, while she has the lunar energy running through her bloodline. Mixing the two makes her very powerful.

Perhaps you two can compete on equal ground if she doesn’t use her sword. But she is a swordswoman, so she needed her sword just like you needed yours.”

Val didn’t seem disappointed. Instead, she smiled and said, “I will surpass you one day, Selene. Don’t forget that.”

Selene just laughed. “I look forward to that day, sister.”

The environment was suddenly filled with love, something every last one of them felt. Val talked more about her gains. After she was done, Lady Lani was called to start her awakening.

Sitting at the universe’s core, Lady Universe smiled, shaking her head. Dori, who was seated beside her, turned and looked at her and asked,

“What is it, mother?”

“That maniac is about to be awakened.”

Dori became puzzled. She had no idea what her mother was saying…or who she referred to as a maniac…

“Don’t worry, you will know when you get back. For now, focus on your recovery.”

“Okay, mother.”
