Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 554 - 554: The Bloodmancer [Bonus]After Zaila left, Kent turned to the message he had received when he made Zaila his 12th wife.
The Soul Essence he received was through the roof, and while he didn’t know it, there was something called Mental Points. When he received it, his mind expanded by several degrees.
All of this was something Zaila gave him. However, the most unique of them all was the gift he received in the form of a manual.
When he added Val, he received a realm comprehension tablet that would allow him and his wives to comprehend their realms easily.
However, now, it was a manual.
“This reminds me of the perfect Alchemist manual I neglected to read. This time, I will read this,” Kent said, taking out a blood-red manual with only a few pages.
“Legend of the Bloodmancer,” Kent muttered, reading the name on the book. However, before he could open it, a purple spell circle appeared on it, making it impossible to open.
Currently seated on her throne inside the Nameless Temple, the Enchantress shook in her seat. She quickly formed a series of hand seals and then drew a line.
The line appeared surrounded by 13 growing orbs. After observing it for a few minutes, she sighed. However, a frown appeared on her face.
“Don’t look at me. I didn’t send that to him.” Suddenly, the voice of the lady sitting at the core of the universe entered her ears.
“If you didn’t, then who?” the Enchantress asked.
“I was wondering if you have the answer.” The Enchantress shook her head.
“The timeline is still the same. Nobody tampered with it, and from what I know about the Universe Pool, it wouldn’t give that manual to him just yet. So what is happening?”
“I think we should prevent him from reading it,” the lady at the core said, but the Enchantress shook her head.
“There has to be a reason why he received the book now. If anything, we should be prepared instead for the outcome.
He who never appeared in the history books cannot be ignored now either.
If he was meant to exist, the least we can do is ensure he isn’t consumed by it.”
The two ladies came to an agreement, and Kent, who had been trying various methods to open the book, suddenly succeeded. The pages were dark, and the words were written in red.
“What a weird book,” Kent said, but he couldn’t help himself. He started reading, not noticing a red symbol forming on his forehead the moment he read the first line.
“The path of the Bloodmancer is one shrouded in mystery, blood, and the deepest of forbidden arts. Those who tread this path possess the power to manipulate the very essence of life—blood, using it as both a weapon and a tool of unimaginable power.
Bloodmancers can bend the blood of others to their will, create devastating attacks, and even control life and death itself.
However, they were never recorded because bloodmancy was a forbidden art that had been forgotten by all.
The first Bloodmancer—the one who created the first Bloodfiend—was never recorded in the history books, for his life wasn’t considered viable enough to be remembered.
However, the legends of the fallen, those who were forgotten, once spoke of the legendary Bloodmancer—one said to possess supreme authority over blood.
His story began as a young boy who lost everything before he was even born. His birth came from a dead soldier, whose flickering life force kept him alive until he was born.
His life was horrible from the start.
When the Blood Emperor’s men found him, he was just a baby crying in the mud of blood, with no energy or knowledge to move forward.
They took him in and catered to him. Slowly, he started to grow. He became a teenager who, after many tries, still couldn’t cultivate, so they made him a worker in a plantation.
Years later, when he was 20 and the first wall of the Breaking Shadows arrived, the Blood Race had to join the battle. That year, the Blood Emperor died, and his race was nearly driven to extinction.
Varek was left with nowhere to go. So, when the second battle arrived three years after the first, his life came to an end.
He ran for his life, but he could only get so far.
However, legend speaks of his near-death. They said that when he was on the verge of death, the timeline was split into two, and Varek found himself in the middle.
Nobody knew why the timeline split, but legend spoke of the moment the 14 legions came from the future to the pass heeding their masters call.
He was stuck between dying timeline and a probable one.
The forgotten legend spoke of the moment Varek witnessed the bloodcurdling battle that shouldn’t have happened. He saw the 14 legions arrive in their elegance.
He witnessed the moment the last piece of Chaos’s dragon soul left and entered the channels of time and space, traveling to both the future and the past.
He saw creatures of the unknown—creatures that should neither be seen nor remembered. However, Varek witnessed them all, and the moment everything ended, he found himself back in his own body, but as a child.
That was the day he rose from weakness, awakening his first Bloodheart. Legend has it that when he formed his first Bloodheart, his name was changed from Varek to Dracula, the first Bloodmancer.
“Chills,” Kent muttered, reading the last page. He felt his soul smile briefly when he finished reading the book.
“Varek… Dracula. I never knew the legend of Dracula was completely different, and from how it was written, this person was much more of a forbidden-born.”
Kent surprisingly made sense of everything, and for some strange reason, he had the urge to read more of this account.
However, he only had the first part. He stored the book away and sighed. Then, a sudden realization made him snap his eyes open.
“This may be a coincidence, but Bloodheart and Bloodheart Stone must be the same thing, right?” Kent suddenly felt a conspiracy building up.
“That can’t be it, right?” he wondered. However, he knew he would have to wait until he got his hands on this Bloodheart Stone.
“Things are getting interesting,” Kent said, looking forward to the future.
The Enchantress and the Mother Uninverse smile watching the brat put away the book.
