Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 491 - 491: Big Sister, You Are A Bully“Big sister, you are a bully,” Lilian said as she planted her face in Vexthra’s chest, hugging her like her life depended on it.
“Sorry about that, but I had to test a theory. Thankfully, my theory was validated,” Vexthra said with a smile. Now that she had retracted her aura, the ladies were not being affected by her divine aura.
“But take this as a test for what you will encounter as you climb higher in your cultivation. You will meet beings that can easily suppress you with their aura, so take this as my way of showing you that”
They couldn’t hate her for doing that. They knew what she said couldn’t be different from the truth. There are indeed beings out there that can overwhelm them with just their aura.
However, while she was showing them how terrifying an aura can be, she actually did more than that. In the brief encounter, she did more than test their resolve under her aura.
She did two things to them.
First, she planted her divine aura in them. It was buried deep, but she planted it in every last one of them. Even Li Hua wasn’t an exception.
This was to ensure they were not taken over by someone stronger than them.
Her aura would be unleashed when someone stronger than them tried to take over their mind or soul. This was her way of making sure her sisters were always safe.
The second was that she had just exposed Unity as a goddess, causing everyone to wonder if Unity had been using her divine powers on them recently.
They seemed to want her to have all the cosy time with Kent. In fact, even when she was overdoing it, they didn’t seem to care.
But hearing now that she was a goddess, they couldn’t help but wonder if Unity had been charming them all this while.
“Is Unity truly a goddess?” Selene asked.
“Yes. She is a goddess, and from what I sense from her, I have a feeling she is several times more powerful than I,” Vexthra said, holding Unity’s hand.
She was making sure she wasn’t too overwhelmed, considering Unity was puzzled upon hearing she was a goddess.
She doesn’t feel like a goddess at all, yet the goddess in the family says she is.
“She is a goddess, but not at the moment,” Vexthra said in a mysterious tone.
The ladies who knew what she was hinting at looked at Unity, and for a moment, they could tell she had a different feel to her.
“Alright, no need to make her nervous. We have a lot of time on our hands to figure out what kind of goddess she was. For now, we can only focus on me,” Vexthra laughed, causing her sisters to smile with her.
Li Hua was standing on her left, holding her hand. The lover of money wouldn’t let a goddess slip through her fingers.
“We prepared a welcome party for you, big sister,” Elsa said, causing her sisters to nod.
“It’s right this way,” she said, starting to walk deeper into the Love Garden. Vexthra lifted Li Hua into her arms and started following Elsa with the rest of her sisters.
Soon, Kent was left standing like he was insignificant.
“When did I become unrecognisable?” he muttered, a smile gracing his lips. They had just left him there like he didn’t exist.
“The saying ‘you shall know them by their behaviour,’ indeed is true.” Kent shook his head and then turned to his left, watching the dark-veiled beauty walk toward him.
“Big sister, how are you doing?” Kent, who saw a chance to become important again, spoke. However, he froze when he sensed something different about Lady Vari.
“Wait, when did you climb from level 3 to level 7 Core Formation Stage?” Kent asked, sensing a rather powerful presence coming from Lady Vari.
“I am here to ask you the same question. I was cultivating quietly when suddenly, my rank jumped from level three to four, and before I knew it, I was shooting through the ranks.
Now, I am at the 7th stage, and this just doesn’t make sense to me. What did you do this time?” Lady Vari asked.
She suspected Kent had something to do with this.
“I did not do… Oh, I see what is happening here,” Kent smiled.
“You see what?” Lady Vari asked, looking a little nervous. She had been cultivating for years now, so she knew that rising through the ranks that fast wasn’t always safe.
So she was concerned about her foundation.
“No need to freak out, big sister. It’s the doing of a goddess who doesn’t like minding her own business,” Kent laughed. Deep in the Love Garden, Vexthra smirked.
“Are you saying there is a goddess inside the tower at the moment?” Lady Vari asked, watching Kent curiously.
Naturally, there couldn’t be a more perfect time for Kent to brag. Lady Vari asked the perfect question, and Kent has the perfect answer.
“Don’t look too shocked, big sister. I have a goddess in my harem. And let me tell you, all I had to do was smile at her.”
*Cough.*
Vexthra, who was currently drinking fruit juice inside the garden with her sisters, coughed upon hearing what Kent said to Lady Vari.
‘This brat.’
A smile appeared on her lips, causing her sisters to wonder what was happening to her. However, they didn’t ponder on it since Vexthra chose to stop snooping on all the shameless comments Kent was spilling and focus on the party instead.
Lady Vari was left standing before Kent, not knowing what to say.
“Just who are you?” she asked. She couldn’t understand anything. While she would have doubted Kent if he said this before her sudden level-ups, she couldn’t do that now.
She had climbed four levels, and there was no denying that. So she knew Kent was telling the truth. He indeed had a goddess in his harem.
But if that was true, then just how was that possible? Just how did that even make sense?
“Just who are you, Kent?” she asked again.
“I go by many names. Some called me the Father of Weapon Cultivation. They called me Lord Genesis, some called me the Dragon Lord, the Chaos Dragon, and while I don’t want to scare you, I was also known as the Faceless Assassin.
But you can just call me Sir Kent, the charmer of beauties.”
Kent puffed his chest, making Lady Vari wipe the mysterious Kent she had painted in her mind a couple of seconds ago and replace it with a shameless Kent.
“I want to thank her,” Lady Vari said.
“Are you sure?” Kent asked, already seeing a trap forming for the Kingdom Protector. She was only in the tower to take advantage of the time difference and enhance spiritual qi.
She had already made Kent aware that she would never become his woman. However, asking to go near Vexthra was a recipe for disaster.
The goddess had clearly set a trap, and she is falling into it.
“I just want to thank her, Kent. It wasn’t like I wanted to challenge her to a life-and-death duel,” Lady Vari replied, making Kent smile.
“Your funeral. Not that I mind, so my advice to you: better prepare your voice, for you will be screaming in my bed sooner than you think.”
He held her hand, and they teleported to where Vexthra and her sisters were having the welcome party.
Vexthra smiled when her gaze met that of Lady Vari. The Kingdom protector immediately sensed the mischief.
