Chapter 2440 Eternal Snowstorm I

“KUWAAHH!” The roar of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra suddenly changed as its form no longer looks like it did before.

The ice mountain that could be said that became its cocoon for a moment suddenly burst out. The shards of ice scattered in all directions and destroyed everything around them. Some of the shards even went straight towards the barrier which the mage unit managed to defend against. The new form of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra could be seen as it is no longer the massive ice monster that it was before.

If the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra looked like a bundle of ice and snow with the silhouette of a stag like monster, then the new form is visibly different. The size visibly reduced by about a third of its original size, but the new form exuded power unlike before. The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra now has a silhouette of a large, spiked lizard with a large ice horn.

The new form of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra is no longer the bulky ice-covered armored body. It felt like the form of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra earlier was a sealed version of itself as it was heavy and more defense oriented. The form of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra is like its battle form as large ice spikes littered its silver scaled body.

The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra also has a thick robust tail that is actually as thick as its own body. The tail itself is also covered in large sharp ice spikes that can easily kill a person if they get hit by them. The arms and legs of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra is also covered in bladed ice armor that can slice anything that gets swept up by it.

The most unique part of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra is that its heart actually glowed in a pure blue and silver light. The energy brewing inside that heart has become so immense that even ordinary players can detect the power within it despite being not as sensitive to energy as Adrian. The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra did not only increase in power but also increased in overall lethality as well.

“No choice. Everyone, we can no longer wait for the Primordial Beast of Gluttony to move. All units must destroy the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra as soon as possible.” Adrian commanded as the people than can defend against the current Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra is close to nonexistent.

As soon as Adrian issued the command, the units that were lying in wait for the Primordial Beast of Gluttony to go all out has appeared. The units that showed up were none other than the Angel and Devil Unit that is led by Ark, the dragonkin unit that is led by Basil, the Assassin Unit that is led by Pana, and other smaller elite units from the other guilds. The problem they need to erase now is the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra because if they do not then they will be the ones erased as they will get buried in ice and snow.

The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra did not bother to actually talk because its instinct has already been overtaken by the Primordial Beast of Gluttony. The senses of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra can only see and feel the Heart of the Icy Abyss hidden inside the kingdom in front it. The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra did not even care of the numerous players that suddenly appeared to surround it.

The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra suddenly opened its large mouth as a pure white light gathered in its throat. The air that was already cold suddenly turned colder as a result. The wind became so cold that a slight touch in the skin felt like your blood became frozen. The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra did not even wait for a minute before it released this powerful frozen beam that froze everything it passed through.

The frozen beam that the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra ran through the ground and it immediately froze everything that it collided. Froze is actually an understatement because the entire path became solid ice and large sharp glaciers. The vanguard unit that is led by Kabrakan that shielded against the attack were all suddenly afflicted with the Frozen Status.

Some of the shield unit even died as a result but their bodies were still frozen. The frozen beam did not stop with the vanguard team as the mage unit had to create its most powerful Flame Barrier to counteract it but the barrier that is literally made of flames were frozen as a result. They were able to block the frozen beam that the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra released but all of them used their mana in the process.

The mage unit cannot even call that a successful defense because they barely made it out alive while also losing almost all their mana in the process. For mage players, losing their mana to the utmost degree is basically a death sentence. They could get inflicted with Mana Overload and have their mana circuits get damaged which could potentially kill them.

“I guess I can finally show off.” Anastacia stated as she waved her hands where her bracelet made of vines from the world tree activated.

“World Tree’s Warmth!” Anastacia shouted as a powerful warm light scattered throughout the front where all of the frozen players were unfrozen.

“Let the light of salvation be given by the Gods of Life! Grand Revival!” Anastacia added as a powerful divine force descended upon the dead unfrozen players and brought them back to life.

All of the players that were frozen has recovered and all those that died were brought back to life. This power actually also became possible for the NPCs as well as those that were frozen alive were brought back from the dead. It would have been impossible to revive the NPCs if they were dismembered though so this can be called a stroke of luck.

“All mages and support unit members! Buff all of allies with the Thermal Protection Buff!” Anastacia commanded as the priests behind her started to cast the buffs.

All of the players suddenly felt that the effects of the cold became almost negligible as the temperature of their bodies stabilized. They were only protected from the cold though and not the powerful attacks of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra. Seeing the powerful blast of ice still not destroying the walls, the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra once again pulled all of the cold energy around it but the players that surrounded it will not let it.

“Attack!” The specialized units of the alliance charged towards the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra.

The large beast was unable to move while it powered up its frozen beam of destruction. This made it possible for all the players to start attacking it. The Angel and Devil Unit led by Ark was the fiercest one of them all as they basically used their specialized magics that are either coated with light or darkness element. The angel and devil players have a mix of midrange to ranged spells which is why they are effective when using aerial combat. The dragonkin unit led by Basil is also powerful as they are boosted by her just being the Mother of Dragons. Basil could boost any dragonkin in her party by 100% if the enemy is more powerful than her. She also four dragons under her which boosts the elemental damage of all spells and attacks of the same element. The four dragons under her are also the same level as her and is also boosted by another 100% when with her.

Another powerful unit by themselves are the Summoner Unit that is led by Echidna. Just like her moniker of Mother of Monsters as the players call her, Echidna released all of her soulbounds and they are gigantic. All of her soulbounds could almost rival Adrian’s soulbound’s sizes in their full forms. She also has a Blazestone Chimera which is a mythical tier soulbound that is said to be a combination of three demigod level flame beasts.

Each of the specialized units attacked the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra. It was not just them as Adrian’s presence became more pronounced. All of Adrian’s remaining soulbounds also joined in on the attack. The other soulbounds did not come to play as they unleashed their attacks bravely even if they were stationed in front of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra themselves.
