Yun Lintian frowned deeply upon hearing this. If it was true, he also had no idea how to solve this problem. After all, even the Creator couldn't do it back then.
"Living with you?" Yun Lintian scoffed. "You think too highly of yourself. The Creator couldn't eliminate you, perhaps. But that doesn't mean I can't find a way to seal you more thoroughly, or perhaps even… dismantle you piece by piece."
The Chasm of Uncreation erupted in laughter, a sound that echoed with chilling amusement. "Dismantle me? A mere mortal like you? You truly are amusing, Yun Lintian. Your ignorance is your greatest strength, and your greatest weakness. It allows you to act without fear, but it also blinds you to the true nature of reality."
"Ignorance?" Yun Lintian repeated, his voice calm, unaffected by the Chasm's taunts. "Perhaps. But my ignorance is also a shield. It protects me from despair, from the crippling weight of inevitability."
"You speak of Yin and Yang, of creation and destruction. I understand the principle. But understanding it doesn't mean accepting your place in it. You are a force of destruction, yes. But you are not necessary. You are a flaw, a corruption, a tumor on the universe. And like any tumor, you can be excised."
The Chasm of Uncreation fell silent. Yun Lintian's words, spoken with such quiet conviction, seemed to have struck a nerve.
"You are playing a dangerous game, Yun Lintian," the Chasm finally hissed, its voice laced with a newfound edge of menace. "You think you understand, but you are dancing on the edge of an abyss."
"Nian Shi has been manipulating you, pulling your strings since the very beginning. He has used your strength, your naivete, to further his own agenda. And you, like a fool, have blindly followed him, thinking you are in control."
Yun Lintian smiled and said, "It doesn't matter, really. Sooner or later, we will eventually face off. When the time comes, we will know who the winner is. As for you, it's better that Ren Yuan fails to release you. Otherwise, I will make sure that you are thoroughly dismantled into nothingness."
"Arrogant!" The Chasm of Uncreation hissed. "It seems you have had it easy lately. Do you think you can go against me with your pitiful strength?""See? I can make you angry so easily here," Yun Lintian laughed.
The Chasm of Uncreation was so angry but had no way to vent it. It could only calm down and say, "Your ignorance will cost you dearly."
Yun Lintian chuckled and said, "Since there is nothing useful coming out of your mouth, it's time to say goodbye."
CLANG!
Yun Lintian raised his hand, and the Heaven Piercing Sword appeared, its golden light illuminating the chamber.
"What are you doing?" the Chasm of Uncreation asked in a deep voice.
Yun Lintian smiled faintly. "Didn't I tell you? I'm going to dismantle you."
"You…!" The Chasm of Uncreation was enraged. "You dare?!"
Yun Lintian ignored it and slashed his sword toward the pillars.
BOOOOM!
The pillars shattered into countless pieces, their energy dissipating into the air. The Chasm of Uncreation let out a deafening roar, its voice filled with pain and rage.
"Yun Lintian! You will pay for this!"
Yun Lintian chuckled. "I will visit you later. See you." He turned to look at Erlang Shen and asked, "Do you know about this?"
Erlang Shen shook his head as he responded. "No. This is the first time I've learned about this. How could the Chasm of Uncreation appear here?"
"That's a good question," Yun Lintian nodded slightly. "Let's go. The Jade Emperor must know something."
Erlang Shen didn't say anything further and followed Yun Lintian out.
Yun Lintian and Erlang Shen returned to the main hall, where the Heavenly Guards and the other gods and immortals were busy restoring the scene. The Jade Emperor sat on his throne, recuperating from his injuries.
When Yun Lintian returned, Yu Huang looked at him expectantly. "Did you find Ren Yuan?" he asked.
Yun Lintian ignored him and walked straight towards the throne. He stood before Yu Huang, his eyes fixed on the former emperor.
"Yu Huang," Yun Lintian said, his voice cold and sharp, "do you know about the Chasm of Uncreation?"
Yu Huang's expression changed. He looked away, avoiding Yun Lintian's gaze.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Yu Huang said, his voice trembling slightly.
Yun Lintian's eyes narrowed. "Don't lie to me," he said. "I know that you know about the Chasm of Uncreation. I found its presence in this Heavenly Court."
Yu Huang's face paled. He knew that he could no longer hide the truth.
"Yes," Yu Huang admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "I know about the Chasm of Uncreation. However, I have never come into contact with it."
"Tell me everything," Yun Lintian demanded, his voice brooking no refusal. "How did the Chasm of Uncreation end up here? What do you know?
Yu Huang, his face pale and etched with worry, hesitated for a moment. He glanced at Erlang Shen, who nodded encouragingly. Taking a deep breath, Yu Huang began his tale, his voice low and filled with a sense of foreboding.
"This... this goes back to the Primordial Era," Yu Huang began, his gaze distant as if peering into the depths of time. "Back when the Primordial Gods still walked among us, and the Heavenly Court was in its prime."
"One day," Yu Huang said further, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, "my master embarked on a journey. He left the Primal Chaos, venturing into the depths of the Realm of Chaos. No one knew his purpose, nor what he sought in that chaotic realm."
Erlang Shen's eyes widened in surprise. He had never heard this story before. The Realm of Chaos was a place of pure chaos and destruction, a realm where even the Primordial Gods feared to tread. Why would the God of Heaven venture into such a dangerous place?
"He returned after a long time," Yu Huang continued, "but he was... different. There was a darkness in his eyes, a shadow that had not been there before."
Yun Lintian's interest was piqued. He had sensed a similar darkness in Ren Yuan, the current inheritor of the God of Heaven's legacy. Could there be a connection?
"And he brought something back with him," Yu Huang said, his voice dropping to a barely audible whisper. "A strange object, unlike anything I had ever seen before. It was similar to a Chaos Crystal, but it pulsed with a dark, ominous energy."
