Myth Beyond Heaven

Chapter 2602: Merciless (2)

The blade cut through the air, leaving a trail of shimmering light in its wake. The chaotic aura surged forward, colliding with the beam of darkness in a deafening explosion. The two forces clashed, their energies intertwining in a dazzling display of light and shadow.

For a moment, it seemed as though the beam of darkness would overwhelm Yun Lintian's attack. But then, with a blinding flash, the chaotic aura broke through, shattering the beam and continuing its path towards the Devil Eye.

Mo Xie's eyes widened in shock as the chaotic aura struck the Devil Eye. The massive eye trembled, its form flickering as the chaotic energy consumed it. With a deafening roar, the Devil Eye shattered, its dark energy dissipating into nothingness.

The backlash from the Devil Eye's destruction sent Mo Xie skidding back, his body convulsing as he coughed up blood. His expression was one of disbelief and rage. The Devil Eye, his most powerful weapon, had been destroyed by a single swing of Yun Lintian's sword.

"How...?" Mo Xie muttered, his voice filled with disbelief. "How can you be this strong?"

Yun Lintian didn't respond. His expression remained calm, his eyes cold and unyielding. He stepped forward, his sword glowing with an ethereal light as he prepared to deliver the final blow.

Mo Xie, realizing the danger, quickly summoned a massive barrier of darkness to shield himself. But Yun Lintian's attack was too fast, too powerful. With a single, fluid motion, he swung his sword again.

The blade cut through the barrier with ease, the chaotic aura surging forward and striking Mo Xie directly.

"ARGHH!!" The Ancient Devil God Ancestor roared in pain as the chaotic energy consumed him, his body convulsing as he struggled to withstand the attack.

Mo Xie's screams echoed across the battlefield, a sound filled with pain and desperation. His body convulsed as the chaotic aura consumed him, tearing through his dark energy and rending his flesh.

The once-mighty Ancient Devil God Ancestor was reduced to a writhing, broken figure, his power shattered and his pride in tatters.

Yun Lintian, his face devoid of emotion, approached Mo Xie. The Heaven Piercing Sword in his hand pulsed with the chaotic energy of the combined Great Laws of Life and Death, a power that could obliterate anything it touched.

Mo Xie, his body ravaged by Yun Lintian's previous attack, could only watch in horror as Yun Lintian approached. He tried to summon his dark energy, to fight back, but his strength was failing him. The power of Chaos, wielded by Yun Lintian, was too strong, too pure.

"You... What have you done...?" Mo Xie gasped, his voice weak, his body trembling.

Yun Lintian didn't answer. He simply raised his sword, the blade glowing with a cold, ethereal light. He looked at Mo Xie, at the fear in his eyes, at the desperation that had replaced his earlier arrogance.

And then, he swung.

The sword descended, moving slowly, deliberately, as if savoring the moment. Mo Xie tried to move, to dodge, to escape, but his body wouldn't obey. He was paralyzed, not by any physical restraint, but by the sheer terror that gripped his soul.

The blade touched him, and for a moment, nothing happened. Then, with a sudden, sharp pain, Mo Xie felt his left arm being severed from his body. The limb, once a conduit for his dark energy, now lay on the ground, twitching spasmodically before dissolving into nothingness.

"ARGHHH!!" Mo Xie screamed, a sound of pure, unadulterated agony. It was a sound he had not made in millennia, a sound he had thought himself incapable of making. But the pain was unbearable, unimaginable, a pain that went beyond the physical, a pain that touched his very soul.

Yun Lintian watched him, his expression impassive, his eyes cold. He raised his sword again, the blade still glowing with the power of Chaos.

"This is for what you did to the Azure World," Yun Lintian said, his voice devoid of emotion.

And with another swing, he severed Mo Xie's right arm.

Mo Xie's screams echoed through the shattered realm, his body convulsing in agony. He tried to summon his dark energy, to heal himself, to fight back, but it was no use. Yun Lintian's power, the power of Chaos itself, was suppressing him, negating his abilities.

"This is for Long Xi," Yun Lintian said, his voice hard and unyielding.

Another swing, and Mo Xie's left leg was gone.

"This is for Yun Xia,"

Another swing, and his right leg was severed.

"And this... this is for all the suffering you've caused," Yun Lintian said, his voice filled with a cold, righteous fury.

Mo Xie's torso was slashed open, his internal organs exposed, his life force rapidly fading. Mo Xie, his body now a mangled mess, could only scream in agony, his voice growing weaker with each blow. He tried to fight back, to summon his dark energy, but it was futile. Yun Lintian's power, the power of Chaos, was too strong, too absolute.

"Please... stop..." Mo Xie begged, his voice barely a whisper. "I surrender... I'll do anything..." But Yun Lintian did not stop. He could not. He had seen too much, had felt too much, to let Mo Xie live. He had to pay for his crimes, had to face the consequences of his actions.

"Heh," Yun Lintian's voice was colder than the void of space. "You shouldn't have done this... You shouldn't have targeted my people."

With each swing of the Heaven Piercing Sword, Yun Lintian not only dismantled Mo Xie physically but also attacked his very soul. The chaotic energy of the Great Law of Life and Death surged, unraveling Mo Xie's essence, stripping away his power, his memories, his very

identity.

"No... please... I beg you..." Mo Xie pleaded, his voice a broken, desperate whisper. His body was now a mangled ruin, his dark energy almost completely depleted. But still, Yun Lintian

did not stop.

"You brought this upon yourself, Mo Xie," Yun Lintian said, his voice resonating with the power of Chaos. "You chose this path. And now, you will face the consequences."

Mo Xie's eyes, once filled with arrogance and malice, now flickered with terror. "Wait... We can talk about this... I can give you information... about the Lord of Chaos... and Yao Huang."

Yun Lintian paused, his sword hovering above Mo Xie's mangled form. For a moment, he considered the offer.

"I'm listen." He uttered coldly.
