My Werewolf System

Chapter 1317 - 1317: The True Blood Demon

The moment Ylva pressed her lips against Lupus, an exchange was happening. The energy from within her was mixing with the energy inside of Lupus’s body, and at the same time, his energy started to swirl around with hers.

Ylva’s eyes started to glow a bright white around the iris, while toward the pupil a deep, dark red could be seen. At the same time, Lupus’s eyes began to change, but in reverse as well.

His eyes glowing red, a white was forming on the inside of his pupil. As the energy flowed within each other, Lupus’s heart started to beat faster along with Ylva’s, until the two of them were in sync with each other.

Finally, Ylva’s head was whipped back, and she stumbled to the floor, falling to her knees, while Lupus’s body was lifting itself off the ground, surrounded by white glowing energy.

“Stop it, we have to stop it!” Edvard shouted.

Gary had an idea of what was happening. He had heard from Midwak that the Luna Wolf was able to start a transformation within the Alpha, unlocking a beast that would go on a rampage, destroying everything in sight.

With Edvard being a vampire, and possibly one that had lived a long time, of course, he had heard something like this before.

“I thought my luck was with me when the Luna wasn’t around, but she had been hiding in sight. I have to stop it!” Edvard said, as red energy swirled around his hand and he went to throw his fist out.

He was still a few hundred meters away as the attack went through the air.

Ylva’s mouth had opened wide, and a high-pitched howl shrieked out from her mouth. Ripples were being sent through the air, and as the ripples of energy hit the red pulsating power that had been thrown by Edvard, it broke into pieces.

Both Edvard and Gary fell to their knees as they gripped onto their ears.

“Ahhh, crap!” Gary shouted. His body was struggling to move forward, and it wasn’t just him, it was Edvard as well.

“We’re already too late,” Edvard said. “This damn Luna… it’s a skill that stops us from getting anywhere near, while they transform!”

The loud shrieking noise could be heard on every inch of the city. The people who were still sleeping had woken up, and those that had woken up a long time ago were wondering just what was going on.

“Midwak, what is that, that better not be what I think it is!” Innu shouted. The sound, although it wasn’t exactly the same, it had a sense of familiarity to the Luna’s Wolf Song, when she had called all of the Werewolves over to her side.

“There’s no point in Gary getting your loyalty if he ends up dead!” Innu shouted. “I knew the second you asked Gary to do that favor, that he was going to keep it. If she’s gotten to Lupus and this is a result of that…”

There wasn’t just one person looking at Midwak that way, Blake was as well, with his sword in one hand across his lap.

Although Gary and Edvard couldn’t move, they could still see the two up ahead. And Gary made note of what Edvard said before.

“Did you just say, while they transform?”

Figuring out what Edvard meant, he was realizing as he looked upon the two, it wasn’t just one person they needed to worry about.

Ylva’s fur was changing color. It was growing larger in size and glowing, almost a mix between silver and white. The glow coming off her fur almost appeared as if it was being generated by the moonlight itself.

Her limbs were being slightly elongated, but not large in size, making them appear more graceful. Then there were her claws. They were slightly curved, and the appearance of them was making them look like crystals.

As her arms slowly moved, a faint trail of light appeared to follow them. Then there was the crescent marking that glowed deeply on her chest. Lastly, there were her eyes that continued to fiercely glow as she looked at the two.

Galark knew what this form was, it was the Moonblessed form. There was no other Werewolf in the pack that received its powers based on the power of the moon like the Luna.

And, since it was nearing its full strength, Ylva was feeling incredibly powerful right now.

In contrast though, right next to her by her side, was what Lupus had become, the Bloodfang Apex form.

His fur had grown into a dark jet black. Even darker than the color of Gary’s fur when he transformed into his Shadow Ash Lycan form. Almost as if it absorbed the light around him.

His fur waved in the air, constantly moving as if it was alive. Around Lupus’s eyes, red veins extended out past his eyeballs, surrounding the area, pulsating with energy.

It wasn’t just his fur that had darkened in color, but his claw nails that came out of his hands, they had turned an obsidian color. However, there were partial cracks down them, glowing red, just like those of his eyes.

When Lupus just let out a breath, the air waves in front of him appeared as if they were rippling in the air.

“Vampires may need blood to live… that’s in our nature, and it’s what drives part of our power,” Edvard said to himself. “But the Werewolves’ thirst for bloodshed is a different lust compared to that of us vampires.

“A true monster is now right in front of us, Gary… this is something that all vampires have feared. The true form of the Alpha Werewolf, what we refer to as… the Dark King.”
