Chapter 4341 Directions
"How are you feeling?" I asked as Kanxin opened her eyes.
She woke up when I had expected her to; nothing unexpected happened. Now, it all depends on how she perceives changes inside her.
I did everything possible, and I hope she will look at things the way I want them to be.
"Bad!" she replied, and I smiled.
"Good. You are very lucky that things I had worked and worked better than I had expected. You recovered without barely any side effects," I stated.
"I do not feel lucky," she replied dryly and closed her eyes.
Soon, a surprise appeared on her face, which turned into a shock. A minute later, she opened her eyes and looked at me.
"Thank you. It seemed like I was really lucky to be saved by you, with so much ancestral power inside me. Even our healers might have been able to save me," she thanked.
I smiled but didn't do anything.
"Take some rest. I will be outside, in the living room," I said after a few seconds of silence and walked out.
Soon, I sat on the couch, and a moment later, graphs flashed in front of me. It had been over a day since I was here, but I didn't spot a single Grimm.
There isn't much proof of the battle that remained. We fought high, so our energies barely reached the ground.
As for the one created by the Kanxin, there was none. It wasn't like she had elsewhere. It's just that she was weak compared to those Grimms.
It would have taken them less than five seconds to deal with her. If it had been Bullman, then not even a second; she was no match for it.
The above isn't in the same place as when I summoned it over a day ago.
It was moving slowly through underground. We didn't come across Grimms, but there are monsters. One of the monsters was pretty powerful.
Enough that I wouldn't have fought.

I was in my thoughts when the door opened, and Kanxin stepped out of her room.
"You should have rested a little," I said. "There is no need for that. I am not feeling good, but I could use my strength, which is enough for me," she replied.
"At least eat something," I said, and two boxes of food appeared before me.
"Thank you," she thanked as she took the box in her hand before opening it and started eating.
It is not the food, I had made. I had found it in the storage of one of the Primes. It is good, made of rare materials, but not good enough for people to think of me.
It is made in completely different styles than I use in cooking.
Still, if I had cooked with these materials, she would be moaning by now. It is such a regret that I couldn't share my food with her.
"Are you sure you don't want to rest anymore?" I asked one last time as I finished eating lunch.
"No," she replied.
"Let's go then," I said as I appeared by the door before stepping out of it. A moment later, she followed behind.
I put the abode back into my core and covered her with my stealth as I flew into the sky. It will weaken my stealth, but it will be much better than hers.
It is the reason why I like to travel alone. It makes things much less complex.
I am responsible for my own safety and could use my methods without any problem. With others, I always have to watch my every move.
"Thank you for saving me. If not for you, I would have died," she thanked. "You have thanked me enough already," I replied.
She looked like she wanted to say something but didn't in the end.
I didn't say anything either and focused on the journey and the dangers. Until now, we hadn't encountered anything dangerous, but it had been barely a minute since we left the abode.
Like always, my soul waves are moving in all directions, but now, I have to be more careful with her beside me.
"You had comprehended law, right?" she asked after a few minutes. "Yes," I replied after a moment of silence. Curious about where it is going.
"How does it feel to be without it? With it being sealed," she asked. I have to say, I am surprised.
I didn't answer it immediately. I thought about it before opening my mouth.
"I would not say it is good," I replied to that she smiled. "It is frustrating. Seeing the power there but couldn't use it."
"Eventually, you get used to it. Learn to live with it," I replied, and it is true.
If I could use my laws, I wouldn't have faced the problems as I did face the Bullman. It might not seem like it, but my comprehension of my laws had reached quiet.
It had reached close to Carter's comprehension of his law, but unlike him, I have four laws, and all those laws are grade above his.
"I wish I had comprehended the law. I am trying desperately hard. Spent fortune and used every resource I had, but still couldn't," she said with deep frustration reeking from her voice.
"Comprehending the laws is hard, but if I were to advise any suggestion."
"Don't force it."
"People comprehend the laws when they are aligned with the world," I advised. Remembering the line, I had read once in the book.
An hour passed, and then another and another. We continued without coming across any Grimms.
We did come across monsters. For some, we needed to stop and hide.
"Left," she said, correcting me for the first time. I had been waiting for it. I didn't ask her for directions and had been moving our meeting spot.
We are only an hour away from it, but now it seems we are taking left.
I hope it is close and that we reach there before coming across any Grimm. I am excited for the Grimms, but I don't want to fight one before reaching the formation.
Right now, it is more important to meāmore than Grimms.
