“About that…” Valyr let out an awkward chuckle as he scratched the back of his head.
Forcing the gears in his mind to turn as fast as they possibly could, the young man hastily came up with an excuse as he asked her, “Remember how you asked him to have me come here?”
Seeing Mystia nod in response to his question, Valyr nodded back as he continued with a slightly wry smile, “Well… after the two met up, I asked him to do a couple of errands for me while I was talking with you.”
“Are the errands going to take some more time to finish, then?” asked Mystia, not surprised that Valyr had his student do that.
After all, even she would ask either Aloe or Vera to do a couple of tasks for her every once in a while.
“It… wouldn’t take too much time,” said the young man with a shake of his head. “The errands I had him do were pretty simple. Just needed him to buy some stuff for me.”
