Chapter 6052, Reunion
Author: Silavin
Instead of raising their guard, the two felt a familiar aura. It was strong, unimaginably so. Yet, it was not in any way hostile to them.
The two children could already guess who it was without turning back.
It was none other than Mo.
With this whole land being made of him, it was not surprising for Mo to be able to appear and disappear as he pleased. So, though he had suddenly appeared, the twins were not that surprised – they even had a heads up though they had anticipated a proper meeting and not a sudden visit.
When they turned around to see Mo, they found the sight of him to be baffling. There, Mo stood, with an appearance that was slightly different. Like before, his feet were attached to the ground, and he was a completely black entity with the tint of purple. It was just that his facial and stature seemed more defined for some reason. Furthermore, the facial expression he wore this time was different.
The last time they met him, he had this cold indifference to him that was hard to remove even when he was requesting their help. It was an indifference of a higher-being – not so much that he was trying to be rude. In fact, the twins would not have noticed unless they contrast the one before them and the one from their memories.
The Mo before them was far warmer. Though his eyes remained the same black with glowing purple irises, there was a slight warmth to them.
The first thing that was muttered from Yang Ji was, “Uncle Eleven?”
This was the first impression that he got. Though no longer looking Human, those warm eyes reminded him of the Uncle that took care of them.
Mo, no, Little Eleven broke out a smile. He was happy that they could still recognise him even after taking on this form.
Seeing Little Eleven break out into a smile, the twins immediately knew their instinct was right. Their Uncle had successfully assimilated with Mo.
They did not know when this had happened, but it was a great thing for them. After all, this was their original goal in coming here. Though they now know that there were more fragments that needed to be assimilated, their first step was a success.
Curious, Yang Ji asked, “Uncle Eleven, what happened?”
Though they were happy, they were at the same time disappointed. After all, they were brought here to help him out. Yet, before they could do anything, they were kidnaped. In fact, when they thought about it, they were no different from being burdens.
Little Eleven placed his hand up and shook his head. “I’ll tell you in time. Right now, there is something more urgent I need to deal with.”
Little Eleven did not waste anymore words and immediately appeared right in front of Yang Ji.
Little Eleven reached out and gently placed his palm on Yang Ji’s abdomen. There, a mysterious force was injected into Yang Ji, one in which would reach his Dantian without harming him.
In fact, Yang Ji had not felt anything but a warm palm land on his abdomen.
However, this mysterious force had startled the little worm inside his Dantian. It had enraged her.
As this mysterious force spread through the Dantian and was about to reach the little worm, she retaliated. She forcibly pushed back against this force and rushed out.
Little Eleven, who could feel his probe being pushed back, immediately snorted. He lifted his hand away and clenched his fist.
All around the originally plain looking living room now appeared to be symbols and lines. They instantly formed upon Little Eleven’s Will. This whole Space, this whole Black Ink Nest, was all entirely in his control.
The twins stood there rooted. They were not sure what was happening. All they knew was an Arrayshad formed around them. Naturally, this further proved that it had been Little Eleventh who had rescued them earlier, since he was probably the only one in this world who was proficient enough in the Dao of Arrays to create them in a flash.
Yang Ji could feel a subtle Space Fluctuation in front of his abdomen, and suddenly, the little worm came rushing out.
She did not even bother to scan her surroundings as she already knew the target of her rage. Her haughty eyes seem to portray absolute confidence as she dash forward.
Little Eleven, already seeming to be prepared for it, pushed his palm out. Immediately, the Array around the room lit up, and barriers were erected between them, surrounding the little worm.
However, it was apparent that the Array’s barrier meant nothing in the face of this tiny creature. With a small chomp, she easily bit through that layer and proceeded to charge forward.
With a swift move of Little Eleven’s hand, the symbols and lines around the room changed. A different Array was formed to isolate the little worm. However, she yet again repeated the pattern and easily broke through the Array.
Seeing this, Little Eleven did not panic. In fact, he had already predicted this would be the case. He just formed more Arrays, each different from the last. The room would dim and glow with each change, with a small figure pushing forward each second.
This proceeded with more than a hundred Arrays broken, until the little worm showed difficulty in certain types. Eventually, figuring it out, Little Eleven had the little worm come to a sudden stop. His eyes narrowed and he moved forward to erect a second Array on top of the first one.
From what it seemed, the only Arrays that worked on her were Soul and Illusion Arrays. Other Arrays simply did not work. Even Space Arrays to teleport her back did not work. It was a true mystery why only these two kinds of Arrays were effective on her.
“Uncle Eleven, is she dangerous?” Yang Xu was the first one to break the silence. Through this period, Yang Ji and her had been keeping quiet, watching the whole battle unfold. She did not understand what her Uncle Eleven did to make that little worm so angry, but she trusted him over some worm.
Little Eleven opened his mouth but felt great difficulty in trying to explain. In the end, he could only shake his head and vaguely say, “It depends.”
The twins narrowed their eyes.
Little Eleven gave a sigh and asked Yang Ji, “Can you recall her?”
Yang Ji scratched his check in embarrassment. After all, he technically did not know how to control her. She moved on her own, and only abided by his order as she pleased. Whenever she left his body, it was technically by her own Will, and willingness to help him.
“I can give it a try but she might not listen to me.” Yang Ji said, willing to give it a try.
Little Eleven seemed to understand something and then gave a nod. Though he had hoped Yang Ji had control over this variable, it was understandable if he could not. After all, this little worm’s existence was something that defied common sense.
So, Little Eleven contemplated. If anything, the priority was to enable the twins to reign her in. They were the only ones who had a link to her very Source, so they were the only ones who could tie her down in the truest sense. Even for him, with the power of Mo, he would not be able to stop her without his ability to create Arrays. In fact, if considering who was the most dangerous being to the Black Ink Clan, it would undoubtedly be this little worm – not the twins who could cast Purifying Light.
