Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage

Chapter 420 - 420: 420: The Great Supreme God Beirut is Calling You!

“Draconis!?” Beirut’s golden pupils shuddered violently, a wave of deathly energy spread out, sending chills through his demon soul.

“You… stay away! The master said you cannot harm me!” Beirut was utterly terrified, as if he had seen his arch-nemesis.

A mass of writhing tentacles raised that strange eye and hid behind the blue stone tablet.

“Do you recognize it?” Orson looked at the scene in surprise. The once-feared high-tier Heaven Demon was now like a frightened rabbit, with tentacles covering its head, hiding behind the stone tablet and only daring to peek through the corner of its eye.

This was a far cry from Orson’s previous impression of a ruthless, cold-blooded Heaven Demon that devoured all organic matter.

A wave of deathly black mist spread out, and Crimson Lizard King, who had been hovering nearby, suddenly transformed into a little girl of about eight or nine years old.

“You’ve shrunk!” Orson was momentarily stunned.

“Is… is this… Crimson Lizard King? Orson’s mount?” Nightshade stammered, the others frozen in place, eyes wide in disbelief.

Blank, too, was taken aback. “The fearsome dragon of blood and death… This is its human form?”

Dancing Giant Boobs and the others exchanged glances. The nine little Flame Dragons from their guild, barely out of their hatchlings, were already thrown into the furnace to work. But this one, with her ruby-red eyes and battle armor, was clearly too young to be subjected to such treatment. She looked so vulnerable.

“Orson, come on, how can you bear to ride her like this every day?” Bradley frowned and shouted, feeling that Orson had crossed a line.

Orson nearly stumbled, turning to yell, “Mind your own business!”

Crimson Lizard King turned furiously, glaring at Bradley. “Fatty, I’m gonna eat you!”

Pfft…

“Stupid fatty, did you hear that? Be careful, you might end up as fermented tofu in a stir-fry. She’s small, but she’s strong!” Madman couldn’t hold it in and burst out laughing, instantly lightening the tense atmosphere.

Orson’s lips twitched in amusement, but he couldn’t deny the absurdity of it all.

Right now, he wasn’t able to unleash his full power. Crimson Lizard King, as his number-one ally, had been severely weakened in terms of both stats and size. Yet, to see her go from a poised red-eyed beauty to a porcelain-like little girl—it was definitely unexpected.

“Draconis… great lord of the underworld, it’s me, Little Bean! Do you remember the time we were punished under the World Tree together?” Beirut’s once imposing tone suddenly shifted, desperately trying to flatter Crimson Lizard King.

The reason was simple: Beirut, once a magnificent Heaven Demon, had been devoured by this very being, leaving only his head behind. BlazeKing had engraved a curse on his tentacles, forcing him into an Immortal Slave contract and making him an eternal servant. Despite BlazeKing’s fall, the curse still persisted for a full ten thousand years!

Faced with a supreme being exuding the power of death and the underworld, it was only natural that Beirut felt immense fear.

“We were comrades in battle! We once destroyed a Heaven Demon ark together as gods!” Beirut’s voice rang out with high spirits, though his actions were far more grotesque. He peered out from behind the stone tablet, his face twisting into a grotesque smile.

Everyone was completely confused. What was this monster doing?

The golden eye slowly moved towards Crimson Lizard King. Beirut’s voice suddenly turned cold: “No, you are not her. You are merely a lowly offspring.”

“Descendants, easy to wipe out. Immortal Slave.”

The red-eyed little girl snorted, her small hand trembling as she pulled out a bone sword, dark mist swirling around her.

“That’s right! They’re all dead, and I, the all-powerful Beirut, shall rule the world!” Beirut shouted in delight, his tentacles expanding again, his great golden eye glaring down at Orson and Crimson Lizard King.

The entire underwater space trembled violently. An eerie, invisible ripple burst outward, like a droplet falling into a lake, creating ripples in the air.

Orson furrowed his brow. As the ripple expanded, he suddenly felt dizzy, his head pounding. “Damn it, you’re really asking for it. You have no idea what kind of danger you’re in!”

The Ocular Demon in front of him was far stronger than any ordinary Heaven Demon. According to Infinite Dimensions’ tier ranking, this was at least at the God tier!

Thankfully, this creature had been severely weakened, its six-armed golden body having been consumed by Draconis, reducing its combat power significantly. But Orson wasn’t about to take any chances. This thing didn’t just specialize in future prediction—it could also control minds.

The staff members surrounding them, though untouched physically, wore expressions as though they were peacefully asleep, their faces frozen in smiles. This was clear evidence of a mental attack.

Mental powers were difficult to defend against. A moment of carelessness could result in irreversible disaster!

“Get out of the magic formation’s range!” K.D urgently warned.

“It’s too late. Become my Immortal Slave, and serve me, Beirut!” Beirut’s high-pitched, mocking laughter filled the air, as the mental control extended outward, even affecting those outside the formation.

“…My head hurts!” Sienna screamed, her face pale, holding her head helplessly on the ground.

“This damn monster, if I had a sword…” Bradley gritted his teeth, using the pain to keep himself awake, rushing over to hug Sienna tightly. Madman and the others followed suit, surrounding her with their bodies.

Mental control! Weakening their willpower!

Orson’s stats immediately showed three new negative buffs. His face turned pale as if he had lost control. Deep down, he could hear Sienna’s cry for help, but his limbs felt strangely heavy, like being pinned by an invisible force.

Roar!!

Crimson Lizard King let out a terrifying roar that didn’t match her size.

Orson’s hand trembled, and before he knew it, it was aimed at his own neck.

Crimson Lizard King’s eyes widened in alarm. She swung her bone sword, attempting to knock Orson’s Supreme Arcane Blade away. However, as a trial-taker, Orson had developed an instinctive response to danger. He saw Crimson Lizard King’s movement as an attack, dodging her strike with ease.

Everyone was shocked. Blank furrowed her brows and snapped, “Orgod, the strongest player in Infinite Dimensions, is this all you’re capable of?”

Her words struck a nerve in Orson. His hand hovered over his neck, fingertips turning white. His forehead bulged with veins as he struggled with a terrifying urge within him.

It was as if, by driving his sword down, all his nightmares of the future would vanish, and he and Sienna could return to a peaceful life.

Orson’s gaze steadied. He refocused and let his eyes glow with a divine light as if he were a god.

“This is interesting. So interesting, hahaha…” Beirut’s eerie laughter echoed, and the golden eye shot a beam of light, aiming directly at Orson.

“Immortal Slave!! How dare you defy the will of a Battle God?” Crimson Lizard King roared in fury. Her form shot up to its full size, becoming a giant dragon, trying to block the attack.

However, mental attacks were devious. The beam passed right through Crimson Lizard King’s body without any hindrance, striking Orson squarely in the forehead.

“Do you remember me? Who I am, Orsonever?”

“I am your greatest creation, the soul returned from the future.”

“It is I who call you, the great Supreme God Beirut calls you.”

Beirut’s voice echoed in Orson’s mind.

When he heard “Orsonever,” his exceptional willpower shattered in an instant.

His “greatest creation”? The soul from the future?

Orsonever!

That was his game ID from his previous life!
