“You have successfully persuaded the half-beast Queen Ninelra.”
“Hidden task updated!”
“[Ninelra’s Imperial Ambition]”
“Difficulty: Hell-level”
“Task: Capture 20 orc towns for the half-beasts.”
“Current progress: 6/20”
The task refreshed once again, and Orson immediately accepted it. The only change was that the number of towns required had increased, meaning it would take more time. With his current power, he couldn’t say he could flip the Dark Dragon Empire upside down, but at the very least, he could wipe out the orcs at the borders of the two great empires.
Activating the Orc Heretic title, Orson followed the task’s guidance to the orc city-states, and with the Ice Prison Ring, he started to mass spawn monsters and farm kills.
As the icy mist spread, chaotic infernos raged, and wherever Orson went, disaster followed. Orcs and monsters alike fell before his onslaught.

“Hmm… Finally arrived at the Dark Dragon Empire. The sky’s the limit! No one can stop the rise of the Unmatched Guild!”
“Right! The world’s better without Orgod in it. The air feels so sweet.”
Meanwhile, at the orc Black Lion City’s monster spawn point, more than a dozen teams of Dark Dragon players were engaged in a fierce grind. The elite monsters here were level 50, and their strength was insane. Even these elite guild players were finding it tough. However, the oppressive weight in their hearts had finally lifted, and that was the most satisfying thing to them!
Sizzle…
In an instant, dozens of players froze in place, instantly turned to ice statues.
“Frost magic? Wait, no… The monsters here only use physical attacks, how can there be a freezing effect?”
“This doesn’t make sense! My health is dropping fast!”
“Could it be poison?”
Two large guilds’ players stood stunned. Within a few breaths, several white lights rose as their teams were mysteriously wiped out.
“Thanks a lot, this is insane! Do the Dark Dragon’s monsters have such insane abilities?”
“I died once and lost a level? What the hell!”
“Wait, something’s off! There’s some kind of aura skill being cast! Could it be an invisible world boss?”
These players, trained to follow standard anti-ganker protocol, immediately started chugging ice/fire resistance potions to stabilize themselves. They were left confused, scanning for any signs of a “world boss.”
“I feel… something familiar…”
Unmatched Robert’s face darkened, his skin crawling. He suddenly shook his head. “No way, it can’t be this coincidental!”
But just as he said this, a rumbling sound echoed from deep within the canyon. The players, stunned, turned to look, dropping their weapons in shock.
“Orcs… Orc horde? Holy shit!!”
Players riding flying warbeasts stared in awe as a massive wave of orcs, their eyes glowing red, surged toward them. It was like an unending flood, the ground shaking with each step. This horde was easily over 100,000 strong!
“My god! This is insane! Are they coming for us?”
“Don’t panic! We’re Dark Dragon players—orc tribes are neutral to us!”
Some players began to retreat nervously, but Unmatched Robert quickly reassured them that orcs wouldn’t attack them unless provoked.
“Boss, are you sure?”
“Positive. They won’t attack unless they’re aiming to be wiped out by the Dark Dragon Empire.”
Robert grinned confidently, having received this intel when switching factions.
“Damn it! They won’t attack us, but they’ll crush us underfoot!”
The sound of the orcs’ charge grew louder, and in less than ten seconds, Robert was left speechless. The orcs charged with full force, trampling players and crushing them without mercy.
Dozens of white lights shot up as orcs barreled through, and players were trampled into oblivion. The scene was horrific.
Unmatched Robert’s face turned pale. He had no idea who he had pissed off! Was joining the Dark Dragon faction always meant to start with a hellish experience?
Just then, a massive shadow swept across from above the canyon. The remaining players looked up in shock. A figure stood atop a dragon’s head, waving down at them apologetically.
“Sorry, didn’t notice you guys in the canyon. My bad!”
Unmatched Robert’s eyes widened in fury. “God damn it, Orgod!”
“Wait, this guy knows me? I’ve been in the game capsule for too long… Can’t remember who he is—damn it.”
Orson froze upon hearing the familiar name, quickly muttering apologies before heading off to the next orc city-state.
Unmatched Robert, his mind about to explode from rage, was ready to shout when suddenly, a massive foot came crashing down toward him.
He was unceremoniously stomped by a mammoth warbeast, dying instantly.
“I can’t take this anymore! I need to calm down—he won’t be this arrogant forever.”
Robert took a few deep breaths, trying to regain his composure. He was a man of vengeance, and he wouldn’t let this slide. He still remembered the humiliation Orson had put him through when he took over his territory. He was determined to make Orson pay.
After about ten minutes, Unmatched Robert and his team returned to the canyon, hoping to recover their lost equipment and gold.
Meanwhile, Orson had visited Black Lion City, luring even more orcs with his presence. While orcs might be poor, the 1% loot drop rate meant there were occasional legendary items, and orc warriors and knights sometimes dropped high-quality gear. The more orcs he killed, the more loot he collected, which turned into a nice profit.
Thus, Orson began flying back, collecting dropped loot.
Passing through the canyon again, he was greeted by an unexpected sight.
“So much loot! Is this my lucky day or what?”
The Unmatched Guild players stood stunned, looking at the canyon strewn with orc corpses and a dozen pieces of purple Hero-level equipment scattered across the ground. It was a surprising sight that lifted their spirits.
“That equipment isn’t yours. You’ve got 16 minutes left to claim it.”
Several players tried to pick up the items but were baffled when they couldn’t.
“Can’t pick it up? Is this loot from Orgod? That bastard is so rich, he doesn’t even pick up Hero-level gear at level 45?”
Unmatched Robert’s eyes widened in sudden realization.
“Oh no… wait, you guys are still here?”
At that moment, an anxious voice echoed.
“What are you guys doing here? Run, friends, run!”
Orson, riding his Crimson Lizard King, picked up a piece of jewelry just as he noticed the unfortunate players who had been crushed underfoot by the orcs.
Roar! Roar! Roar!
“Shit!”
More orcs came charging, even more than before. The players were on the verge of losing it.
“Orgod, you bastard! You’re doing this on purpose!”
Unmatched Robert’s teeth were about to break from grinding them. He stood frozen, as if paralyzed.
“Orgod! If I don’t take you down in this life, I swear I’ll never be a man again…” Robert screamed, only to be trampled again, turning into a bloody mess.
Orson shrugged, a faint smirk hidden behind his indifference.
“Dying once is one thing, but dying a second time? Is that my fault?”
With that, Orson fully immersed himself in the thrill of monster grinding, his Soul Seal proficiency skyrocketing as he continued to kill.
Hours passed, and Orson finally shouted, “Mission accomplished!”
After grinding for ten straight hours, even the self-proclaimed “small liver king” began to feel the strain. For Orson, killing monsters wasn’t difficult, but manually collecting loot without Berenice’s help was mentally exhausting.
“Your Human Soul Seal has reached the maximum proficiency!”
“Master level unlocked at level 80.”
“Your Divine Soul Seal has reached the maximum proficiency!”
“You need to obtain Essence of Divinity to unseal it.”
