Chapter 3890: Resolve yourself! I
The cold winds stirred gently across the white sea of frost.
Noah stood in its heart, surrounded by the gnarled and stretching branches of the four massive Yggdrasil Trees, their trunks converging like the ancient fingers of fate.
Above and below, the glacial expanse shimmered like cracked crystal, each breath of wind biting with the clarity of silence before a storm as the Masters of Existence from other Folds stirred with caution!
And how could they not be cautious?!
Because across all this silence, Noah’s presence swelled.
He rose slowly into the air, a golden resonance wrapping around his form in coils of silent dominance. The domain stirred. Beneath him, the wriggling masses of the Imitation Mutated Inevitabilities seemed to twitch in anticipation.
Like they knew that they were about to be stirred awake. And the golems that once hovered in still formation began to hum, the runes carved into their frames flickering with warning as they also got ready.
Noah’s will alone had begun to awaken this frozen graveyard as he floated closer and clother to where Inevitabilities and Golems were clustered!
Then, of course, came the voice.
"Fellow Master of Existence," came the silky tone, too smooth to be sincere, "perhaps we can speak now."
Noah did not look toward the voice.
But Master Neinoro stepped forward regardless, white robes swaying behind him, a glint in his eyes that tried to pass for reason.
"With the convergence of paths within the Labyrinth," Neinoro said with a smile that was far too carefully measured, "and despite the... tumultuous encounters, now is an opportune time to coordinate. To introduce ourselves properly, and plan."
He gestured around at the gathering masses. More than a hundred Masters of Existence. Hundreds of Primarchs.
"Surely you sense it?" Neinoro continued. "This is the precipice. The final trial before we are accepted into the Transcendent Folds as those who can stand against the rising Inevitabilities. Why not collaborate? Clear these... beasts together. Divide the fruits accordingly. We, of the Lesser Law Folds, would love to cooperate with others..."
He glanced around, eyes quietly collecting affirmations. A few nodded. Some murmured assent. Others simply watched, waiting for Noah’s answer.
Then Neinoro turned back, expression careful. "You’re powerful, of course. But power isn’t everything. A collective of power with everyone here will be much more helpful in clea-"
"Are you trying your best to die today?" Noah asked quietly.
HUUM!
The words weren’t loud. They were not shouted.
But they silenced Existence!
Master Neinoro’s expression hardened. Behind him, the Masters of Existence stirred.
"Do you truly think," Neinoro said with sharper tone, "that the Foldless Ones who oversee this Labyrinth would let you continue like this? To slaughter unchecked? To move so brazenly? You flaunt your strength now, but there are limits. Everything and everyone...has limits."
...!
Noah didn’t pause in his ascent.
His gaze turned toward the center of the converging trees, where the Inevitabilities writhed, and the ancient golems hovered like titans waiting for command.
He spoke as his Glyph pulsed.
"Then you can be the test," he said softly. "Let’s find out together if I can be stopped."
...!
Neinoro didn’t answer.
Existence answered for him.
Because in that moment, the Glyph of the Protagonist blazed.
It radiated golden light in waves that bent the air and carved silence into the bones of all who stood nearby.
The glacial air thickened. The space near the Inevitabilities twisted. One by one, the wriggling masses began to move as they were awaken by the golden light!
Hundreds of eyes opened across each grotesque creature!
WUUU!
WUU!
WU!
Screams echoed across the sea of frost- alien, primal, and loud enough to shake the boughs of the trees above.
The Inevitabilities had awoken.
Noah remained still.
From behind him, after her work healing Kalysta and others was finished, Sigrid floated quietly to his side.
Her voice brushed against him calmly.
"You want what lies within the Inevitabilities?" she asked gently.
He turned, eyes meeting hers as he thought of Imitated Everything. "Yes."
She followed his gaze to the masses of writhing chaos and the cautious Masters of Existence retreating ever so slightly along the perimeter.
The Inevitabilities moved now with purpose. Heatless frost cracked beneath them, glowing sigils of doom swirling over their bodies. Chaos embodied. And yet...
Sigrid sighed.
"I truly just wanted a bit more time," she whispered, "to be with you before all the complex things unfold..." Her lips curled sadly.
"But this convergence defeats that hope. So..." She stepped forward, brushing the snow-slick wind with her palm. "Is it okay if I help you clean it all up?"
Noah raised his brows slightly, then smiled.
"Go ahead."
She smiled in return. And then...
Brilliance unfolded from her.
Her form pulsed. Not with Origin, not with Paradox, not with Law.
It was something quieter. Something that has been gone for quite dome time!
The brilliance unfurled slowly. White light that wasn’t just light- it was command, sculpted into bloom.
Her feet hovered above the ground, her eyes closed as the glow surged.
She breathed out, and said simply.
"Resolve your discrepancy."
HUUM!
Another breath.
"Resolve your inevitability."
There was no shout. No gesture of battle. Just the stillness of control.
Above every Inevitability and golem...white lotuses bloomed.
Petals of precision. Petals of purpose.
They hung in the air like suspended verdicts.
But a moment after they bloomed...
Screams.
Horrified, wailing, enraged screams.
The Inevitabilities, for all their unnatural complexity and mutated evolution, recoiled in terror. They thrashed. They contorted. But the lotuses, Order...had already taken root.
Flames of purity ignited upon their surfaces.
Their wriggling masses burst into white fire.
The screaming crescendoed!
Dozens burned!
The flames refined. They erased everything unneeded. Everything chaotic!
Even the most terrifying of golems cracked, white lotuses blooming through their cores as if they had always belonged there.
Noah watched silently.
He watched as chaos was devoured by purpose.
As complexity bowed to command.
And in that moment, he understood.
Order did not scream or rage.
It whispered.
And when it whispered, even inevitabilities listened.
Because Order did not beg for obedience.
It simply gave it a path to follow.
And if there was no path?
Then it carved one!
With white lotuses and burning grace as at this moment, a wonder of the Living Origins expressed herself!
