Chapter 3752: Resistance I
The Folds blurred.
Noah and Primarch Romulus had spent hours threading through layers of collapsed reality and veiled echoes.
They moved like twin gravities, their paths carved into the unspoken silence of the Nullvein Gravewake Folds. Neither spoke. There was no need.
The destination demanded solemn wonder as it was…their Dead Native Wheel of Existence!
And at last, they crossed through the Folds to arrive where everything began.
Primarch Romulus had a heavy expression as he looked upon the massive obsidian Wheel of Existence that was displayed out in the open of the Nullvein Gravewake Folds.
No Infinite Ravines.
No Gateway Domus!
Just…the Wheel.
And the Wheel was dead.
The Verdant Spokes that once spun with the breath of trillions that Romulus knew were all shattered.
The True Frequencies that once harmonized End, Genesis, Fire, Light, and Dark were collapsed into decaying weaves of silence.
Romulus walked ahead without a word, boots pressing down on fallen bridges, delving into the Dead Frequencies as Noah followed calmly.
And the same time, his eyes…blazed with a turn of the Wheel as he sensed something, but continued on!
The robes of Romulus whispered like old entropy, a memory of motion across a land where Converged Architects and Harmonized Monads once stood glorious.
Noah followed. Quiet. Watching.
Romulus halted before the fractured Frequency of the End- now a spiraling ruin of crystal and ash.
He stared.
Then spoke, low and solemn.
"Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust. And now…existence returns to the silence that birthed it."
He turned to Noah. Eyes heavy with age.
"I wish I could say I've seen my native Wheel of Existence and that we could move on. But it seems, my friend..."
His gaze sharpened.
"We won't have to go far to find the ones we seek."
HUUM!
Yes.
What Noah had sensed a little while ago.
What was becoming abundantly clear now!
BOOM!
Time fractured around the Frequency of the End.
Air twisted.
The dead Frequency rippled with impossible flux. Past bled into present, collapsed futures shimmered into existence. Laughter, soft, melodic, mocking- unfurled like silk across the weavings of Death!
"Indeed," a voice cooed. "You do not have to go far, and neither do we. I knew that sentimality would always bring back those we seek."
The skies split.
Time… collapsed.
And they emerged.
Purple blue temporal gates flared open across shattered Megalos of the Frequency of the End!
Nine figures formed amidst the raining echoes of broken causality and time appeared.
Power shimmered from them- beyond time, beyond sequence. Their robes were golden hours stitched into endless yesterdays, each fold a breath of time folded inward and outward.
At their side stood a woman.
Primarch Eluriah Veilnox.
She floated above the folds of death, surrounded by a storm of clocks—each frozen mid-tick. Her presence twisted local causality. Even breath was forced to obey her tempo.
Beside her stood a tall, translucent figure shrouded in drifting scrolls written in languages Noah couldn't decipher fully yet.
NAME: Time Sentinel Paraxis
TITLE: Librarian of Lost Moments
TRUE SOURCE: Regression
CQ: 162,000 SU | PQ: 158,100 SU
And then, the one at the very forefront.
He did not walk. He did not descend.
He appeared and disappeared all at once.
A man, if a man could carry the weight of collapsed eternities.
His hair flowed with silver and starlight. His cloak shimmered with the speed of dying epochs. His eyes burned not with heat, but inevitability.
He looked at them like he'd already lived this moment and knew how everything here would play out.
In his eyes were apathy and…boredom.
Because perhaps…he truly had seen everything and knew how it would play out!
NAME: Time Sentinel Leader Velmior Thal-Veyr
TITLE: Grand Conductor of the Whenfolds
TRUE SOURCE: Interval
CQ: 220,000 SU | PQ: 215,000 SU
His presence bent the surrounding Existence. Each step a command. When he raised a hand, all motion ceased- the dead ash froze mid-air, the wind fell still, and even breath paused. Not out of fear.
But command!
Noah looked at such a being with sharp eyes as he spoke.
"Noah Osmont. You have something that required us to come back here a second time, and this time with a force to assure what needs to be done. Come, child…"
WAA!
His gaze did not hold hatred.
Only judgment.
Romulus stood beside Noah, expression stone.
These…should be members of the Chronosect of Threadbound Folds.
Before them stood the nine Time Sentinels.
Temporal resonance danced through their forms- pasts rewritten, futures unwoven, all coiling into their beings like serpents of time.
The Time Sentinel Leader, Velmior Thal-Veyr, stepped forward.
Tall. Impossibly composed. Skin of silver streaked with golden runes pulsing with recursive logic. His cloak was a cascade of moments- glimpses of events past and yet to be as on it, Noah could shockingly see figures of Romulus and himself…fighting!
His voice carried inevitability.
"There is no need for a fight," said the Leader, each syllable a verdict. "I have seen every fight that could happen here. Every path your resistance could take."
His eyes, starlit and still, passed over both Noah and Romulus.
"And in all but one branch of possibility… you die."
The Sentinels remained still, robes flickering with looped moments. Even breath echoed.
Romulus tensed.
Noah didn't move.
"But," the Leader continued, "there is that one thread. One. Where you endure. Where resistance matters."
He raised his hands. Rings of locked Moments gleamed.
"Do you truly believe, that you carry power enough to walk that singular path? That one in a million chance? Because we saw you appearing here with another, we brought even more. We just need…the key."
…!
He turned to Noah.
The pressure surged.
"You…" His voice fractured across centuries. "Even in death, you guard the key. Another part of you has it, yes? Even when you fall—you do not yield."
Noah's eyes narrowed.
The Leader's tone turned cold. "I'm dissecting every instance of your being. If you do not relinquish it, I will erase you before your bloom. I will appear when you were born and erase everything. Nothing will remember your existence."
Romulus stepped forward.
"Enough of this bull."
WAA!
"Which of you is Primarch Eluriah Veilnox? You are the only one that needs to die for your actions."
…!
"Oh? You? My time to die is not yet here." Primarch Eluriah stepped out with cold eyes as she looked at Primarch Romulus who seemed unbothered even as 9 terrifying Time Sentinels stood opposite them!
Primarch Romulus pulsed with glory in the next moment.
Green-gold flames erupted from his spine—geometry folding into dimensional wings of entropy and collapse. Each lattice bore wonder, each rune a scar of causality. The air warped under his power.
He stood tall.
Eyes blazing.
Voice thunderous.
"Today," he said, "Entropy has decided your time of death!"
HUUM!
Existence held its breath as wonder was about to unfold!
—
Far from the fallen Wheel, in a place of mirrored Quintessence, Noah's other body stood within the Infiniverse Crucible.
He raised his hand.
Instantly, the platform quieted.
The Infiniverse stopped her expanding Lattices.
Battles paused. Echoes froze.
The Queens, Monads, and gathered Entities turned.
Noah looked skyward- beyond the layers of the Crucible.
There, the radiant symbol of Infinity burned in blue and gold.
His voice, calm.
"Two days," he said. "Since the Infiniverse Crucible began. Two days of endless death."
His fist closed.
The Infinity Symbol pulsed.
"It is time," he said, "for the Infiniverse Forge to award. Let those who fought and died... be rewarded."
HUUM!
The Crucible shuddered.
The skies rippled.
And in the skies…a multicolored mountain buzzed as it was seemingly about to erupt!
