Chapter 1033: Ruvva Faces Root
Primary Nature—Kinesis Deity!
Secondary Nature—Minor Treasure!
Minor Treasure—Orakha’s Checkpoint!
Originally, Orakha’s Checkpoint was used to funnel the power of the Nature of Daily Checkpoint. After the Nature was removed, the Minor Treasure changed, and only retained the auxiliary parts associated with Daily Checkpoint.
Now, Orakha’s Checkpoint was a means for Orakha to store his life’s experience in a collective, undamageable state. In its present state, Orakha’s Checkpoint was no different from Orakha refining a Spirit Weapon to the extreme using influence from the Nature of Daily Checkpoint through Mystic Kinesis Art.
Thereby, it was in line with a Brimgan Royal’s build progression. The Minor Treasure’s composition was Brandal Brimgan’s Human Avatar in the first place.
The Minor Treasure now contained the Human Avatar. Orakha’s Checkpoint had now become a Minor Treasure whose function was to recover Orakha’s build, which also included the Human Avatar.
Boul Brimgan’s Kinesis Feline had offensive means while Orakha’s Checkpoint was simply recovery-related.
Since a complete recovery had already happened, the ten Minor Treasures each had a complete Human Avatar. Without a physical body, they couldn’t form a stack, but that wasn’t important for now.
Since the Primary and Secondary Natures had appeared, the next step was simple—Tertiary Nature!
For a Brimgan Royal, this was achieved through fusing with the Major Treasure of Deity. Upon fusion, it would generate influence in their Human Avatar and eventually birth a Tertiary Nature in them.
There was a blinding light as the ten Minor Treasures of Orakha’s Checkpoint fully wrapped around the Major Treasure of Deity. They couldn’t technically fuse into one, as there was no flesh body involved.
However, the Minor Treasures achieved a similar effect by fully wrapping around the Major Treasure. In terms of functions, they were compatible.
The Major Treasure of Deity created the Influenced Region of Golden Deity, which was basically a mineral being similar to a Brimgan Royal’s Human Avatar form.
Similarly, the Minor Treasure of Orakha’s Checkpoint influenced a target body and gradually morphed it into Orakha. The influences of both were compatible, which merged to form a cocoon that could theoretically mimic a human body.
That was why Orakha’s didn’t use Ruvva’s puppet. It inherently resisted external influence, no matter how much Ruvva toned it down in her puppets. This resistance would mess up the process.
And hence, Orakha simply decided to rely on the influences, which were enough temporarily. A proper body wouldn’t form in a short while. And even when it formed, it wouldn’t be anything special. It would just be a Free Human body fit for Orakha, which could naturally be obtained through the Minor Treasures anyway.
The temporary cocoon behaved enough for the effects of the Major Treasure of Deity to seep into the Minor Treasures of Orakha’s Checkpoint.
Boul Brimgan watched the process with interest, since it would prove to be an enlightening experience. A moment later, he sent out a command. Within a minute, a crowd of Brimgan Royals had appeared before the Influenced Region of Golden Deity and kneeled on the ground.
“We greet the previous Emperor!” The Brimgan Royals announced simultaneously. They then greeted Ruvva, “We greet the Guardian!”
“Come up,” Boul Brimgan commanded and created a Rutham platform at the mouth, on which all the Brimgan Royals landed. He shielded them from the Golden Deity’s influence and brought the platform within the stomach. “Watch it,”
Pointing at the cocoon formed by the mixture of two forms of influence, he announced, “Watch it and learn. This process directly portrays the essence of what the Major Treasure of Deity does to our body upon fusion. Understanding this will allow you to be influenced by the Major Treasure better when it’s your turn.”
“And you’ll have an easier time growing in strength upon obtaining Deity Fusion.”
The process undergone by Orakha’s Checkpoints was a transparent relay into their build, which would prove enlightening to the Brimgan Royals. Hence, Boul Brimgan brought in everyone worth witnessing the spectacle.
Whether they already had a Tertiary Nature or not didn’t matter. They would all benefit from it. And upon laying their eyes on the cocoon, all the Brimgan Royals went into a trance. They were gaining tremendous insights every minute, into their builds and Mystic Kinesis Art.
“Ruvva,” Boul Brimgan eyed the woman in question, “Most of our core strength is here. I don’t wish to disturb them, since it’s pivotal for their future.”
“I hope in this time period, you can protect the Empire.” Boul Brimgan said, “I don’t think any issue will arise at present. But if it does, please handle it.”
“Rest assured,” Boul Brimgan said and winced once as her eyes glowed violet, “I will manage.”
“Thank you.” Boul Brimgan said and encased Ruvva and Moihala in an armour of Rutham, “Let me help you return to the surface.”
There were two golden flashes as the Rutham armours vanished and returned shortly after, now empty.
Ruvva and Moihala found themselves in the Brimgan Palace that had already been rebuilt. The moment the Cosmic Being was dealt with, Boul Brimgan had already informed Bronsk Brimgan about it.
The Brimgan Emperor, Bronsk Brimgan, accelerated repairs on the Palace. Thousands of golden flashes swarmed the palace and quickly completed the repairs. And then, all the people and goods that had been moved out were shortly placed back in their respective locations.
“It’s…already been rebuilt?” Moihala gasped in shock upon looking around at the familiar surroundings in her room. All the items had been returned to their original spot.
Moihala then noticed the chessboard, which was strangely trembling from time to time, “What is…this?”
’Something seems unusual with it.’ She frowned in thought and then turned around, “Mother, what do you think…? Mother?”
“Where are you? Mother!” She shouted, only now noticing that Ruvva had vanished from the room silently. She quickly rushed to the nearest window and spotted a flash speeding down the Empire’s main road, ’That’s mother’s Skill of Prana Flash! I’ve never seen her be that fast!’
“Mother…” She became worried. However, even if she wanted to, she couldn’t catch up to Ruvva, and hence, could only pray for the latter’s safety, “Please be careful.”
At the same time, the person in question was stressed, ’Dammit!’
Ruvva had just received word about Virala’s return, or rather, Brangara’s arrival in the body of Virala, ’One after another! Things are getting messed up!’
She knew the Mystic Paths were the cause. ’They caused Uncle Orakha’s revival. Thankfully, I was there to deal with the Cosmic Being.’
If not for her, the Cosmic Being would have fully taken over Orakha’s Checkpoint and claimed ownership of it. ’Did something similar happen to Virala?’
She observed the Mystic Ewworm in her stomach, and sighed relief upon seeing no change in it, ’At least, my backup hasn’t been compromised.’
Minor Treasure—Mystic Human Stamp!
There were four of them in total. One had been consumed to revive Virala. Of the remaining three, two were at the Abode of the Mystics while Ruvva held the last one. She had long used the Minor Treasure to clear out Virala’s mindspace.
She had only done that to the body in her possession and not the one at the Abode of the Mystics. After all, she was aware that Virala would eventually return to normalcy, thanks to his Mystic Human traits of resisting external influence.
So, she only did whatever she wanted with his second body. After wiping clean its memories, she placed its Mystic Ewworm form in her stomach and controlled it using the Mystic human Stamp.
The Mystic Ewworm’s sole function was to use its tool function to create Minor Treasures. Ruvva relied on the influence generated by both the Mystic Human Stamp and the Golden Deity to accelerate the speeds at which she turned the tool into a Minor Treasure.
She had created two Minor Treasures in this process, one using Ruthrey and the other, using Ruthusk.
Her strongest Minor Treasure, using Rirenal, was still in progress. It would take a long while to be completed, since it was a Mystic Grade mineral. She didn’t want the status quo to change until she finished creating the Minor Treasure. After that, she will be ready to face whatever issue comes her way.
Currently, Ruvva had a total of four Minor Treasures—Ruthrey Minor Treasure, Ruthusk Minor Treasure, Mystic Human Stamp, and Spirit Puppet Slip.
There was a total of four Minor Treasures of Spirit Puppet Slip. She only needed one for her use and hence gave the rest to the Mystic Humans. They were in dire need of extra methods to protect themselves, and these Minor Treasures would pave the foundation for that.
After all, the speed at which a Gold Ewworm’s tool could turn into a Minor Treasure was many times slower as compared to the Mystic Ewworm’s tool.
With the aid of the Mystic Human Stamp alone, a Gold Grade mineral required close to a century, depending on the mineral, to be turned into a Minor Treasure. This was for a Mystic Ewworm.
Of course, Virala decreased the necessary time by using a basically infinite, and excessive supply of Prana through his Empyrean Boar King body. He even consumed the Celestial Boar’s body, which was how he managed to make four Minor Treasures of Mystic Human Stamp and Spirit Puppet Slip respectively.
For a regular Mystic Human with a Gold Ewworm body, even if they spend all their time perched upon a Mystic Human Stamp, it would take them multiple centuries, to even a millennium, before they could turn a tool into an Ewworm.
The Mystic Human Council had strategically allocated two Mystic Humans for that purpose. That was also why they unanimously voted Ruvva to carry one, because she could make Minor Treasures at a significantly faster pace.
Boom!
As Ruvva approached closer to the Lotus Range, she could hear a thunderous rumbling approaching the Brimgan Empire. She received all sorts of reports by the time she arrived as the Lotus Range, allowing her to know the trouble that had arrived, ’Shit! This is the worst time for this to happen.’
“Guardian!” A soldier stationed at the top of the Lotus Range saluted upon seeing Ruvva land next to him.
“Where’s he?” Ruvva swerved her head and no longer needed an answer, for she could see soil tsunamis rise high up into the air with every leap from the approaching individual.
“We’re ready to fight!” The soldier shouted, “Our preparations are…”
“Stand down,” Ruvva waved her hand and relayed her decision nervously, “Don’t do anything that might trigger him. Even if we have the means to kill him, we shouldn’t.”
“For he’s immortal and will return stronger, bearing vengeance.” She turned into a golden flash and rushed down the Lotus Range, “I’ll handle this! Only take action when I fail.”
She landed on the Brimgan Sea, her feet gliding across the water surface as ripples reverberated underneath. Her body began to spin as Ruvva accelerated in the direction of the approaching individual, shouting at the top of her voice, “STOP!”
“You’re approaching the Brimgan Empire’s territory!”
There was no response, as the incoming individual only accelerated upon reaching the Brimgan Sea. But right as the individual was about to touch the Brimgan Sea, a wall of Prana blocked his path. The wall just shattered, as the individual plunged into the sea.
However, a second later, a shockwave pushed him out. The individual slowly tilted his head downward and gazed at his chest that sported a mild mark, a scratch, if you will. His expression changed in response as he finally took to mind the opponent standing before him, “Do you intend to block my path?”
“If you intend to intrude on my home, then yes,” Ruvva shouted as the water rippled under her feet. The moment she noticed the individual’s body twitch, she grew nervous and raised her voice, “Stand down, Root! State your reason first!”
“I only answer to my Deity.” Root’s eyes narrowed as he felt the brow stream extending out of his body flash stronger for a second, ’It’s in the Brimgan Empire!’
Without hesitation, he leapt towards the Lotus Range.
