I WAS CAUGHT UP IN A HERO SUMMONING, BUT THAT WORLD IS AT PEACE

Although I don’t really feel like sitting, nothing will start unless I do, so I give in and take a seat in the throne-like chair. The situation is somewhat similar to last time, but this time, the chair is truly extravagant.

It looks like Alice and Fate-san will be handling the hosting. They’ve somehow already set up what looks like a commentator’s seat and are using a Loudspeaker Magic Tool to put on a comedy-like exchange.

And while it was mentioned earlier that people would give their birthday wishes when handing over gifts, Fate-san has taken the liberty of celebrating first as part of her hosting privilege. She waves at me, so I give her a wry smile and wave back.

Just as I have that thought, I hear the sound of clapping. When I turn my gaze, Ein-san is applauding.

“You seem obviously happy. You must’ve been frustrated when you were banned from helping during the last ship party. Well, in any case, we’ll be counting on you.”

It looks like there’s absolutely no issue at all. In fact, Ein-san seems genuinely happy about it. Well, that works out great for me too……

“Alright, we’ll have Kaito-san lead the first toast…… but before that, let’s spin the lottery once to decide who will give the first present. That person would then hand over their gift to Kaito-san right after the toast.”

As soon as I nodded in response to Alice’s words, a table and a garapon lottery machine appeared right beside me, which I figured I would spin. The moment a ball came out, it disappeared, and glowing text appeared in the air.

Kuro just looks exasperated, but it seems to have gotten to Makina-san, who is forcing a strained smile.
