Chapter 1464: Part 2: Bracing for another storm

Silver Tower:

Wilfred Cox felt that the matter was serious. He thinks it would be a matter of time before the wizard seeds from other magic towers start troubling Vincent Carey.

He then calls and informs Susan Park and Jason Nicholson.

They were surprised upon hearing this news. They had thought the incident had settled down. Now the several other magic towers would act against Vincent Carey.

Jason asked Wilfred whether Vincent Carey would know or not. But Wilfred replied that he didn’t tell Vincent Carey yet. It’s just that he wanted to confirm the situation with them.

Then three of them have decided to meet Vincent Carey late in the evening to discuss this new problem. They knew Vincent Carey didn’t have support. Only they can help him with the information.

When it was evening. Wilfred Cox arrived at the Silver Tower. He then comes to the lobby and sits on the sofa.

Jason Nicholson and Susan Park were on their way here. They will be here shortly. In the meantime, he decided to inform Manager Lara.

Wilfred said, “If he doesn’t act smart, he might get trapped again.”

“Manager, call him and ask him to come,” He added.

The next second, I heard a call from someone. When I saw the contact name. I saw it was Manager Lara. Then I attended the call.

“Vincent, come down here. The Wizard Seeds have come here,” Lara said on the call.

Hearing that I understood. Then I got out of bed. I changed into fresh clothes. After getting ready, I exited the room and started going towards the lobby.

When I came down to the lobby. I saw Manager Lara and Wilfred Cox. I raised my eyebrows in surprise. This guy won’t come here for a reason. So what happened now?

I walked up to them and sat on the opposite sofa.

Manager Lara and Wilfred Cox turned toward me.

“What?”

“Is there something going on?” I asked them.

Because I found something wrong with their expression. There is definitely something up. It’s just that they are not expressing it right away.

Lara saw everyone’s reaction and decided to break the news herself.

She said, “The Mage Union announced punishment for the Wind Elemental Tower yesterday. Right after that, the major magic towers had made a decision.”

“To gain more fame, they have hidden to motivate their wizard seeds. The wizard said that if any of their Wizard Seeds defeated you, they would get rewards,” She added.

Hearing that left me speechless. I knew something was up. But I didn’t expect to be this big. It seems worse than the Doyle Family situation.

I touched my forehead, feeling a slight headache.

The atmosphere has become completely silent. Everyone let Vincent Carey digest the information first. Because he is going to face difficulties in the coming days.

I took a few minutes to collect my thoughts. I understood my name is getting famous among other Magic Towers. It won’t be long before I attract the attention of the Mage union people.

Then I looked at them and asked, “Is there any way to avoid them?”

“I’m going to reject their challenges,” I added.

“It won’t be easy,” Wilfred said.

“They will do something to provoke you. You can’t stay inside the Silver Tower forever. If you go outside, then someone will come to trouble you,” He added.

Hearing that, I sighed inwardly. Things are going back to the same situation.

“Don’t worry. Lord Charlotte and other Forbidden Wizards won’t let other Magic Towers bully you. The Wind Elemental Tower was already suffering because of their actions,” Lara said in a serious tone.

“Yes, Manager Lara is right,” Wilfred said.

“You can wait for Lord Charlotte to arrive. She will do something about it,” he added.

Susan and Jason continued to listen. They can’t help Vincent Carey with this problem. Their families are weak compared to some other Wizard Families.

Then I pushed down the unnecessary thoughts and looked at them.

“Okay. Thank you for your information. I’ll keep the things in my mind,” I said to them.

Then I shifted the topic and began to discuss other topics. Wilfred and others understood that Vincent Carey doesn’t want to talk about this topic.

A few minutes later,

Wilfred and others stood up to leave. They have just come here to inform and discuss with Vincent Carey. Since they told him they are ready to leave.

Wilfred, Jason and Susan left the Silver Tower. Only Manager Lara and I remained in the lobby.

She said, “I think one person can help you if you are in trouble.”

Hearing that I turned towards her in confusion.

Lara smiled and said, “Celeste!”

Hearing that my eyes flickered with understanding. I almost forgot about her.

“Her family is more powerful than the families behind these wizard seeds,” Lara added.
